I’m thinking about building a Trash Panda, but not in the normal .223/5.56 or 300 blackout. I’ve been thinking about building it in 338 ARC, has anyone done this already? If so, what follower did you use?
Why did I wait so long to buy a Bambu printer? Even printing at “ ludacris” speed, the H2D is dead silent. Why did I waste so much time with Creality printers (I’m still running my K2 Plus, though)?
After running nothing but Creality printers since I got started in this hobby back in 2020, the most recent being a K2 Plus for the past year, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered an H2D on the first (with an AMS 2 and an AMS HT). Anything I need to look out for?
Well, today (technically last night) I learn that the stock extruder on the K2 Plus doesn’t have the grip to pull filament from a 5kg spool, which is extremely disappointing. I used to run this size spool all the time with my old K1C, never had an issue feeding from them using the exact same roller system. Ended up having to hand spool the filament onto a 1kg spool, not that it matters too much, as this will be one of the last prints I do on this particular printer. After a year of running this K2 Plus, and running Creality printers for roughly 6 years, I’m joining the “dark side”. I ordered an H2D on the first, it has features that no Creality printer has at this time, ie a dual nozzle print head that would allow me to run a dedicated support material, and I can run PACF blends straight from Bambu’s AMS 2 and AMS HT. (Flair chosen at random)
Pic is for attention, but per the rules: BCA bufferless 9MM upper, Alpha Team Tactical trip kit, 3D printed Kabuto FRT, 3D printed NOBU V2 lower, and a sauerkraut brace. Anyway, this is a follow up on the Alpha Team Tactical trip kit, and I just got back from the indoor range that’s across the street from me, and here are my findings: didn’t work, in fact I’d end up with a completely dead trigger when in the third position after every shot. Maybe after the build breaks in more it will start working, I’m not sure, but today was wrought with so many issues that I didn’t even make it through the first mag (Tula steel case)
This is a bit of an odd question: are there any thick AR pistol grips floating around? I have big hands, and normal pistol grips don’t allow me to get the “proper” part of my finger on the trigger. I do also prefer a more vertical grip angle. Thanks in advance for any help
It’s been a LONG time since I’ve used Pirate Bay (I think the last time I used it was 2011, used the barrack’s WiFi), how’s the virus risk these days?
I’ve been thinking about putting together a 6 ARC AR15, I’ve seen people hit targets at 1000 yards with 14.5 inch barrels, but how short is too short? I like short, handy, rifles, I currently have a 7.5 inch 5.56 SBR (there are special forces teams using about that length barrel, so I don’t see an issue with it), and I just “finished” a 7.5 inch bufferless AR9 (yes, it takes Glock mags). I’m sure y’all can see a pattern. To get this out of the way: I know 7.5 inch is way too short for 6 ARC, I just want to know what the minimum barrel length is for the round to still be useful.
What’s a good source for cheap bullets? I’m only planning on loading subsonic. Also, where’s a good source for reloading data for short barrels? I’m planning on getting a 7.5 inch barrel.
First AR9 is done(ish), still need to dig through my small stockpile of cheap optics, and swap out the muzzle device so I can put my FTN5 Flow suppressor on it. And now the required build list: 3D printed NOBU V2 lower (printed in PolyMaker PolyLite PLA PRO), BCA bufferless upper, Alpha Team Tactical trip, 3D printed Kabuto (SUNLU PA6-CF), hex pattern skeletonized A2 grip (will be getting replaced, don’t like the A2 angle), 3D printed MCXish folding brace, and some cheap pins I got off Amazon to hold the upper to the lower. The FRT does function in dry fire, can’t wait to get to the range to get it fully dialed in, but that’s going to have to wait. I know some people will see “BCA” and turn up their noses, but this is a handy little PDW style PCC that won’t break the bank, and this is my third upper from BCA, I’ve had nothing but good experiences with my other two, so I’ll continue to roll the dice. Anyway, if allowed I’ll post a firing video after my first trip to the range.
Someone mentioned a different Plan B adapter that simply threads into the FTN5, I thought I saved the link, but can’t find it in my open tabs. If someone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated
Has anyone come out with a trip for the BCA 22 uppers? I found one for their bufferless 9MM uppers, but I can’t find one for the 22. Before anyone says anything negative, I own multiple BCA uppers, haven’t had any issues with them
I bought a Dead Air Sandman L a few years ago, as much as I like the KeyMo mounting system, I’ve been wanting to convert it to the Plan B mounting system for the past couple years. Then, I randomly found the B-MO through a Google search, it replaces the collar with a Plan B adapter
(Picture of my F1ed FTN5s for attention) Has anyone used the Apex Flow Technologies baffles for an F1 build? I want to build another suppressor for a 300 blackout that is shorter than the Sandman L I currently use, but I was wondering if there was a drill jig for the baffles. Clearly I’m no stranger to 3D printing, so if anyone knows of a printable jig, that would be helpful.
I’m not looking for upvotes, though I do appreciate them, I’m trying to get help with a future build.
Anyone know if they’re still in business? I got a box of 9MM brass from them a few months ago (3000 pieces), I want to get some 5.56, 308, and 6.5 Creedmoor brass, but their website doesn’t seem to be working.

Are there any HUB compatible K cans out there? I want to do another 300 blackout build, but I want to be able to use something shorter than my Sandman L with it. I’ve run subsonic 300 BLK through the Sandman L before, and it’s quiet as fuck, but it’s also long as fuck (FTN5 for comparison)
Ok, all four of my Form 1s were approved (which I made a post about earlier), but there is one thing I’m still curious about: how long does it take to get the hard copy of your paperwork? Or do you only get a digital copy?

Forgot I put together a NOBU V2, printed this before I switched fully over to PA6-CF. Working on modifying it to allow me to install a printed Kabotu (or however it’s spelled), as I found a trip for the BCA bufferless 9MM upper, so I can run an FRT in it. I believe I have an MCXish brace on it, I can’t remember. I think I printed this thing a year ago, and it’s been sitting in a box ever since, I’ll order the upper next month
