Is this normal?

Got these Hokas used off eBay. I'm noticing this spot where the stitching is turned up, and I can't make it stay down. Now I'm paranoid there's something wrong with them. Is this normal? I am going to be relying on these during travel so I want to make sure that these are good and not some cheap crap that's gonna make my feet hurt.

They didn't come with a box but they feel good otherwise. Thoughts?

Going on Vacation beginning of September - don't wanna get sick. What can I take?

Hey hey,

So I'm in my early 30s. My wife and I are taking an international flight at the beginning of September to spend a couple weeks overseas. Last time I was on vacation I got extremely sick, and it was terrible. The time before that, SHE got extremely sick. I'd really like for us to just both be healthy this time.

Is there any supplement we can take over the next few weeks to strengthen our immune systems before we go so that we can hopefully not come down with anything on our trip?

Is reddit SUPER slow lately for anyone else?

Mostly talking about mobile, but it's happening on desktop too. Things just don't load. My Internet speed on my phone is around 200 mbps and things just don't load. Is this just me or is it happening to others as well?

Galaxy Watch 8 vs 9

Hey guys,

I have a Pixel Watch 3. I've been a Pixel guy for a long time, but just recently got a Samsung phone. I had a watch 5 back in the day and frankly was not that impressed with it.

Anyways, after switching back to Samsung, I was looking at the Watch 9. It's super expensive! But I can get the Watch 8 for a decent price on Amazon in the wake of the Watch 9 dropping.

I've heard mostly bad things about the Watch 8. Are they legit? Is it really that bad? How's it compare to the Pixel Watch 3? I don't mind charging daily or every other day as that's how I currently use my pixel watch anyway.

What should I do? Is the Galaxy Watch a better experience now? Is it worth saving some money to get the 8?

Galaxy Watch 9 or Pixel Watch 3

Alright so I have been a pixel guy for eons. Really disappointed in the leaks surrounding the upcoming Pixel 11, I swapped to S26 Ultra cause T Mobile had a KILLER deal. I'm loving the phone!!

Anyway, last Galaxy watch I had was Galaxy Watch 5. It was mid. When I got my most recent Pixel, I got the Pixel Watch 3, which I've loved. I think it looks better than the watch 5 and is significantly more performant.

I'm not a super big health guy to be really honest, so I don't care if I'm on Fitbit or Samsung Health or whatever. But with the announcement of the Galaxy Watch 9, I'm wondering if it's worth swapping - but also this thing is damn expensive lol.

So yeah idk - am I losing anything meaningful by staying on Pixel watch? I still think the Pixel Watch looks nicer than the Galaxy Watch, though the Watch 9 does look nice. Anyone in a similar position? Any thoughts on which watch is better, or if the difference is even worth the money at all?

S26 Ultra Thoughts?

Hey dudes,

Last Samsung I had was the S20. Gotta be honest - wasn't impressed. I've been a Pixel guy basically since they came out, with that S20 being the exception.

There are some things that have started to bug me about pixel. Android auto kinda sucks. Phone gets hot. Battery doesn't last. Things like that.

That said, pixel software and the look of it is VASTLY superior to Samsungs, or at least it was during my last Samsung experience. And I have pixel accessories - the watch and buds and all. I also like that pixel offers a smaller screen size.

But those problems, combined with the fact that t mobile is having a pretty insane deal on the s26 Ultra where I'll be able to get it for almost nothing, makes me think of upgrading. I just don't want to have a phone I dislike for 2 years.

What do you think? Should I wait for the Pixel 11? I feel like we already know what it's going to be. I want a phone that feels easy to use and doesn't have so many compromises, but Samsung has never felt that way to me - sadly, neither does my Pixel 9. Just would love some thoughts.

Switch 2 Controller Settings?

Hey, so I played on Switch 2 and PS5 - Switch 2 felt way worse as far as aiming and stuff goes. I'm assuming it's due to the controller settings. I know switch has gyro - kinda on the fence about whether or not I'll use that, but that aside, I'd like to get the sticks on my Pro Controller for Switch 2 to feel the same way it feels on PS5. Any suggestions?

Is the Switch 2 Edition really that bad?

Really stoked to FINALLY play this series in 60fps. Been waiting to jump in until I knew the whole series was getting a revamp, and with the direct today now I know it is. I have XCX Switch 2 edition and just haven't gotten to it yet, but now I'm kinda stoked to.

It's hard for me to know if the griping about the upgrade is legit. I understand the upgrades for the other games look better, but I don't know if this game is actually that bad in handheld or if it's reddit freaking out about something small. Any thoughts? Is this worth playing now?

H Gate Support

Hey guys, thinking of picking up this game, I have a G923 and the RS h shifter. I love the shifter and wanna continue using it. I played iracing a bit a while ago and I couldn't use the H shifter with the Mazda it had me running in. I'm assuming that's cause that car doesn't have gearbox shifting.

Anyway, if I were to play this game I'd get into using sports cars for road racing as quickly as possible, and I'd wanna use my h Gate as that's a large part of what I find fun about sim racing. Are there options for me? Or is this a case where modern realism would make my shifter mostly unusable and therefore I'm better off elsewhere?
