Amanda Waller 1v1ing Granny Goodness [Suicide Squad Vol 1 (1987) #34]
It's so cool, but so funny at the same time to watch her duke it out with Granny Goodness. Like, it's like watching Daredevil punch above his weight, but even more extreme.
Highkey, I think Absolute Cheetah is actually a perfect visual representation of what a Skindancer should look like.
Like, genuinely, the way they made Cheetah look so unnatural and malformed, like her body was twisted and forced into a shape it wasn't meant to have and the way Barbara's skin seems to stretch and comfort in and around the beast portions of her body just really fits super well with how I imagined what such a horrific ritual could produce. A Kinfolk so desperate for the power they were denied that they'd twist themselves into an abomination to do it.
I'm stuck. Where's the key? I can't find it anywhere.
reddit.comWhat are your thoughts on My Adventures with Captain America? [done by me]
[Absolute Green Arrow #3 Spoilers] Lowkey think I have a bit of an out there guess on who the Longbow hunter might be.
I think the latest issue is alluding to the possibility that it's Emiko Queen. The fact she exists at all implies that Robert still met and had sex with Shado at some point in his life. I think it's entirely possible that she got the training needed to become a killer and that she's trying to avenge her brother with her killing spree.
A collection of some designs from a Science Fantasy project I'm working on.
In order:
Captain Rykard - The antagonist of my story. He's meant to be a pirate/brigand, traveling the skies attacking and capturing ships traveling between lands.
Sir Lionel - Grandmaster of the Order of the Azure Skies. Leader of the chivalric order of his realm and former mentor to the protagonist.
Dame Arisia - A young, prodigious knight. She's one of the most skilled knights in the realm and has the potential to be one of the greatest her order has ever seen, but lacks the wisdom and patience to reach that potential.
Edrick - A young Squire fresh out of training who has yet to earn his armor. He's a fresh, young boy who's never seen a real fight and staunchly sticks to the rules as if they were written in stone. He was assigned to Arisia to teach her patience and to teach him flexibility, much to her chagrin.
[Absolute Green Lantern #16 Spoilers] Who is the giant dude in the background?
Rykard, an antagonist for a project I'm working on.
[Absolute Green Lantern #15 Spoilers] So, I'm not the only one who thinks he looks like a Manhunter, right?
[Absolute Flash #15 Spoilers] So, what do you guys think happened to Cyborg?
Aquaman Fancast for the DCU [Plus a Loose Concept For How I Think It Should Play Out]
KJ Apa [Riverdale, A Dog's Purpose, One Fast Move] as Aquaman
Isaac Arellanes [Ghostwriter, My Life With The Walter Boys, A Million Miles Away] as Aqualad I [Garth]
Lili Reinhart [Riverdale, Forbidden Fruits] as Mera
James McAvoy [X-Men: First Class, Split, Wanted] as The Thirst
Nathan Stewart-Jarett [Misfits, Culprits, Azrael] as Black Manta
Morris Chestnut [Watson, The Brothers, The Best Man] as Vulko
Directed by: Robert Rodriguez or Gore Verbinski
Basic concept here is that Aquaman, who'd be in his late 20s here, is a few years into his superhero career and is coming fresh off of what was essentially the worst year of his life. Black Manta killed his infant son, brutalized his wife, and dismembered his hand. It's left him a fundamentally bitter and isolated person who's effectively disappeared from the world and abandoned his responsibilities for the past several months. There have been brief sightings on occasion of a man appearing from the ocean, attacking drug smugglers and pirates in the Pacific, but other than that, he's become a ghost. The story would follow a loose adaptation of the 2003 run, where, after suffering grievous injuries, he's rescued by the Lady of the Lake and healed with the waters of the Secret Sea. The story would basically follow him learning to accept his loss and move forward so that he can become the hero the world needs him to be and stop The Thirst from draining the rivers of the Earth and destroying all life in the Secret Sea. The emotional core of the film would also be about Aquaman reconciling with his grief and gradually working to repair his relationships with his wife, his friends, and the kingdom he's neglected.
I get it. He's Batman's nemesis. But I feel like this universe is a perfect opportunity to let other villains shine, especially since this version is apparently meant to be campier and more fantastical. I think focus should be placed on characters like Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, Ra's Al Ghul, and other major members of his Rogues Gallery. I think the Joker has genuinely been oversaturated in Batman media as of late.
This is probably my personal favorite Damian Wayne storyline, and I consider it probably his best development as a character since it was probably one of the first times when he really struck out on his own and started recognizing the pain he'd left behind in the world during his time as an assassin. I think it could easily work as a mini-series after BATB, where he goes off on a solo adventure without Batman to "earn his place" before he can come back. What do you guys think?
