Looking for ideas and feedback

I’m developing a dark fantasy action comic called Hellbreaker. It follows Charles Vale, a devil and the son of Lucifer who works on Earth as an occult mercenary. After being manipulated into killing an angel, Charles becomes hunted by both Heaven and Hell. When the conflict takes away the woman he loves, he decides to stop running, invade Hell, and destroy his father’s kingdom.

I’m still developing the mythology, characters, and story arcs, so if the premise gives you any ideas—villains, locations, twists, supernatural rules, or anything else—feel free to share them.

If the concept interests you and you’d like to collaborate on developing ideas, feel free to DM me

The Girl Next Door (2004)

I watched The Girl Next Door and one of the things that really stuck with me was the chemistry between Matthew and Danielle.

I don’t even mean just the romantic scenes — there’s something about the way they interact throughout the movie that makes the relationship feel genuinely believable. The awkwardness, flirting, arguments, and quieter moments all work really well together. Emile Hirsch and Elisha Cuthbert just seem to bounce off each other naturally.

Feedback Wanted on My Comic Project — WHAT REMAINS

Hey everyone, I’m currently working on a comic project called WHAT REMAINS.

It’s a grounded post-collapse / alternate-history sci-fi story that focuses more on characters, survival, relationships, and a world that feels genuinely lived-in rather than a typical over-the-top apocalypse.

I’ve attached the first 4 pages of Issue #1, which introduce 10-year-old Ryan Lance and his father Logan through a pretty simple scene: Ryan trying to repair an old motorcycle while Logan pushes him to figure out his mistakes himself.

I’m looking for feedback on the script — dialogue, pacing, panel descriptions, characters, whether the opening grabs you, anything that feels awkward, etc. Don’t be afraid to criticize it.

What if Andrew Garfield actually got the symbiote

I’ve always felt Andrew’s Peter was the perfect Spider-Man to explore a full black suit arc. Unlike the other live-action versions, he already carried years of unresolved grief and guilt.

Imagine TASM 3 picking up after Gwen’s death, with Peter bonding to the symbiote. Instead of making him evil overnight, it slowly convinces him that killing his enemies is the only way to stop losing the people he loves.

A fight with Harry could’ve been—Peter pinning him against a wall, completely overpowering him.

I genuinely think Andrew would’ve delivered one of the darkest and most emotionally compelling black suit stories we’ve seen on screen.

Looking for a Comic Artist to Build a Universe Together

I’m a writer with a passion for creating original superhero stories, and I’m looking for an artist who’d genuinely enjoy building a long-term comic universe together.

I’ll be upfront: I don’t have money to pay an artist right now.

I’m not looking to exploit anyone—I simply can’t afford to hire someone at the moment. If you’re interested because you love the concept and want to create something together, I’d love to talk.

To be completely honest, I care much more about bringing this universe to life than making money. If this ever became successful, I’m open to giving the artist the larger share—or even all of the profits if that’s what feels fair. My goal is to create something we’re both proud of.

The first story follows Alex Rivera, a 16-year-old boy from a struggling neighborhood called Hollow Creek. After discovering an abandoned underground laboratory beneath his city, he’s infected by an experimental bat pathogen that transforms him into a terrifying man-bat creature.

Unlike most superhero stories, this isn’t about becoming famous or admired. Alex saves people, but everyone fears him. While he’s powerful at night, during the day he’s just a broke teenager trying to help his overworked mom, survive high school, and stop a corporation that has been secretly experimenting on his neighborhood for years.

The tone is grounded, dark, emotional, and character-driven, with a mix of superhero action, horror, mystery, and urban drama. Think atmospheric cities, corporate conspiracies, tragic villains, and a hero who’s constantly fighting to hold onto his humanity.

Okay... who the hell actually MAKES the One Wish Willow? 😭

This has been living rent-free in my head ever since watching Obsession.

Seriously...

Who creates the One Wish Willow in the first place?

Is there some supernatural company manufacturing them?

Who distributes them around the world?

Is there a warehouse full of these things somewhere?

Is there a CEO?

Who was the customer service guy ?

Should Inde Navarrette return as Nikki for a cameo in an Obsession sequel?

I think a short, unsettling scene could give the sequel a strong connection to the original while showing how much Nikki has changed since the ending.

Would you like to see Nikki return, or should the sequel tell a completely separate story?

Projection — the parents use the Willow to force their daughter into the life they chose for her

No AI image this time since people hated that on my last post. This is just a discussion post, and I actually took time to write the idea out properly.

Instead of following another person who uses the One Wish Willow to get love, this story would explore parents using it to control their child’s future.

The main character is a teenage girl who is reaching the point where she has to decide what she wants to do with her life. She may want to study art, filmmaking, music or something else her parents consider unstable. Her parents have already designed what they believe is the perfect future for her: a respected university, a secure profession, the right social circle and eventually the kind of family they expect her to have.

They eventually obtain a One Wish Willow.
Rather than telling their daughter about it, they secretly wish for her to become the person they believe she is “supposed to be.”

To summaries: In Projection, two parents use a One Wish Willow to force their teenage daughter into the future they chose for her. The girl fights to remain herself, the father is killed as the family collapses, and the guilty mother visits Nikki in prison for help. Nikki warns that either the original wisher must die or another wish must oppose it. The mother chooses a second wish, but the two contradictory identities destroy her daughter, ending with the mother realizing that neither parent ever allowed the girl to decide who she wanted to be.

I’m developing a superhero comic called The Blackridge Bat — here’s the cover and opening page

Hey everyone, I’ve been working on an original comic called The Blackridge Bat: Something Under Hollow Creek.

It follows Alex Rivera, a withdrawn young photographer living in Blackridge City who discovers something buried beneath Hollow Creek—something connected to abandoned biomedical facilities, the city’s history, and eventually to him.

Just to address the obvious question immediately: yes, the artwork is AI-generated. I’m not claiming that I drew it, and I’m not trying to mislead anyone. I’m a writer and storyteller, not a professional illustrator. Hiring an artist for an entire comic at professional rates is currently far beyond what I can afford, so I’m experimenting with AI as a compromise that allows me to visualize the story, develop the atmosphere, and actually bring the project into existence.

I completely respect the skill and time that real comic artists put into their work. My main focus here is the writing, characters, dialogue, world-building, panel direction, and overall concept. I still plan every page and describe what should happen in each individual panel before creating the visuals.

These images are the cover and opening page of Issue #1. The comic is intended to be a grounded gothic mystery with elements of body horror, urban fantasy, conspiracy, and coming-of-age drama.

criticism is welcome. I’m still learning and developing the project, but I’m excited to finally start sharing it.

I made my first analog horror VHS tape and would love Some feedback

I recently posted the first tape of my analog horror VHS project on TikTok, but it didn’t really reach the audience I was hoping for. So I decided to post it here instead, since Reddit usually has people who actually understand and appreciate this type of horror.

This is Tape 1 of a fictional found-footage / police-evidence style series I’m working on. I’m still developing the tone, pacing, VHS look, and overall mystery, so I’d genuinely appreciate honest feedback.

I made my first analog horror VHS tape. I’d love some feedback

Hey everyone

I’ve been working on an analog horror project inspired by old VHS police evidence tapes, found footage, and 90s forensic documentaries. I just finished Tape 1 and wanted to get some honest opinions from people who actually enjoy this genre.

I’m trying to build a long-form mystery told through recovered police tapes, so any criticism—positive or negative—is genuinely appreciated.

Here’s Tape 1:

I’m writing a dark psychological crime-horror story on Wattpad called The Dollmaker — would love feedback from horror readers

just started posting my psychological crime-horror story The Dollmaker on Wattpad.

It’s about a series of horrifying cases where unborn children are taken from mothers, leading into a dark mystery surrounding an old hospital, missing patients, and a calm, terrifying killer known as The Dollmaker.

It’s written like a mature horror graphic novel in prose form — disturbing, cinematic, emotional, and mystery-heavy.

I’d love feedback from horror readers.
