I'm going to Mexico soon for 3 days and I'll be flying into Cancún. I'm trying to decide whether I should stay in Playa del Carmen or Tulum.

I'm not really into partying. My main goal is to switch off, relax, enjoy the beaches, eat good food, and explore a bit.

Since they're only about an hour apart, I'm thinking I could easily do a day trip to Tulum if I stay in Playa del Carmen, or vice versa if I stay in Tulum.

So I'd love to hear your opinions:

• If you only had 3 days, which one would you choose as your base?
• Which one is generally cheaper (hotels, restaurants, transportation, etc.)?
• If I stay in Playa del Carmen, is a day trip to Tulum enough? Or is it worth staying in Tulum instead?
• Which place feels more relaxing if your goal is to disconnect rather than party?
• Any areas or hotels you'd recommend staying in (or avoiding)?

Je suis actuellement chez Pacifica et je paie 35 €/mois pour une assurance PNO + Garantie Loyers Impayés (GLI).

Je me demande si je ne paie pas trop cher. Est-ce que certains d'entre vous ont trouvé des contrats équivalents, avec de bonnes garanties, pour moins cher ?

Je cherche surtout :

• une GLI fiable (prise en charge des loyers impayés sans galère),
• une PNO correcte,
• le meilleur rapport qualité/prix.

Hi everyone,

I would appreciate your opinion on a situation I recently experienced with Qatar Airways Privilege Club.

Earlier today, I booked an award ticket using 60,000 Avios for a friend who urgently needed to travel from Tokyo to Dubai. He had been injured and needed to travel on short notice.

Unfortunately, after the booking was made, it became clear that he would not be able to reach the airport in time due to complications related to his situation. As soon as I knew he wouldn't be able to travel, I cancelled the booking.

The issue is that the cancellation was made approximately 2 hours and 59 minutes before the scheduled departure time. As many of you know, Qatar Airways generally requires award bookings to be cancelled at least 3 hours before departure to have the Avios refunded.

To make things even more frustrating, the flight itself was running slightly late, so in reality I was very close to the 3-hour cutoff.

The booking and cancellation both happened on the same day, and the seat was released back into inventory almost immediately.

Has anyone here had success obtaining a goodwill exception in a similar situation? Do you think Qatar Airways is likely to consider reinstating the 60,000 Avios as a one-time gesture of goodwill, especially for a loyal customer?

Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I’d love to get some honest feedback from people who are already in the online business / creator economy space.

Over the last 5 months, I built a digital business in the travel niche (helping people fly business class using miles & points), and the business generated a bit over €50k in revenue.

The model is mostly:

• digital products
• online education
• content marketing
• organic social media
• funnels
• personal brand

What’s important is that this business is still running successfully today — I’m not “pivoting because it failed.”

Now I want to build a second brand focused on helping people create and sell profitable digital products online.

BUT…

I really don’t want to become another generic “business coach” talking about mindset, Lamborghinis, and vague entrepreneurship advice.

My idea is to position myself more specifically around:

• digital products
• simple online businesses
• helping beginners start without a big audience
• building profitable digital businesses with content + offers

So more like:

I’m also planning to stay premium/high-ticket:

• low-ticket ebook or mini-course for entry
• main offer around €1k–€1.5k with coaching/community/accountability

Content-wise, I’d focus heavily on:

• proof
• case studies
• behind the scenes
• Stripe/PayPal dashboards
• content systems
• offer creation
• audience building
• lifestyle (but not fake guru style)

My main concern is:
Do you think “digital products” is a strong enough niche/vehicle for a premium/high-ticket brand long term?

Or do you think the market eventually forces you into becoming a broader “business coach”?

Would genuinely appreciate honest opinions from people already in this space.

• J’ai commencé une activité en décembre en auto-entreprise (vente de produits digitaux)
• Je fais environ 5 000€ de chiffre d’affaires (paiements via Stripe / PayPal)
• Je touche environ 1 400€ de chômage (ARE) par mois via France Travail
• J’ai omis de déclarer correctement mon activité et mes revenus à France Travail et à l’URSSAF depuis le début

Mes questions :

1) ARCE ou ARE ?

• Dans ma situation, qu’est-ce qui est le plus intéressant :
  • toucher l’ARCE (capital en 2 fois)
  • ou continuer l’ARE mensuelle (1 400€/mois) en déclarant mon activité ?
• Est-ce que ça change selon mon niveau de CA actuel (≈ 5k) ?

2) Risques :

• Qu’est-ce que je risque concrètement en cas d’oubli de déclaration ?
• Est-ce que ça peut devenir une fraude si je corrige maintenant ?

3) Revenus Stripe / PayPal :

• Est-ce que les revenus via Stripe / PayPal sont automatiquement détectés ?
• Comment ça se passe niveau contrôle réel en France ?

Objectif :

Je veux être 100% en règle, éviter les problèmes, et comprendre la meilleure stratégie entre :

Since December I've made around €21,500 from scratch. First with a €30-40 ebook, then since February with a €600 course. 28K TikTok followers, 4,500 on Instagram.

What worked so far : viral videos with price-shock hooks, a influencer who promoted me and brought in a ton of clients, and occasional promotional emails to my list.

My problem now : I'm running out of steam. Organic reach is dropping, fewer leads, fewer calls, fewer sales. I've had 120 discovery calls since February with only 22 course sales — 18% closing rate.

I had a call with a business coach who charges €4,000 for coaching. He advised me to run Meta ads, improve my funnel, work on my closing skills and create a premium offer.

My question : is it really worth €4,000 ? Or with enough discipline can I execute all of this myself ?
