Has anyone bought Provence jewelry from their Alibaba website?

Has anyone bought Provence jewellery from their Alibaba website?

I’m eyeing a jewellery piece there and asked my rep but they came up with a quote higher. There is over $250 difference so it is quite substantial.

Crawler earrings

Anyone here keen to have some crawler earrings for group buy. Maybe something like these?

I’d be interested if anyone would like to have custom made crawler earrings. I think the would be good for helix or the usually ear lobe piercings.

Alibaba pay

Hi! Just wanted to check those who’ve ordered with Provence if the payment request came from Alibaba and Wuzhou Qianao is the company which they send the money to?

Making the payment now and just wanted to double check as it’s my first time dealing with overseas vendor.

Edit to confirm it’s Provence

How would you rate these lab rubies?

Planning to have these rubies for earrings. I wanted to have vibrant red in colour but at the same time it’s quite close to pigeon blood.

Would love to know if I bite the bullet and order these from the jeweller.

Thanks

Business class is it really worth it???

Serious question… what is it really with business class on long-haul flights? 😂

Is it genuinely worth it?

I can people actually survive 10 hours in cattle class, arrive a bit crumpled, and keep an extra £15k in your pocket for a family of four? That’s a whole holiday… or at least enough to emotionally recover from economy.

We’re going to Singapore and planning to fly direct and in tow are 2 toddlers. I sometimes feel I don’t want to even try booking business class as I don’t know how my kids would be in that 12 hour flight. I might end up getting too stressed when they can disturb other passengers.
I wouldn’t mind that if we were with other plebs as there are others with younger families too.

Convince me I’m wrong.

Place to mooch around and somewhere to eat in Westminster

I’m swearing allegiance to UK tomorrow at 2pm at the Westminster council nonetheless!

Any place or food places to go near that area?
Love to see architecture, unusual non touristy places to visit.

Thanks

AIO Landscaper keeps on postponing to fix the mess he made

I had my patio landscaped over 3 years ago, then 6 months after the job was finished there were bad cracks on the tiles and they’ve separated leaving massive gaps.

The landscaper agreed to fix it but he kept on postponing citing severe health issues. Yet I can see he keeps on posting new jobs on his Facebook page.

He said he’ll come and fix the patio this September after flaking on me. AIO for being so pissed and commented on his fb on his most recent work to note that I’m sorry he’s having health conditions and that I hope he’s well enough to fix the issue in my patio?

I really hate it when someone lies to me.

What’s lifestyle like with toddlers whilst working long hours?

Highlighting the NRY

Whilst building our wealth, my partner and I find ourselves working long hours and constantly juggling nursery drop-offs and pick-ups.
Most weekdays are spent at home, as we collect our son around 5:30pm, just in time for tea, bath time, and bed.

How do others cope with the monotony of these days?

Before having a child, we were often out for drinks, dinner dates, and meeting friends. Since becoming parents to a toddler, we’ve found it extremely challenging to maintain this and frankly we’re exhausted after bed time.

We do go on holiday four times a year, so we get some quality time and a break from the routine. However, it’s the day-to-day life that worries me. I sometimes wonder whether we’re doing enough or if life has become too repetitive.

Our son has swimming and football classes at weekends, which helps, but the weekdays can still feel very samey.

Is anyone in the same situation?

How to gain confidence in driving alone after passing the exam?

I paased back in March but couldn’t quite muster up the courage to drive alone. I bought a car in April and since then I’ve been driving 6x a week with my partner, and he’s really impressed with my driving. But I still can’t seem to bring myself to drive completely on my own. I just don’t have enough confidence yet.

How did you guys do it? I’ve always been a nervous driver and was a first-time passer, but honestly it’s nerve-wracking when you know it’s just you in the car.

3/4day holiday in the UK with a toddler

I’m looking for 3 day holiday destination in the UK that would be good with a toddler.
We’re fairly fine as a family be it a city or rural/coast involves a safari/zoo kind of holiday.

Any recommendation for a nice b&b or hotel. Bonus points if can be driven from Essex.

Thanks.

When can you use the left hand lane when going straight on a round about?

For context I exited a round about and approached a new round about from the left lane as I wanted to go straight/2nd exit and have indicated past the 1st exit. When I was exiting the roundabout, I was beeped by the car behind me, it was in the right hand lane. He was no where near me when I exited. Partner is saying I should have stayed in the right lane as can be seen by the use of the road in the aerial view.

Is there a general rule on using left hand when going straight? In all my lessons unless I’m clearly going to the 3rd or 4th exit or when there are only 2 exits then I must be on the right hand lane otherwise, I stay in the left hand lane.

Perhaps I’m missing something here and it’s knocking my confidence to go back on the road.
