I have an RCA crt that’s near the new tv. When I turn on the TCL, it turns on the old crt. Anyway to change the remote codes?

Decided to stop in since it’s been a hot minute, wasn’t expecting to find anything but here we are! The Cracked Cobalt looks freaking awesome!

This is the drain under the kitchen in a finished basement. Noticed a hole in the ceiling that I now know was caused by a slow water leak from the drain. I cut out the drywall expecting the worse but find a very slow leak around one of the connections.

I’m guessing it wasn’t sealed correctly with cement? Trying to figure out the best way to fix this so I don’t have to deal with it again. This drain was replaced a few years back.

I read epoxy would work but again, temporary. Should I just call a plumber and have them fix it? Can I melt some pvc in cement and apply it around the joint?

Not sure how they are going to cut it out since there’s not much there to the left to reattach too.

So WTF is going on with the City and DPU bills? Get a new bill that is close to $300. Look at it and see last months wasn't paid. However autopay is setup and hasn't been an issue until recently where apparently last month's water bill wasn't paid? Even though autopay is setup and correct for the "new" account number.

What's the deal?? How is the city so fucking inept.

**UPDATE**:

Spoke to DPU yesterday and they acknowledged billing issues with the system. Advised turning off auto pay and set it up again.

Before I spoke to them, I paid my past due and current bill manually with the info I had on file in my account. Oddly, my account still shows I have not paid (has a balance), even though It shows as a line item, I paid and I received email confirmation I paid.

A few hours later, I get an email saying that autopay has been scheduled for August to the tune of $200 dollars. I am like WTF?!? So I go in and cancel that payment.

This morning, I get an email saying my bill is ready again, for the same past due and current bill amount.

Clearly their system is fucked and I would advise everyone who has auto pay, delete it until they fix their system otherwise you're going to get billed and good fucking luck trying to get that money back from the city!

DPU is a complete shit show - again, years and years and years later. Hey AVULA - get your head out of FLOCKS ass and stop doing bulk buys and fix your fucking infrastructure systems instead. Fucking clown

I purchased this set and learned the main disc had issues and ordered a replacement. It took months to arrive and by that time I just put it away to deal with later. At this time, all my movies were in a cabinet double stacked so hard to see everything. I recently purchased some shelves and now everything is out and visible.

Long story short, I went to put the replacement disc in the Titanic case and noticed the original disc has the titanic picture printed on it and the replacement disc is printed black and just says Titanic. Why did they do that? It looks like crap next to the other disk that also has a picture on it :(

Had this lamp for a while. It did show up cloudy but I filtered it. It heats up and mostly stays as a blob about 3-4” from the bottom and releases a couple small balls and that’s it. Is it not getting hot enough or is there something else going on?

Never owned a globe that was painted or had the ombré effect. Is it normal to have some streaking/splotch in them? How long do they last, meaning, will the paint eventually flake off from all the cold/hot?

Got everything setup just fine. Running a container on my NAS back to Cloudflare. It updates my domain with my public ip whenever it changes. Added a CNAME for my subdomains and all set! Subdomains take me to my game server of choice! All updated automatically.

Love it!

Currently with Namecheap and using their dyndns client to map two subdomains to a server. My domains expire soon and going to move them to Spaceahip since it’s much cheaper. No dyndns client there.

So I was reading about adding the Cloudflare dyndns update via Synology. Is it possible to do what I want through Synology? Want to update my public ip whenever it changes, automatically and make sure subdomain.domain.com gets routed to my server like it is now.
