Can I switch to Econ and Mgmt before coming to college?
I don’t meet the criteria for Econ and Management, currently accepted an offer for pure Management, do y’all think they will let me switch, also is it better to come switch it in uni - as in, are the chances more?
How are reputed courses in WBS in clearing?
I was going through the list of courses that entered clearing 2026 at Warwick and found out many courses which are presumed to be oversubscribed like A&F and Management are in it as well.
Aren't they supposed to be super-hard to get into and have high grade requirements? Aren't they in demand and sort out after? Why are they in clearing? Does this mean they aren't worth going?
Is Warwick Mgmt worth it?
Should I stay in India bro. I don't know. I wanna get a job. I have good grades and good cv. I'm confident I'll be able to make a good profile. Is that enough to get a job?
What's the reputation of University of Warwick in India?
my_qualifications:
Passed grade 12th
Got into Bsc Mgmt in WBS
I just wanted to know, when you hear someone is from Warwick, what do you think about it? I know it's not as reputed as Oxbridge or LSE, but I wanted to know where it stood. Please don't give me Google responses but how you actually feel
Please help me decide
I got into Warwick Business School
Context; I'm Indian, got into BSc Management, and had a few questions regarding Warwick. I'm already enrolled at an Indian university, and wanted to know if going to Warwick is worth it.
For anyone curious, I'm enrolled at St. Xaviers College Kolkata.
For every question that I'm asking, please answer on the basis of the fact that I'm a median candidate from Warwick with median performance
How realistic and good are consulting placements in Warwick
For someone who wishes to persue MBA from the US, is Warwick a good brand?
What's bad about Warwick except the city?
If you were to put Warwick in a tier for Business Schools in Europe and UK, what would be the tier?
What US College is WBS equivalent to?
Expect finances, is there any other factor which I should consider if preferring Xavier's over WBS?
Thanks!
Please help me decide

NMIMS Econ or St. Xaviers' Cal B.Com
I am trying to decide between NMIMS Mumbai B.Sc. Economics (Hons.) and St. Xavier's College Kolkata B.Com (Hons.), and I would appreciate some unbiased advice.
My long-term goal is to pursue a top MBA abroad (e.g., M7, LBS, INSEAD, etc.), so I am looking for a college that will help me build the strongest overall profile rather than simply obtain my first job after graduation.
The factors that matter most to me are:
• Access to high-quality internships, particularly in consulting, finance, strategy, and startups.
• Opportunities to participate in national and international case competitions, business events, leadership positions, and networking opportunities.
• Strong brand value and reputation that will be recognized by recruiters and MBA admissions committees.
• Good placements as a backup option if I decide to work before pursuing an MBA.
• Exposure to ambitious peers and a strong professional ecosystem.
I currently live in Kolkata. While I would prefer to study outside Kolkata and experience a new city, I am willing to stay if the advantages of St. Xavier's are significantly greater.
Given these priorities, which option would you choose and why? More importantly, which college would likely provide the better platform over the next 3-5 years for someone aiming to build a strong profile for top MBA programs and competitive consulting/finance careers?
When are the results coming
When are CUET-UG final marks and marksheet coming?
How do I (18M) know if my situationship (21F) wants to date me?
TL;DR: I've been talking to a woman I met on a dating app for about a month. We get along very well, talk for hours almost every day, and there seems to be some mutual interest. She recently opened up about painful experiences from past relationships and boundary violations, which has made me want to be especially thoughtful about how I approach things. I'll be leaving for college in a month or two and am not sure I'm looking for a serious long-term relationship, but I do want something meaningful and honest. I'm wondering how to talk to her about what I'm looking for and how to move things forward without making her uncomfortable or creating mismatched expectations.
I don't want to include too many details because there's a chance she'll figure out that I'm asking strangers on the internet about our situation, and that would be awkward.
We've been talking for almost a month now. I met her on a dating app, and one of the first things I learned about her was that she's Muslim while I'm Hindu. Initially, I thought that might become an issue, but she seemed fairly relaxed about it, and I'm not a particularly religious person myself, so it wasn't something I focused on much.
We've gone on a few dates so far, but the first one stood out to me. We met for lunch, and the conversation flowed easily. Since then, we've spoken every day, and calling each other has become part of our routine. It's not unusual for us to spend hours talking.
Recently, she's started opening up about some difficult experiences from past relationships. It's only been a few months since her last relationship ended. She also told me about someone she became interested in afterward. From what she shared, she felt she could trust him, but at some point he crossed boundaries in a way that left her feeling frightened and hurt. Understandably, that experience seems to have had a significant impact on her.
She told me that she had been clear about where she stood emotionally and what she was looking for at the time. From her perspective, those boundaries weren't respected, and the situation became very distressing for her.
When she told me all of this, I listened and tried to be supportive. Since then, though, I've found myself wondering how to interpret what she's sharing with me. It's possible she was simply opening up about an important part of her life, but I also wonder whether it might reflect where she currently is emotionally when it comes to dating.
The complicated part is that I'm still figuring out what I want as well. In a month or two, I'll be leaving for college. For the time I have left here, I'd like to continue spending time with someone I enjoy being around and feel connected to. At the same time, I'm not sure I'm looking for a highly committed long-term relationship right now. What appeals to me is something meaningful and mutually understood, without necessarily rushing to define it.
Eventually, I'd like to communicate that to her. I don't want to bring it up too quickly, but I also don't want to avoid the conversation indefinitely.
The truth is that I don't know whether she'd be interested in something along those lines. Based on our interactions, it seems like we both enjoy talking to each other and spending time together, but I don't want to assume more than that.
Lately, we've started sending each other somewhat flirtatious reels. I often send them first, and she usually responds positively. Occasionally she'll send one as well, though I'm aware that people can interpret those kinds of interactions differently.
We're planning to meet again next week. Part of me wonders whether there might be an opportunity to take a step forward if things continue to feel comfortable and natural. At the same time, after hearing about some of her past experiences, I want to be thoughtful about how I approach things and avoid making assumptions about what she's comfortable with.
My instinct is to let things develop at a pace that feels comfortable for both of us. If anything physical happens, I want it to be something we both clearly want. At the same time, I sometimes worry about being so cautious that I avoid having honest conversations about where we stand.
That's the situation I'm in.
Apart from that, things between us have been genuinely great. We talk almost every night, often for five or six hours at a time. We've learned a lot about each other's interests, opinions, experiences, and personalities in a relatively short period of time.
Overall, it feels like we both value the connection we've built.
I'm trying not to read too much into things, but I also don't think I'm imagining the fact that we seem to enjoy each other's company.
I'm looking for advice on how to navigate this relationship. How should I approach the conversation about what I'm looking for, and how can I move things forward without making her uncomfortable or creating expectations that may not align with what either of us wants?
I, 18M, going on my first ever date tomorrow with 21F, need to know what all is expected?
Context: Both of us are Indian, I'm Hindu and she's Muslim but I don't think either of us care about religion. We met on a dating app, where I made my profile as soon as I turned 18 because I was curious. I have dated two girls before (one in for a month and one for nine months) so I know what to expect from girls my age, but she's 3 years older.
I have never once been on a proper date with someone I barely know before, and don't know how comfortable to get. She keeps on calling me a baby on chat in a teasing manner, which is fine by me but it makes me think if she's not into younger guys. As for us being interested in each other, we both right swiped so I think we feel that the other is attractive and has good interests. I've been speaking to her for 3 days nonstop (haven't called yet, only texts) and we talk till 5 in the morning.
She has specifically stated that we will call this a "casual outing" to which I laughed and brushed it off, but it makes me think that she's not coming with the intention of anything serious. This makes me confused about how much to flirt, how much to share and how much effort to put. Also, she mentioned that her favorite color is maroon, so I have thought of getting her a rose but I don't know if that is appropriate.
I'm really sorry I haven't written this in a structured way but any advice will truely be helpful. In case someone wants more context, please tell me what context is needed and I'll reply to your comment.
Context: Rejected from LSE and St. Andrews (?????) for management. Rejected from UCL for intl. management but got into this (I'm trying to mail admissions regarding transfers).
I don't know how to feel about city life, I see conventry is 2 hrs away from London while I feel like is not an issue because I'm used to travel huge distances (my house was 1.5 hours away from my hs, I traveled this distance everyday).
I'm really interested in strategy consulting, I've participated in alot of case competitions, and I've a ton of experience with college-level events. I wish to get a job in the UK in consulting, want a college that's not VERY academic, and has reputed societies. I also wish to explore sports like fencing.
I care alot of brand name, but the major UCL has offered is kinda shit. That's my biggest concern. What to do?
Applied for intl. Management, they asked me to choose this, I didn't have an option so I did, got an offer. Literally had nothing regarding Italian in my PS, and now I'm confused.
I wanna get into consulting, and this course is half management, but I don't have a justification to study this course. My other offers are Warwick and Kings Management. What to firm and insure?
