hi. I dont understand how to use the pattern sequencer on my sp404a.I have a drum sample that i cant figure out the bpm off. Then when i try to record a 4 bar loop of the drum that is way off the tempo the loop will stop, even though i have set the pad with the drum break to loop. I hope this makes somewhat sense

I was listening to air guitar today. And i noticed that right at the start of his first verse(after so many leaks in my big watch or whatever) The perc goes into the sound of a girl moaning. This moan has been used by devon hendryx in neon kitchen(the "Ohh god") so if we know where that is from we might be able to find it.

on a subreddit for underground music i saw a post by the guy who made that beat. I have now send him a dm, asking about devon lore.

hi. JPegmafia made an album with the sp404sx and i think that is really fucking inspiring. So i went and got a sp404a. But how the hell do you make melodies with this machine?! resampling is obvious, but the pitch effect is so wonky. Could anyone give some insight?

I’ve always noticed this trend among music snobs where they create this narrative that you start out as a hip-hop fan, but as you get more into music, you eventually dismiss hip hop as a genre. I’ve always scoffed at it because it’s pretentious as fuck. But now it’s kind of happening to me.
