T30 MBA Chances, 326 GRE, 3.0 GPA
Hi everyone, I’m looking for an honest profile review for U.S. T30 MBA programs.
Profile:
32, North African, applying from Canada.
GRE: 326 — V163, Q165, AWA 4.0.
Converted GPA: around 3.0/4.0 from a Moroccan/French /20 grading system.
Education: undergrad in planning + specialized master’s in geospatial/space science/surveying
Work experience:
Started in Morocco with ~3 years in telecom engineering/design for consulting firms. Moved to Canada and worked ~1 year at a utilities/telecom startup in geospatial/network planning. Currently 2.5 years in the federal government housing sector, working in GIS/geospatial analysis, data products, internal tools, and decision support.
Post-MBA interests: strategy, product, infrastructure/urban tech, public-sector consulting, or geospatial/data-driven decision-making.
Do I have a realistic shot at T30 MBA programs? Would the GPA be a major issue, or does the GRE/international grading context help? Also, do I have any chance at meaningful scholarships, since full U.S. tuition would be hard to afford? I currently make around 80k USD in Canada, but have good benefits and a really good pension. My goal is to move the US but not sure if I have any blind spots with my plan.
