Double item ordered in home delivery, can I return it while it's delivered tomorrow?

So I made a big order and accidentally ordered two of the same table, can I return one while it's being delivered to my apartment? Ikea is so far from me, I don't really want the headache and the space it would take.

Thoughts on the SALTMYRAN couch?

Looking to buy an affordable sofa but still have comfort, bought a mainstays futon and it's not very comfortable. So looking to see if the ikea couch would be an upgrade.

What to put aside from a microwave in this area above my sink?

I don't really need a microwave but don't want to leave this spot empty either.

Did anyone only had a 3mm lefort 1 done and nothing else? Would love to hear from you and your experience.

I'm having my 3mm lefort 1 in two weeks and looking for some examples and experiences out there.

Surgery plan: 3mm upper jaw advancement, and crossbite fix on lower jaw. Initially surgeon wanted to perform a genioplasty as well but was just told it won't be necessary in my case. Any thoughts? Any hope of a visual improvement with just 3mm (the scan only show the bite improvement)

I'm having an upper jaw surgery (Lefort 1) 3mm with 3-5mm genioplasty, anyone had one or both done? Would love to hear about the experience and see before/after if possible. I'm worried it won't be enough.

I'm having an upper jaw advancement (Lefort 1), do I need a genioplasty as well?

I'm having the surgery planning tomorrow with my surgeon. He never brought up genioplasty as an option before and always said my chin and lower jaw looked good. Are doctors generally willing to do a genioplasty even if it's not "necessary"?

Also, happy to take any pointers. Initially the first doc I saw wanted to bring my lower jaw back. But all the professionals I saw before (dentist, ortho) said my nose and midface could use the support of a lefort 1, but I still got conflicting recommendations from my dentist last time I saw her. What do you think?

How much to shave off for surgery planning (not surgery day)

My surgery is for July 17th and I have to go Monday to do the planning. I was told briefly that I have to shave when I asked about it. I don't have long facial hair, it's like guard 2 length (6mm). Do I really have to shave it all for the planning or can I get by with guard 1 (3mm) or 2 guard length?

Thanks!

Which one of these two "new" affordable sofas would be better in terms of quality and look long term?

Not sure if these are totally new or in rotation but the price is enticing enough for me to consider them. Any thoughts?

Anything similar to this in terms of fit and material?

I'm fairly skinny and wear s/xs usually and have a really hard time finding well fitting clothes with my skinny and weak shoulders/frame. This t-shirt is the best fitting piece of clothing I've ever worn and feel really sturdy. I have a hard time finding anything similar on UA's website. Anyone knowledgeable enough to give me any pointers? Would also like something outside of UA/more casual if available. I like the fit, the length, the weight and feel of the fabric.

GIS Analyst to Data Scientist II Fears

I am a 31yo GIS professional working within the local government with 8+ years of experience. I have an internal interview coming for a Data Scientist II position. The pay and condition would be the same, aside from changing teams, and obviously the work I do. Now that I have the interview tomorrow, I am starting to second guess this move for a few reasons:

- First, while preparing for machine learning and technical questions, I have this growing fear that I will not be good enough for the position, especially since it's math and stats heavy and my coding/cs knowledge are very limited. And I will "lose" my GIS safety blanket, one that I am relatively comfortable with and allows me to be very comfortable speaking and during interviews and such. Which data science won't offer as if I ever want to leave, it would be hard competing against very established data scientists with strong backgrounds.

- Second, there are layoffs being executed lately and for the next 3 years, and this Data Scientist II position, although just created, could be in higher risk as it won't be an operational position, but more exploratory/research based.

Obviously, I applied for a reason, I think data science as a broader role, would offer me more flexibility in the future, especially in the future with AI/ML roles expanding and maturing, as well as a potentially higher salary ceiling (I say potentially as I'm in Canada and salaries are not that higher compared to GIS).

Do you think it's a good move considering the situation? Thanks!

Wise wallet risk

Hello, anyone has been using Wise to withdraw money? Are you using a business account? I read it's against their rules to receive payments for work on a personal account and there is a risk of account ban.

MRE in Canada, banking in Morocco

Hello, I got some extra income from freelancing for a US company and would like to send it directly to a Moroccan bank account, it will be automatically exchanged to MAD. Is there a limit on how much I can send to my account or anything that would raise flags or freeze the account at some point? Would like to hear some experiences.

Getting out of lease 20 days before moving in

Hello, I signed a lease a month ago and I just go a job offer way further in the city and the location doesn't make sense anymore for public transit. I found another apartment closer to work. Is there a way to get out of the lease quickly? I thought about telling my landlord that I want to transfer my lease, but this is so soon and there is only 20 days, I also thought of telling her I will move in with a dog/cat since she is against pets and we signed an agreement with no pets. I know it's not really nice of me, but I'm 100% she will find someone quick as the rent is cheap (she didn't increase after last tenant) and unit is clean and nice. Thanks!

Upper jaw surgery booked, do I djs/genioplasty too?

I've been doing an Invisalign treatment for the past year to prepare for the surgery. I have an underbite and both the surgeon and ortho agreed that it's my upper jaw that's recessed and needs to be brought forward. I also have a little horizontal offset between my upper and lower jaw, and my surgeon would see if it's worth touching the lower jaw to fix that as it could very easily offset again (by a couple/few millimeters). I always thought my jaw/chin were weak, and would love to get your opinion if a sliding genioplasty or even djs would benefit me aesthetically? They seem to think that my chin is perfectly fine as is. I would appreciate any feedback before my appointment to prepare for the surgery so I can know what to discuss or propose to the surgeon.

Dividends payment on January

Does the payment depends on how many months you were holding VEQT during the year? Say someone who holds it from January to December would get 100% and someone who only bought on June would get 50%?

Disgusting food ad

Who else saw that ad where they mid in ordinary skincare bottles, including the new caffeine serum in some kind of coffee desert/tiramisu? I always liked the ordinary for being simple and straight to the point. This ad was so off-putting and disgusting, also who wants to associate a fricking guilty pleasure dessert with skincare, the math ain't mathing😆
