I built a winter house for my cat

I guess it's technically carpentry and not woodworking, but I'm pretty happy with this little cat house I improvised along the way. I used hand tools from my partner.

I got in touch with a wood tile artisan for the roof, and he got excited about the project because he loves cats and he sent me some tiles he could not sell.

Because I didn't make any plans before starting the house turned out really big, but my cat seems to enjoy it nonetheless.

Cherry tree potential?

This is a little bit of an accidental bonsai. This was growing in a part of my garden for five years, and I kept cutting it back because it didn't look good in my flowers, until it hit me that it was a cherry tree. It grew parallel to the ground. I tried to remove it but ended up breaking a lot of roots, unfortunately. I put it in the pot in a random position (didn't have a bigger one, it has short branches with leaves outside of the frame of this pic). Some leaves have started to perk again after two weeks. Based on this picture, do you think it could become a bonsai if it survives?

I will keep it as a little tree if not a bonsai.

Avocado was struggling after a move, doing better with artificial light

This is a 6 years old avocado tree, it was doing well until I moved in a different city (different light, very dry flat, very hard water). Basically it was stagnating and only enjoying summer outside in the garden.

This year I ended up putting an old fish tank light above it and it grew so much in a couple of months. It has a lot of branches it's pretty cool. Wish I had thought about the light earlier! I get plenty of natural light on that window but clearly not enough.
