I suppose it’s just me but I do find the process of using GE really difficult. Maybe I’m too old.

Anyway we are flying into Seattle from London, in the air now and i opened the GE app and apparently there is a new app? I did manage to download it and create a new profile and password etc.with limited WiFi on my Delta Flight and was looking at the entry process which I‘m not supposed to do until we get to the port of entry I believe. I did also see that they require photographs? Do i need to take them of myself and my wife when we get to the airport? They don’t save the ones we took a few months ago? Is there anything else I should know to do now or when we get to the airport?

Shame on me but I should have noticed this earlier. I checked my points for Alaska Air Visa (Signature Card) and noticed that as far as I can see the points are there but did not count as status points. Since accruing status points are the only reason for using this card, do they not count towards my status for next year any longer? It couldn't be a timing issue since points have not accrued since the entire year. Do I not earn status points for using this card? Thanks so much and pardon my ignorance.

We were conditionally approved for Nexus but when we try to schedule an appointment- for a remote appointment, the calendar for appointments indicates no availability for months ahead. Is it true that they are all subscribed or perhaps I’m looking at it incorrectly? (If we want to schedule a personal interview it’s hours away from us). Thanks

Bought tickets from Seat Geek and have a confirmation of it on my FIFA World Cup app but on the App it still says "The ticket is not yet ready and will be activated on the day of the match" which is at noon today. Anyone know when this will be activated? Thanks

For anyone who attended the the first match yesterday in Seattle. Wondering if there were any hitches or delays in getting into the stadium. What time would you advise us to get there and get into the stadium. I will be going with my son on Friday. is it worth it to get there early to enjoy the atmosphere around the stadium. Thanks

Sorry if this has been covered. I am new to the subreddit. I have been having trouble getting emails from Yahoo since the transition. Tonight once again I'm without emails and I've spent hour on the phone with their agents who are untechnical and can't seem to help. is anyone else having these issues? or any solutions? I think my only other alternative is to cancel my entire package of services but I do use their cable services with I like. Thanks

Hi, Flying out to Seattle from JFK next week on the early non-stop and wondering if someone can give us some advice on approximately when you’d suggest arriving at the terminal. Since we last did this flight Alaska changed terminals (I believe it is now Terminal 8?) and we understand that there is construction around the airport. We will have bags to check but the advantage of checking in first class and TSA Pre if that helps. Thanks so much.

Pretty complicated but finally did purchase a resale WC ticket from a reseller a while ago and the tix were transferred, or at least partly, today. Wondering if anyone can help with something. I did transfer the ticket to myself from the buyer on Seat Geek and the FIFA site as required and see the actual ticket transfer was made today from the seller and did the transfer however after doing that while I see the ticket numbers I can't see the tickets themselves and the bar codes which will be required to enter the stadium. I have tried on my computer and iPhone. The match is not for another month and wondering if the actual tickets themselves may be transferred later closer to the match but I found no information in that regard. I did try Seat Geek customer service and the bot wan't very helpful. Thanks!

We will be returning a National rental car off at Newark that we rented in Pittsburgh and then would like to take a taxi from the rental center to midtown (NYC). Does this sound like an ok way to get to our hotel? Are there flat taxi fees from Newark to Manhattan? Thanks
