Remember kids “both sides are bad” is just intellectually lazy. Republicans are destroying anything they can.
Tested this one today. This lens is tiny but mighty. For $199 on a full frame Sony/Nikon this is probably one of the best low cost solutions if you pair it with the first gen a7R.
Shooting the same patch from f2.8 to f22 in full stop increments, 665nm filter, the only application was the color temp profile and lens distortion corrections.
The results are pretty much the same at 40mm as well across the entire aperture range. I can post those if anyone is interested.
it would appear this lens is pretty hot spot free at the full range from 2.8-8. I did notice that lightroom corrections are 100% necessary for the lens profile. First pic is at 35mm f4.
Unless my eyes are that bad and you all can tell me I'm crazy. First brick wall shots are at 35mm and are full stop increments from 2.8 to 8. Second set are at 70mm, same fstop pattern. All photos with the 850nm kolari drop in filter.
CC welcome

This is really my... 3rd real attempt at large scale focus stacking rather than just doing 4 or 5 in the field
Sometimes the planning doesn't work and where you set up ends up being the wrong angle to get a background that isn't garbage. I got the exact shot of the RWBB that I wanted but I was standing 30 feet from where I should have been to avoid having a street and fence in the background.
Bird photography is just as much about planning as it is the camera and glass.
John Galt is the true übermensch and Atlas needs to shrug.
Wondering if I should trade in or sell my 100-400gm since the 70-200 gm2 with the Viltrox tc seems to work so well.
