Hot take: Ren calling out Zeal’s behavior was a given. Zeal was innocent, yeah, but he was immature and people who say that Zeal is a saint is a lie.

As the title says, don’t act like Zeal has done anything wrong here. Yeah, at the end of it all, Zeal was innocent, but at some point his behavior had to be called out, even if it was through her interpretation of the events. Hell, even Zeal apologized about how he treated the situation. He apologized for his poor communication, blurring the boundaries, raising his voice at her, not being empathetic enough, and not handling the situation perfectly.

To quote what he said: “I recognize that I have not handled every part of this situation perfectly. I raised my voice at Ren... I could have communicated more clearly... I allowed boundaries to blur... For that, I am terribly sorry.”

Was the aftermath handled well? No. Everyone else just decided to leave him, including Gianni.

I get it, everyone else has different reactions to certain situations, and Zeal needed to take accountability at one point or another.

This doesn’t mean I can not be angry at Ren. Yes, she ruined her ex’s life, but here’s the thing that I can mention time and time again

She didn’t want Zeal to die. She just wanted him to take accountability. And Zeal did take accountability. He admitted that he was sorry for not handling the situation properly. But Ren altered the events in what she believed happened to her that it was basically damaging Zeal’s image. This does make both of them look bad, and it makes Ren look worse than Zeal, but regardless, I think Zeal needed this regardless of what people think. Because now he’s a better person and has grown to evolve.

Same with Ren. Ren has realized that being on the internet isn’t worth it anymore and has decided to leave social media. Of course, she comes back once in a blue moon, but then people would just constantly remind her of what she did

Which…seriously, guys? The damage has already been done, both of them have moved on, it’s time to let this go. Seriously.

Just because Zeal apologized doesn’t mean that everyone else has to apologize.

Wanna know why?

Because they all did what they thought was right at the time. Ren felt that she made the document because she wanted people to be aware of Zeal’s behavior. Gianni abandoned ship and sided with Ren because that’s what he felt was right at the time.

And yet, some of the community are acting like they’re pressuring them to change their minds.

You can be disappointed all you want, but you’re never going to change their minds, even after the situation has been cleared up.

That’s just the truth and the reality of the situation. When people think what they did was right, it’s pretty hard to convince them that they were in the wrong. Who knows? Maybe both Ren and Gianni did regret what they did, but that doesn’t mean that they’re going to change like that. You can’t expect change to happen immediately. Gianni might have been wrong and admitted it, but it won’t change his mind. And you can’t force him to change his mind.

You can be disappointed in him, but don’t act surprised when other people still keep him around in VA roles such as Gabriel from Ultrakill or Breadhead from Gaslight District

Because that implies that the community thinks that Gianni did something royally fucked up. Which in all reality, he didn’t.

He’s not going to get fired simply because of this. You may try, but it just isn’t going to work.

If the dev team is listening to this, listen up

ASTRA IS AN ADULT

Even if she’s not one, if she’s a teenager, then my point still stands. She has a right to goon. Do people have a right to call her out on it? Yeah! Do I think it’s worth booting people associated with that person? Hell no.

Unless they were a bad person, but Astra hasn’t done ANYTHING wrong.

Can we just have a dev team who decides to refuse to boot any one of their employees and refuse to remove any of their work? If I hired a dev team, I wouldn’t care if someone else in my team decided to donate to another game that’s inappropriate. If that’s what they’re into then it is what it is. If the community tells me to boot them, well

Cry harder, I guess

Can we get an actual serious situation that’s not completely fake and only exists just to bait people into making a response so you can make a “gotcha” moment?

I know that’s completely impossible, but still.

It doesn’t have to be a post about it or anything, it could just be a comment.

Just let’s have a discussion where AI has really affected somebody and the post is actually genuine instead of having people going like “lmao cope” or “lmao that’s bait”

Like do those people even care about the person or are they just so brain dead that they can’t understand how serious some of this shit can be

People who are angry are understandably so. But after what I’ve seen according to another indie game, the community lashing out is pretty immature

Seriously, you all need to chill out. The community making odd shitposts because of their wish for the Terraria Calamity mod to come back and wish death on Ozzatron

It was funny the first few times, but it eventually gets exhausting and annoying that the Calamity subreddit temporarily closed because people can’t just simply act appropriately.

Ozel is an irresponsible developer, yes, but acting rash and reckless isn’t doing anybody any favors. People have lives outside of gaming, and plus, after I’ve seen the situation that happened to Ozel and with Ozel releasing his counter-document

People just solely want the game, and for some people, this is highly disrespectful to a person’s personal life.

I get it, we all want Bite By Night to return, but if you only care about the game? That just seems disrespectful.

Ozel appearing in another game? Let him play on his own volition. Plus, Ozel is the Owner. In fact, it’s completely normal.

Ozel is allowed to play other games because he’s allowed to do whatever in his own free time. Games aren’t 24/7 manual labor.

But it does create massive community backlash because if underpaid workers see their boss lounging around playing other games while they’re struggling to fix a broken backend, then internal resentment builds up quickly, which leads to how YSH made allegations against Ozel.

TLDR: Ozel is an irresponsible owner, yes, but treating him like a slave who can’t have a personal life is highly disrespectful. Besides, Ozel is the owner, not a coder. Sure, sitting on your ass and watching your dev team wok on the game won’t fix it faster, but he’s not the one you should be angry at. But they can’t expect their players to sit in the dark. A community will be happy waiting out bug fixes and/or maintenance updates if you were just open and honest. Even if Ozel has a right to relax and play other games in their free time, respect and optics matter as well.

On one hand, the community is justified in demanding basic simple updates. But on the other, acting like this pretty much shows that some people only care about the product, not the person.

You can hide it with the excuse “but Ozel hasn’t responded properly or taken proper measures”. Sure, from an ethical standpoint, they are required to take proper measures if they want their project to survive. But the legal reality is: They don’t owe you shit. This is a free Roblox game with micro transactions that’s basically the gold standard at this point for indie games.

Yes, the game still has these micro transactions, and the names were changed for the killers, but the designs are still the same. A simple name change doesn’t protect you if the character still looks the same. So my hunch is that the reason why the game is on maintenance for so long is because they probably might be changing the models.

After all, BBN took exactly 8 months to be made and officially released, and it’s been about almost 5 months since the last time it was an open beta build

This subreddit has really clouded people’s judgement and now anyone who actually tries to give a decent argument always gets assumed that they’re ragebaiting them

Seriously, y’all need to get off this subreddit for a day and go outside and make interactions.

People automatically think that because this is a war subreddit, some of you think it’s okay to not really care about anything and bait people into responding to you when you actually don’t have a proper response to begin with.

Now whenever people make posts to hopefully start an actual conversation, people in this subreddit will either assume that this was made by ChatGPT or that this is purely bait.

I think y’all are suffering from AI psychosis and some of y’all seriously need to be checked out and evaluated because holy shit.

People have been doing nothing but name calling each other, some harassing others,…y’all turned this place into a toxic wasteland. This is no longer just a war anymore

If I had a nickel for every time a child character felt guilty of something, I would have two nickels

Coolkidd (new lore) felt guilty because 007n7 was in constant fear. Now within the realm of Forsaken, he blames his father for everything. This is because 007n7 wasn’t ready to be a father and wasn’t in a position to take care of a child. But he adopted Coolkidd out of obligation and he himself was a former hacker and hid his past from his adopted son than actually connecting with his son. (Idk if this 007n7 stuff is retconned or not still)

Isaac (The Binding of Isaac) feels guilty because he believed that he was the reason behind his parents’ breakup and thinks he’s evil. This is because his mother, Maggie, turns to religion as a way to help Abraham (his father) repent and turn away from alcoholism and gambling addiction. So to hide from his devout zealous mother, he would hide in his room and would lock himself inside a chest, where he would eventually slowly suffocate.

If you don’t like something, ignore it and move on. Don’t pressure others into not liking it.

Some of these arguments are giving off these kinds of vibes such as “If you value our friendship, then you don’t support AI, but if you do support it, we’re done here.”

People have been dropping their college classes and jobs as soon as AI gets involved or as soon as their teacher starts to teach them about artificial intelligence.

Regardless of what you think, AI is an interesting topic to study, explore, and discuss. The fact that some people are willing to drop their classes ain’t really just the fact that they hate AI anymore. They’re most likely scared of talking about it and want to avoid it like the plague.

Listen, I’m not going to dictate what you do. You are in your full right to leave if you don’t feel like wanting to learn about AI, but saying that it sucks and/or telling your friends that the class is bad and you ruin your friendship over it just because your friend decided to stay because they wanna learn about AI, and if your first thought is “So you support it, then?” That’s just a really stupid move then

TLDR: Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean you should pressure others into agreeing with you. You can have different views and still be friends. If I had a friend who is against AI and I’m neutral about it, I won’t just simply ditch them because they have different views than me.

The best way is to hear their side of the story. But if you decide to weaponize their views to your advantage and justify your side, then that’s just a dick move.

“But this subreddit is called AIWars” yeah yeah, I heard that multiple times here. It doesn’t mean that it should always be a war.

There are genuinely nice people here and there are people here who are willingly offering to hear them out, but what do they get in response? Aggression, hatred, violence, pride. This makes them suddenly realize that people aren’t here to listen, they’re here to simply argue in bad faith

“We’re running out of ideas.” “So we can use AI to make new ones!” “No!”

I’m sorry, but if you’re running out of ideas for…let’s say an art project, a fanfiction, or a game idea. You’ve already come up with 50 ideas within the past 2 years, and you suddenly start to think that your ideas are becoming unoriginal. So you decide to use artificial intelligence to come up with interesting ideas for you.

However, the moment you express that you used AI, people will most likely immediately drop support of whatever project you’re working on.

My brother in christ, you simply just used AI to HELP you. And regardless if you disclose it and be honest, people will be disappointed in you regardless because you simply used AI.

Are we suddenly THAT AI-phobic?

More updates regarding court cases relating to AI that I have summarized in a Google Doc

u/Isaacja223 — 21 days ago

Why do we need a stamina system?

Genuinely why?

Do it like what Dead By Daylight does and remove the stamina bar but make the killer slightly faster than the Survivor

Not like The Disaster where even though the stamina bar is removed, the killer runs at almost the exact same speed as the Survivor.

Or DSD like Bite By Night has where the Killer’s stamina slows down the longer they’re in a chase with a Survivor

Either we need to have an ASYM where it’s executed how Dead By Daylight does it, or we just end up having both sides run out of stamina and that determines who wins the match

Who even came up with the stamina system anyways?

Why are we justifying our hatred towards this one person who just wants to be wanted and seen?

Yes, I’m talking about Witty here

Why are we justifying our behavior towards her? You may disagree with what she says, but being bigoted and hateful makes you just as bad as she is.

“This is an AI Wars subreddit” yeah, saying transphobic remarks towards a trans woman is like saying the N word toward a black person just because they do something you don’t like since you all still like to hammer in the topic that this is a Wars subreddit.

This ain’t the 1920s. This is 2026. We’re way past that shit. But apparently this subreddit appears to show that we haven’t changed.

You can be aggressive or hateful all you want, but being in a debate subreddit doesn’t absolve you just because you weaponized bigotry. It just proves that you never actually cared.

Imma be honest here, either Roblox might crash when the game goes out of maintenance or there won’t be enough players

I was going to be hopeful and say that the servers may crash once the game gets back up, but now I’m not so sure

Most people just want things done more fast and efficiently, no matter how bad the product is

Yes, it’s considered lazy, but some people don’t have the time to make something like a single art piece or read a book. They would rather let the AI do it for them because it’s a more faster alternative that eases the brain.

You shouldn’t be ashamed for using something that you could’ve done yourself.

Should I feel guilty about using a calculator for an Algebraic equation that required me to think on my own? No

Would it feel satisfying if I learned it on my own? Absolutely

Do I use a calculator anyways? Yes

Why? Because even if I know how to do something, I still use the tools available to me because there’s a difference between knowing how to do something and actually doing it.

This isn’t being lazy, it’s being efficient. If you were lazy, you’d avoid the work completely because you either don’t care or you want to escape the effort entirely. If you were efficient, you’d understand and enjoy the learning process, but you choose to not waste your time on repetitive steps that a tool can do for you. In fact, it’s classified as a smart thing to do, especially considering humans have done this for millennia.

But also switching subjects(?), people say that AI is not like a calculator. This is completely valid to view them differently, even though they both are tools. This is because they belong in two separate categories of technology.

While a calculator replaces your arithmetic, an AI can replace your logic and reasoning because it does the actual brainstorming while with a calculator, you still need to do the smart parts yourself.

Plus, calculators are always 100% correct every time, but as for AI, it can be highly creative, but it doesn’t actually know facts, so as a result, it can hallucinate and be completely wrong while sounding confident.

So it’s a very valid reason why people would think that AI might replace us. But people like when things move fast and efficient because while smart brains work worse if they work on simpler things, smart brains don’t actually work harder. This is why AI is so tempting to use, because our brains naturally look for tools that do the easy stuff so it can stay fresh for the big stuff. And since using AI feels so easy, your brain gets tricked into letting the AI do the work for you because studies show that when people use AI to write or think, their brain activity drops to almost zero.

What would Absolute EXEs look like?

(Not my Art)

Imagine Absolute EYX or Absolute Fatal Error or Absolute All-Father

For context cuz a lot of people reminded me:

The Absolute Universe happened because in the lore of DC Comics, Darkseid realized that ruling his hellish planet, Apokolips, was no longer enough. He wanted absolute dominion over the cosmos, so he built a massive machine powered by Element X, his own blood, and stolen cosmic technology. After using this machine, he traveled to the dark side of the moon and forcefully bonded himself with The Spectre, the literal embodiment of the Wrath of God. And he would traverse the cosmos to discover an Elseworld that was completely blank, so he infused this blank Elseworld with his own energy, surrounding it with the Omega foundation instead of the Alpha foundation (Darkseid is Omega, Superman is Alpha).

And with this, he ensured that the system itself would favor cruelty and corporate power, forcing the new heroes to struggle at the bottom of the food chain just to survive while the villains are at the absolute top.

I’m done with the anti sub

Y’all may disagree with my views and takes, but I don’t really fucking care anymore.

Yes, it’s an AI show for children

But that’s the thing

IT’S FOR CHILDREN. ESPECIALLY PRESCHOOLERS.

If I’m going to watch something purely for entertainment, I’m cool with it. Why? Because it’s entertaining. Not everything has to be about learning and teaching kids.

But sure, call me an idiot and a dumbass

I’m not going to be seduced into your cult-like mentality.

I am not for AI nor am I against it. I don’t really care about it anymore. I just want to use it without people fucking hollering at me telling me that it’s bad

I KNOW THAT IT’S BAD. BUT I’M NOT GOING TO BE TOLD WHAT TO DO
