The above is, in essence, a modern paraphrase of the Sermon on the Mount: dignity for workers, healing for the sick, shelter for the vulnerable, and justice for the oppressed. In a secular sense, liberal simply refers to a posture that values freedom, equity, and the protection of human dignity.

And you know Trump will not remove him because he reflects the views of Trump and Miller. In fact, his views were made public in Feb 2025, and he was temporarily removed, then was returned to his position in Jan 2026. Given that Stephen Miller is the chief architect of the racist ICE policy and Miller's own emails show he is a white supremacist Christian nationalist, putting Rodden in this position to pursue the Trump/Miller racist agenda makes sense to them. It is repulsive and shameful, yet it's going on in plain sight.

And the very same people who support this...and Trump...claim we are a "Christian nation". And that doesn't include people being held in local jails, and in other countries. Remember, the vast majority of these people are normal, law abiding, were holding jobs, paying taxes, and liked very much in their community. They are NOT criminals. Deaths, mistreatment, and cruelty are accepted by these Nazis.

Hegseth has fired or forced out senior officers across nearly every service, including the chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the Navy's top admiral and the Army chief of staff. The Washington Post says more than two dozen top officers dismissed under Hegseth, who has remade nearly the entire Joint Chiefs. Only the Marine Corps and Space Force chiefs he inherited are still serving. New York Times: Hegseth has also personally removed at least 45 officers from promotion lists this year — an extraordinary intervention in a system traditionally insulated from political leadership. NBC News: Hegseth has blocked more promotions in recent weeks, including more than a dozen Black, Hispanic or female officers across the services.

WaPo: commanders overseeing Europe, the Pacific and Latin America — along with the Navy's top officer — formally objected to extending forces for the Iran war. They warned that prolonged deployments are degrading their ability to confront threats elsewhere. The Navy's top admiral told Hegseth that barely one-quarter of its destroyers are ready to deploy, according to the Post. Its only dedicated Pacific carrier has also been diverted to the Middle East. AP: the war has consumed 65% of the U.S. Patriot interceptor inventory, squeezing supplies for NATO and forcing the Pentagon to preserve weapons that would also be critical in a war with China.

Now, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll resigned because of the above reason. Trump has answered the upheaval and chaos by reaffirming his support for Hegseth — and asking Congress to entrust his Pentagon with a record breaking 1.4 trillion dollar defense budget.

General Dan Caine: “The Joint Force has no plans to send Federal military personnel or Federalized members of the National Guard to polling places during the 2026 elections.”

He also said there are no plans to use military personnel to seize ballots, voting machines, or other election materials. Let us hope this is true.

General Caine has to care about the law because the convicted felon Trump doesn't.

Democrats taking over both houses of Congress is the beginning of the end for these evil people. And they know it, so they're trying to rig the elections.

Via Forbes Magazine: Eric Trump said he could use the Trump Golf Courses for free to raise money for St. Judes. "That's not the case. In reviewing filings from the Eric Trump Foundation and other charities, it's clear that the course wasn't free--that the Trump Organization received payments for its use, part of more than $1.2 million that has no documented recipients past the Trump Organization. Golf charity experts say the listed expenses defy any reasonable cost justification for a one-day golf tournament.

Additionally, the Donald J. Trump Foundation, which has come under previous scrutiny for self-dealing and advancing the interests of its namesake rather than those of charity, apparently used the Eric Trump Foundation to funnel $100,000 in donations into revenue for the Trump Organization.

And while donors to the Eric Trump Foundation were told their money was going to help sick kids, more than $500,000 was re-donated to other charities, many of which were connected to Trump family members or interests, including at least four groups that subsequently paid to hold golf tournaments at Trump courses...the person who specifically commanded that the for-profit Trump Organization start billing hundreds of thousands of dollars to the nonprofit Eric Trump Foundation, according to two people directly involved, was none other than the current president of the United States, Donald Trump.

Under his administration, thousands of wild horses have been rounded up with helicopters, packed into metal trailers, trucked hundreds of miles, and sold off to be slaughtered, the New York Times reported Thursday.

“The [Bureau of Land Management] is saying to the public that slaughter is off the table, but they’re doing it in plain sight,” Clare Staples, who runs a wild horse sanctuary, told the Times. “They are turning a blind eye. And the only ones getting punished for what is going on are the horses.”

The Bureau of Land Management has been quietly exploiting a legal loophole that bans the slaughtering of wild horses by selling them cheaply to third parties to be sold abroad and slain, according to the Times' analysis of government records.

After Trump took office, the bureau more than doubled its sales to more than 3,700 horses, according to the report.

The mustangs are sold at a huge loss, as the government can spend $3,000 to capture a mustang it will sell for as little as $25 — meanwhile, the buyer can make up to $750 per horse at a slaughter plant...

The bureau has pitched buying a gas chamber to kill the horses...But Trump has long been pushing for the horses to be killed — calling for Congress to act in Project 2025...

President Donald J. Trump has commuted the prison sentence of David Gentile, the founder and former chief executive of GPB Capital, ending his incarceration roughly 12 days after he reported to federal custody. According to the Justice Department and court filings in the Eastern District of New York, Gentile was sentenced in May to seven years for his role in a scheme that prosecutors said raised about $1.6 billion from investors while overstating the performance of the private-equity funds he managed. The early release has drawn scrutiny from investor advocates and legal scholars, who say the case highlights both Mr. Trump’s use of clemency in complex financial matters and the long-running efforts by thousands of retail investors to recover their losses.

A jury in Brooklyn convicted Gentile and co-defendant Jeffry Schneider in August 2024 of securities fraud, conspiracy and wire-fraud charges. Judge Rachel P. Kovner sentenced Gentile to seven years and Schneider to six, and ordered both men to forfeit millions of dollars and pay restitution. Prosecutors said more than 10,000 investors were affected and that losses reached into the hundreds of millions. Civil complaints filed by the New York attorney general and the Securities and Exchange Commission stated that executives used investor funds to cover firm expenses and, in some cases, personal spending, while continuing to market the funds using inflated valuations.

Gentile remained free on bond as he pursued post-trial motions, but those efforts were unsuccessful, and he reported to a federal facility on Nov. 14, according to Bureau of Prisons records. Within days, the White House prepared and approved a commutation that eliminated the custodial portion of his sentence while leaving the conviction intact, according to two people briefed on the decision and federal officials familiar with the process. He was released shortly before the Thanksgiving holiday, a rare intervention so soon after sentencing, legal analysts said.

Government debt is on track to hit historically high levels and, at its current growth rate, will by 2028 be nearly equal in size to the U.S. economy, the Congressional Budget Office said Tuesday.

The debt is projected to grow to 96 percent of GDP by 2028. Trump added $8.4 trillion in his first term plus $2.25 trillion 2025 alone.
