ive seen some people theories that, in the show, in the ayslum scene the person who was in that day dream was not steven nor marc but jake. So what if jake wasnt made by marc since the person who we seen blacking out in those sence wasn't marc but steven
this should explain why marc doesn't know about jake since he didnt made him and this could also explain their mother's death too, for it could be steven - couldn't take his mother's brutal behavior, and making up jake to "take care of her"
