I just submitted a name request for my business, and honestly I have no idea what I’m doing when it comes to starting a company. What I do know is that I have the idea the experience and the skills and I can’t keep waiting until I have the “perfect” plan before I start. My full-time contract recently ended and I’m exhausted from interview after interview with no offer. I’m still going to continue looking for the right job but I’ve decided to put the same amount of effort if not more into building something of my own. I would really love to connect with other people in Vancouver who are building a business, freelancing, consulting or are in a similar stage. Are there any communities, support groups, networking events, accountability groups, or meetups you would recommend?
I’m nervous, but I’m going for it.

Planning to attend a career fair Pan Pacific tomorrow as my contract ended last Friday so I am looking for a new role. I am a project manager and I have never been to a career fair before I am just wondering if anyone has ever had good outcomes and leads from career fairs . Ty

I used to live in China clothes were so cheap and in Vancouver Canada things are quite expensive and I want to start ordering from Taobao again
Issue is this is the first time ordering from Canada I have set up an acc and Alipay and everything but with Canadian credit cards .
I have quite a lot of staff in my cart but I was wondering if ordering a few items for the first time could maybe work then order more later after receiving the first order but shipping is so expensive
I have since switched the app to Chinese . How has it been for those who have ordered from Canada

I’m 31 and have never been on birth control my whole life this is my first time and for some reason I just want to stop I feel like on day 2 I was just feeling nauseous(which I understand is normal side effects for the first time) till now now . issue is my period was suppose to start yesterday it didn’t which I am understanding starting birth control can shift days. And my mood instantly has been 🪫 last 2 days .
Another thing after my last period in July which was 24-27 I had unprotected sex 30 July - 2 Aug but ended up taking a morning after pill on the 4th Aug just incase I was thinking I wasn’t ovulating so I am only learning semen can trigger early ovulation, for context I had never had unprotected sex really and I had been single for the last 5 years with no sexual activity for almost 4 years . I am just very lost now any advice is welcome I don’t know if I should get a pregnancy test. Also wondering if I stop the birth control now do I start bleeding heavily I been seeing a lot post about bleeding after stopping the pill. Also noticed migraines last 2 days which I’m not sure if it’s related to the pill .

I hope I make sense but I recently started dating someone, I would say it’s early stages in the relationship, I had been single for almost 5 years so most of what’s going on right now is feeling very foreign to me. He is very nice consistent and so far everything is great . I tend to be an over-thinker and in the past I self sabotaged a lot but I can’t shake a feeling that I am all the way in too fast. Like for instance I find myself in conversations saying ‘’my love’’ which I don’t mean I am not there yet but I say it without being aware and cringe from it later . We have not said the L word which I don’t think either of us are there yet at least from what I think. I want this to work and don’t want to mess it up by saying or doing things that can seem a little too much. But I don’t know how to take a step back without checking out?

I love organizing , and have done closets pantries .. I helped a few people in the last 3 months to organize their space. So I am not sure how I can turn this into something more. Would anyone be interested in me helping out
