Journey includes cleaning, stripping, a LONG period of minor dent repair, 2 primer applications, and the rest of refinish. Probably still needs to be buffed -- clearcoat is still pretty new to me.

My touring needs a lot of outer beautification. I finally got around to painting this spare bumper to get myself ready for the rest of the car, lel.
Next will either be the hood or the front bumper.
Just kinda felt proud and wanted to share it with our community.
As the title says. Friend of mine needed to tow his Jetta and realized he was missing the hook, so he wants to make sure his recovery kit is complete. If anyone has one with a visible part number, I'd appreciate it being snapped and sent here.

Since mecha always has a way of giving special designations to machines of a specific universe: the semi-organic guys are from the (fictional (I made it up)) Sensus genus, and the piloted walkers are called Exocarps.

This kick panel is quite toast, so I'm planning on getting a whole new one. I'm sure improper removal/reinstallation of the kick panel was part of what broke it in the first place. Just wanna make sure this isn't one of those items that breaks over time, or has common breakage that is preventable with some DIY magic.
EDIT: BALL JOINT*, I know now that it's not the same as a ball bearing -- it's not the main subject of the post, but thank you for your corrections.
Images say it all, heroes. The control arm on my sister's 'Stang lost its ball. She hasn't been able to pop the hood to inspect the strut tower since this happened, so I wanted to see if you guys had any tips on how she could open it. I'm not local to her, so I can't really do my own looking.
And if there's anything else she should look at or anything else that doesn't look right here, please let a brother know. I'm eternally grateful for any pointers. (Ignore the fat dent on the fender, I'm already in the process of sourcing her a new one.)
BMW E30, sunroof gates broke and the panel went for a slide on the highway. Tried to get the original one fixed and painted. $450 minimum for a decent-looking aftermarket replacement. I have paint on-hand if I buy a new one.
It's made up of 2 pieces of metal, so I'm not sure if that'll make it more of a pain than getting a new one and painting it.
Up to this point, she's been in two fender benders and an involuntary sunroof delete, and many of the adjacent panels are showing signs of failing paint (or the paint was damaged during a repair). It'll be about the same color, but all my nitpicks with the body and paint will be taken care of. I can't wait.
As the title asks, I had some used LiquiMoly motor oil to ship back to FCP Euro brought to a local store. I've done this before, and I'm sure I set the bottles upright in bags and with the original packaging to keep it from rolling. Nothing should have been on its side, otherwise it would've made a mess on drop-off, or even before then.
I get a call almost 7 hours later from someone at the store essentially demanding that I pick up the oil the following day, as it spilled and made a mess in their office.
Are they permitted to do this? Did I do something wrong? I told them that it was used motor oil when I dropped it off (as in, open containers and a potentially hazardous fluid, I dunno). Only thing I could've done better was draw "This side up" arrows on the box, but I didn't anticipate this.
Yeah, so she got hit while it was parked. Not sure why she's such a magnet for that sort of thing.
A few Google searches came up with donor fenders on eBay in pretty bad condition, and then a few aftermarket options. Anybody try any of those out, have any problems with installation, etc.? Not sure if any one provider is better than another.
