Can i use my old APS after completing my bachelors for my masters?

Hi everyone,

I got my APS certificate in January 2024 when I had completed only 5 of 6 semesters, so it says "currently in bachelor's" instead of completed.

I wasn't admitted in 2024 or 2025, but I've now received admission for 2026 and have since graduated.

Can I still use the same APS certificate, or do I need to update it with my final degree and transcript? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Thanks!

MSc Brain & Mind Sciences (Crete/FORTH) — Worth It?

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some advice regarding my master's decision and would really appreciate perspectives from people who know about neuroscience programmes in Europe.

I have been applying for MSc programmes in Cognitive Neuroscience/Neuroscience in Germany for the last few years and unfortunately I have faced multiple rejections. I am now at a point where I don't want to keep waiting another year and I am seriously considering applying to the MSc Brain & Mind Sciences offered by the University of Crete in collaboration with FORTH.

My concern is that Crete is not a major neuroscience hub like Germany.

I really like the programme because it seems research-focused and has the connection with FORTH, but I am worried about career opportunities after graduation.

My hesitation is not because I dislike Crete, it actually seems like an amazing place to live. My concern is whether I am choosing it because it is genuinely a good academic opportunity or because I am exhausted after several years of applications and rejections.

Would love to hear opinions from current students, graduates, researchers, or anyone familiar with neuroscience careers in Europe.

Thanks!

need opinions on the vision of the room

hello everyone

I need help in understanding if the chosen blinds will look good in the room or not. the first image is that of the finalised blinds (they were the only good blackout blinds available). the 2nd image is how that side of the room looks, with the wardrobe. ive also attached the how the panel of the wardrobe looks.

my room is going to be painted a light cream shade (kinda cool toned) and we're also going to add light shade wooden flooring later.

during the planning i thought these aspects would all look good together but now im starting to get worried that its all a lot. i thought of adding a wallpaper in the dark pink portion of the wall because the walls are all plain then but now im confused if i should introduce more texture with the wallpaper or if i should do a frame collage.

Uni Assist payment issue delayed my VPD - need help

Hi everyone, I really need some advice regarding my uni-assist application.

I applied for my VPD through uni-assist on April 17th for Freie Universität Berlin. However, there was an issue where uni-assist wasn’t able to allocate my payment to my application initially, which delayed the start of my evaluation.

The issue was resolved and i ended up applying for the VPD on 3rd May, but my application is still under evaluation and the university deadline is approaching. I’m really worried I won’t receive my VPD in time.

I’ve submitted all required documents correctly and have already contacted uni-assist, but I haven’t received a clear or helpful response yet.

Has anyone experienced something similar with payment allocation delays? Is there any way to speed up the evaluation process or get uni-assist to prioritize the application?

Also, if the VPD arrives after the deadline, is there any chance universities (especially FU Berlin) still accept it?

For context:
- Applying for cognitive neuroscience-related programs
- IELTS: Band 8
- 9.5 CGPA equivalent

Any advice or shared experiences would really help — I’m getting quite stressed about missing deadlines.

Thank you!
