Okay, so I’m done setting up my unit. But now how do I use the gyro? What setting should I have? Is it soft or hard mode? I still spin out a lot and tendency steering going left or right while car is moving forward
XD10 or 10BL120 G2
Is it worth getting an XD10?
Contemplating which esc to buy

Or
10BL120 G2 w program card
About $50 difference
My zx elecs so far:
Yokomo BL-LHV Servo
Yokomo DP-302 V4 Gyro
Sunpadow 6500mah platin
Hobbywing Xerun D10 13.5T
Flysky GT5
Will mostly use my unit at home
Gyro Color
Torn between choosing black or red gyro for my ZX. I already bought both 😅 I can put the black on my sx3, but it also looks good on ZX 😂😂
Basic Elecs for my SX3
Transferred the motor to my ZX. And thinking to transfer the BL-LHV servo too.
What cheaper elecs you can recommend for this chassis since it might be a basic car to use since the ZX will be my main car.
What’s on my mind are:
- HB 10bl120 g2
-Agf50bhl
-v4 gyro
- 10.5T motor (not sure yet which one)
ZX slowly coming to life 🤓
Just Installed D10 13.5T motor and it looks so good!!
Still can’t decide what ESC will I install since what’s on my mind is 10bl120 g2. But it seems xd10 will look good too 🤣
I have a V4 gyro laying around. Also Yokomo BL-LHV
Servo. Is it a nice servo or should I buy Sp02D v2 ?
Will mostly use the unit at home and only track it from time to time. Are there any elecs you can recommend?
Navigating my life at late 20s
Problem/Goal: Turning 27 next month. What advice can you give someone who’s entering late 20s in terms of Career, Finance, Relationships, or life in general.
Context:
Career - I have been a freelance photographer since graduated. Almost 4 years. But I also do selling stuff online because being freelance is not stable. However, I get to survive naman so far in freelancing. But of course, some months are okay, some months are low.
Since I am almost 4 years in this freelance world, I feel like I don’t really progress and re thinking “is this what I want to do long term” since it is not consistent. But also, working in full time work might limit me to do other stuff. I am also thinking of shifting careers. Sometimes, I just feel lost with what I am doing or what career path I should do long term. Am I too late to change? What is your career story that you’re okay to share on how you pivoted? 🙂
Finance - I didn’t come from a well off family. When I was starting out, I had to invest in equipments like desktop, Camera gears, etc. It was only this year that I was to able to save half a million. BUT for my age, I feel like left behind. What financial tips can you give to improve my finances? I’am frugal in terms of money.
Life/ Relationships - Just recently, I am trying to meet new people which is I feel like is healthy naman. For previous years, I was very broke that it became my insecurity. I just lock myself in my room, not realizing I am aging too. I isolate myself back then which I regret now. What tips can you give to improve my social skills and where to meet more people?
Previous attempt: trying to navigate life at the moment.
Sharing my SXIII
Sharing my Sx3 on Tamiya GT86 body. My goal is make this look a stock car. Also transferred my carbon battery holder from my ZX.
Opinions on owning old high end chasis?
Bought this mint sx3 months ago. Pretty much all stock aside from the high traction chassis. Haven’t used it actually.
Just bought this ZX that was used to be a competition car. Am not pretty sure if I got this a good deal. But here’s the specs:
Yokomo YD2 ZX Chassis
Full Reve D Upgrades
-Reve D Lightweight front shock mount
-Reve D lightweight lower arms
-Reve D Front Upper arms
-Reve D TK rear suspension block
-Reve D 45mm Rear Arms
-Yokomo KPI Knuckles
-Yokomo SD2.0 Sliderack
-Team AD Rear uprights
-Carbon Battery holder
Zx seems to be wider on everything, while sx3 seems to be box stock in measurements
Are owning these chassis still good nowadays? Total of both of these are equivalent (or a bit lower) to a price of SD3.0.
If I were to sell one, which should it be?
YD2RX to ZX Conversion
I am looking to buy a YD2RX. However, it’s Rear motor mount. If I will convert it to ZX, what should I change aside from the transmission case?
27M / Am I doing well in life?
Turning 27 in a few months. Started working late 2022 as a freelance photographer. Income is less predicatble, however I was able to invest equipments like desktop, camera, camera lens down the line. Also bought a car (less than 150k). Got broke around 2024-2025 for buying these things. It was just late last year - present I was given an opportunity to save through buy and sell.
Currently have 500,000. Still building a sperate emergency fund (fluctuating since may need bayarin minsan) also have around worth 100k items in buy and sell.
Given this small milestone, I still feel 500k is small for my age. What advice can you give to improve my finance and career? What investments can I start that can compound long term?
Flight Attendant Career
Hello! I’m thinking of exploring a different career path and one of it is being an FA/Cabin Crew.
What is the life of an FA? What are the career growth and benefits of being in this career?
I’m a photographer for almost 4 years now. Turning 27 this year. Is it late to pivot to this career?
All inputs would be appreciated
Career advice at 27.
Hi! Been a lurker here for a while.
I’m in the freelance world as a creative (photographer) while also selling items online. Since graduating almost 4 years ago, this has been my full-time work, so I don’t have traditional corporate experience.
My income has improved year after year, and this year I’m averaging around ₱65k/month, which I’m grateful for. The downside is that the income isn’t predictable. Some months are great, while others are slow, and lately that’s been making me think more about my long-term career.
I’ve been wondering:
• If I eventually decide to apply for a corporate job, will having only freelance experience put me at a disadvantage?
• I’m considering trying a career in sales. What’s life in sales actually like? What do you enjoy, and what are the biggest challenges?
• If you were in my position, would you continue freelancing or transition into a more stable corporate role?
I’d love to hear from people who’ve made a similar switch (or decided not to). Thanks!
