According to the Tamil Nadu Shops and Establishments Act and the Tamil Nadu Catering Establishments Act, shop name boards must display Tamil as the primary language, followed by English or any other language. The rules also require a font size ratio of 5:3:2 for Tamil, English, and a third language (if used), with Tamil displayed most prominently in the government-prescribed reform script.

In reality, these rules are rarely followed. Many shops have name boards only in English, while others display Tamil in a tiny font tucked away in a corner. Even this Upavihar name board is entirely in English, and "Thindi" is a Kannada word rather than Tamil.

No one is even talking about this. What are the authorities doing without checking these violations? In Bangalore, there were massive protests just because English was displayed in a slightly larger font than Kannada.

A 19-year-old Dalit youth Parthiban and a 17-year-old girl Divyadarshini were found dead in the Mayiladuthurai district. The bodies were found inside a shed near Sathankudi village on Tuesday morning.

The girl belonged to the MBC community, while the boy was from the Dalit community. The deaths triggered tension in the area as police launched an investigation.

The youth's family has alleged the deaths were the result of an honour killing. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

TL;DR: Tried booking a Rapido cab for nearly 20 minutes but couldn't get one, so I booked an Uber instead. Just as I got into the Uber, a Rapido driver accepted the ride, so I cancelled immediately. The driver then repeatedly called and verbally abused me with extremely vulgar language without even listening to my explanation. I reported it as a safety issue. Rapido initially said they had only counselled the driver and closed the case, but after escalating it again to a Tamil-speaking support agent who understood the severity of the abuse, she suspended the driver's account.

A young man and woman working for an NGO were allegedly attacked by a mob after being wrongly suspected of being child kidnappers in Rayagada district.

The duo, originally from Surat and Delhi, were travelling to the Thuamul Rampur area in Kalahandi district for NGO-related work.

However, after reportedly taking a wrong route while following Google Maps, they reached the Kalyansingpur area of Rayagada at around 8 PM.

Edit: The place looks like Madhya Pradesh from the bike number plate. Is there an option to report it to authorities.

So, I have earlier posted about the Gshock I purchased in Myntra Early Access sale which had damaged box and missing manual and Warranty card. I took it to the nearby Casio store and confirmed it's authentic also the product registration is approved from Casio. So it's authentic but it may be returned stock which sold in huge discount. I was one of the lucky ones who atleast got authentic product. One person who ordered the same watch received a fake. I'm attaching the pics comparing the Fake and Real. So, the fake one in the image is a replica with original strap. The person who returned it replaced the fake body with original strap.

Tips to find Authentic Casio.

1. Casio's sold in india has unique serial number printed on the back case as well as the product box if both matches it's mostly real. I've never seen a fake with a serial number till now.

2. If it's a bluetooth model it's even more easy to find the fake. As the fake one's never connect to the Casio app.

3. Product Registration in Casio india website. If the registration is approved by Casio india it's original.

Still they can replace the machine of the real one and return it with a fake one. There are people who are doing this. We can't find that until the watch is opened. So, buy online with caution. Prefer official offline stores.
