So I’m about to purchase the Rapid Engineering Beaver tail for my Glock 48. I’m curious if anybody has had experience with both the medium, large and extra large variations. I have thin, medium large hands. I don’t have huge meaty paws, but my hands certainly are bigger than average. I have their mag well as well. So if anybody knows if the strap and the mag well work together too let me know. I can’t decide if the extra large with the palm swell will be too much or if it actually helps a ton. Do your thing boys, lmk.

First two mods to my new 2026 Glock 48 MOS. This is my first Glock and I bought specifically to modify it into exactly what I’ve always wanted in a hand gun. Today my slide lock and my mag release came. It was pretty straight forward to install and I think it looks great. It’s not a bright silver which I did not want. I wanted a subtle greyish color and Tyrant CNC delivered on that. Everything looks and feels great.

Looking for other opinions on whether or not my son looks more like me or his mother.

Bought my first Glock today. Went with the 48. Brand new out of the box. I just love this slimline design. I actually went to get a 19 gen 5-6 MOS and walked out with this. So boys, I have some brand new metal to play with. I’m thinking grey and black color scheme. What are we suggesting? This will be joining my EDC lineup. I really want to do a slim mag well, +0 weighted baseplates, a tiny comp if they make one small enough + threaded barrel, a trigger for EDC (preferably one that doesn’t alter the pull weight too much), night sights (I’m going no optic for now I think), extended slide release and a weighted or heavier metal backplate for my slide. I need you all to drop your cost effective recommendations down below. I own plenty of guns so I’m going all out on this build, but would like to keep the cost between 400-700 dollars on aftermarket parts. I went with Glock because of how modular they are but also because of how reliable they are even after modding. Post your favorite products for the 43x/48 models and the price points they range from + your experience.

My MC9 came with a lottle too much gold. So far I’ve replaced:

- the slide lock levers with black metal OEM ones
- the takedown tabs with black OEM ones
- the baseplates on my mags with black OEM ones
- black color fill on some of the engravings

Next, I will do a black trigger with a gold safety tab. I think I’m finished after that!

What do you all think? I’m between a Glock 19 MOS, a CZ P-10 C OR, Sig P320, or any similar guns with good reliability and good aftermarket support. As I love building guns up. I need some opinions here. My Canik mc9 is just a little small for my hands sometimes. I shoot it extremely well. But every single time I shoot my Echelon 4.5F, my brain automatically goes “I need a bigger carry”. Because my Echelon might be the best home defense gun I’ve ever shot. I am a little bias though, I won’t lie. My guns have all treated me extremely well and I have had zero malfunctions. But today when I was honing in my grip on my MC9, I was quickly starting to realize just how small it really is. Im not one of those “ I have the biggest hands on the planet “ type guys. But the MC9 is extremely small. 3.18in barrel to be exact. I even have the extended grip mag. I hold high up for maximum recoil control too and my thumb is about 1/5 inch from the end of the barrel. I can’t help but feel there are better options. I will never sell my Canik and it will remain in my lineup. That gun has been so reliable and good to me. My Echy is just too big to conceal. So leave your picks here for me please. Reliability, recoil control, modularity, grip control/ergonomics and concealment are most important to me. 3.6in-4.1in barrel length is the only length I’m considering. 9mm striker fire only. Double stack preferably. Optic ready options. Pic rail access. *** Features like night sights, factory trigger, slide cuts, ports, serrations, beavertail, mag wells, extra mags, colors, threaded barrel, etc etc are not important to me ***

Well, my wife is. To celebrate, she got me a new range bag with “DADDY” patches. One for my old bag and one for my new bag. This women knows me all too well to know that I will proudly rock the shite out of those. We go in tomorrow together as a couple. We will leave a throuple, god willing. It’s a boy. Our first. I broke the gun down and got a custom cerakote job in burnt bronze with silver color fill on the lettering since all the aftermarket parts in bronze/brown were out of stock.
