There were about 400 releases last year. This year(although not finished) we have only seen about a quarter of it. So we'd probably see around 120-130 releases total this year.
Going by last years trends, next year we will see less than 50 probably around 30 releases.
If you look at the oldest universities, they were established only in the 1940s(actually the first university was established in 1946 just a year before independence and that university only got a campus in 1956.
It was a backward place even by the standards of british india. If you talk to older people from UP, MP was seen as more backward than their state. The writer jagmohan Singh, from katni wrote books on chattisgarh mocking it as an even more backward place.

The bareilly area seems to have had a lot of migrations after the mutiny. In the company period it was the site of the rohilla wars, then the uprisings in 1817 and 1837 and finally the mutiny which was fairly bloody.
One of the more famous memoirs written by a pathan in the carribean was also written by a guy from bareilly. Anyone here knows more about these events?

While khan bahadur khan is fairly well known as a figure in the mutiny, shobha ram is probably not. Is he well known in the city? I have heard hori lal, the bakshi was his son. He was apparently a saksena kayastha from bareilly or perhaps shahjahanpur.

I only have some weapons and armors left. I want to ask if I could farm them in the next volume. Also, I missed a few email chains but I maxed on affection. Will their be any changes? My affection is 250 for each character.

My great grandfather was a freedom fighter from hingti village. His name was Lala Rudra Pratap. He died from TB in 1936 after being released from jail in 1934. Apparently he was elected to district council in 1934(the zila parishad in those days). Anybody knows anyone here who is interested in that bit of local history or can tell more?
The pratap ward in bina is named after him.
Title says it all. Wiki lists the tat population as only 2000. This is too small a number to sustain.
