I know that converse are the go-to for a huge amount of people, but I want to be different since I have main character syndrome /s. Anyways, as the title says, I wanna know what are historically the most iconic sneakers in the alt scene.
By “spidey senses”, I basically mean this unexplainable sense that something is wrong. Often, it’s during a period of silence and lack of action, where the enemy should be doing some sort of action, but they’re not.
I get this sense a lot during ranked matches, though I’m not good enough to tell the cause. For example, I’ll be moving towards the objective alone while my teammates push as a group, and suddenly it’ll feel like my surroundings are weirdly still. It’ll be like those moments in horror movies where it’s right before a jumpscare.
Then, a few seconds later, out of nowhere, a Vigil for example will spawn out of thin air and BOSG me in the back of the skull. This happens very frequently with me, to the point that I can consciously recognize it happening. I’ve learned to try and find cover and listen for footsteps while aiming my gun at the nearest flank whenever it happens. And lots of the time, someone pops out.
Does this happen to anyone else?

Must be under $2000 (so $1999.99 is fine) before taxes. Preferably a discounted laptop too.

Anything from 14”-18” is fine, though I’d imagine 16” is ideal.

All-purpose use. Gaming, CAD rendering, school assignments, YouTube and music, etc.

Never had a laptop before. Though, I’ve spent quite a lot of time over the past few months researching what’s good for what use case. I’d ideally like 1440p 144hz at medium-high settings in most modern games except the most demanding titles. I’m also going to be doing quite a lot of CAD work, so I’m guessing a good CPU and 32GB of RAM would be ideal. Everything else I’ll be doing will need less performance than these 2 use cases.
I would like something that can last 6+ hours if I’m just using Google Docs, or Spotify, or YouTube, etc. I’m going to be doing all of the gaming and CAD with it plugged in to a power source.
Performance > Battery Life > Size > Weight
I’m almost certain 32GB of RAM will be a near-necessity for me, to the point where 5070 Ti 16GB RAM < 5070 32GB of RAM if prices are tight. I would like an IPS screen if possible, because I do sometimes leave my computer on the same screen for hours, so I want to avoid burn in from OLED. Any refresh rate at or above 144hz is preferred. Lastly, I would like it to not be screaming loud, for which I’d imagine the 16”-18” size range would be more ideal.
On the hunt for some bootcut jeans that are rather cheaper. I‘ve gotten plenty of pairs of jeans for under $30, and they’ve all been straight cut and fit fine.
I havent had the same luck with bootcut jeans though. I’m not looking for under $30 specifically, but for example, levi’s 517 are $75 brand new, which I find too pricey. Where can I get more affordable bootcut jeans?
Everyone’s heard of y’allternative fashion. Though, it’s mostly blended with Texas fashion. But what about a more western-influenced version? I mean the American Southwest in particular (California/Arizona/New Mexico) and even the nearby Mexican areas like Sonora and Chihuahua. Basically, think “Wild West” inspiration, but not actually that old obviously. Is this a thing?

I’ve been doing roughly 5 miles a day, 3-5 days a week for weight loss and general health. With my current running shoes, just doing this 2 days in a row causes my feet to feel quite worn. I used to do this before and had no issues.
Essentially, I’m asking for shoes that keep your feet in the best shape possible when you’re doing 10,000-20,000 steps a day rather often.
I’m not sure whether firm or soft is best for this, but my money would be somewhere in between. I have a wide foot, want a price range around ~$100, I don’t know my foot stride, I move on concrete/asphalt, and in terms of weight, I just don’t want a shoe that feels like a brick on my foot.
Whenever I play minecraft, which is usually alone these days, I absolutely cannot play with music on.
If I do, I’m bound to here tracks that bring up a lot of strong feelings of nostalgia and memories, which can end up making me waste hours by laying in my bed and just thinking about those times.
Is anyone else like this? Where the music is such a strong trigger of these feelings that you dont wanna play with it on?

Well, I got Ineffa on her rerun, and just got Lauma today on her rerun. My Ineffa’s top 5% on Akasha and my Lauma has like 1000 EM and 1/7/8 talents.

My 7th video ever went viral 2 months ago. It got 50k views in the first week, and sits at over half a million views now. It brought several thousand subscribers to my channel.
Well, I’ve been uploading consistently ever since then, about roughly similar and interchangeable topics, and each video has been doing worse and worse view wise.
Now, my retention is actually getting BETTER each video. My click through rate is between 3% to 8% per video, with that one viral video having a 5% ctr. Retention has climbed steadily from ~35% to 50% video in the videos posted since.
But each video is getting less and less views, to the point that my newest video is an 8/10 as of 1 week after posting. What do I do? I’m getting desperate.
People who click often like the video, but no one’s clicking. And again, I’ve had some videos do better CTR than my viral one. Im just not sure what to do. Please help.
