I'd like to get a few meaningful marathon medals from past races engraved (London, Tokyo, Boston, etc). I have a bunch so I'm hoping I can get a volume discount at a local place that does good work. Any suggestions? I'm in the UWS so all other things (ie price and quality of work), closer is preferable.

I'm 46 y/o male. I can consistently run 2:52-2:55's and feel generally fine'ish during a race. Current PR is 2:48 when I was 44 (Houston Marathon). I pushed hard during that race and felt like I was running up against my natural limitations. Since that time I focused on mid 2:50s as race targets mostly bc I didn't want to do the suckfest of sub 2:50. I'm running Chicago this fall and I'm toying with the idea of pushing for a new PR and a stretch goal of sub 2:45. Interested to hear what your training looks like (mpw, example track workout, block length, etc), your carb plan for the race, and anything else you did that you felt gave you that added edge.
