I bet most of us have seen the Hazbin Hotel Angel Dust / Valentino one, and I really want to see Enver Gortash get this treatment.

Alternatively, Astarion could also give Cazador what's coming to him as well.

Or Dame Alynn could beat the crap out of Ketheric Thorm or Lorroakan, she basically does in game anyways.

Baldurs Gate 3 has so many great candidates!

But why did Kuo even volunteer for this? Just to be petty against Nix?

While talking about what to do with the power exchange machine, Kuo is very adamant that nobody should use it, and mentions how she feels traumatized and violated by it.

But immediately switches it up as soon as Nix and Cole start talking about using it. Kuo basically says "If you swap powers with anyone, it should be me" but why??? Was it just because she hates Nix and would rather go back into the machine than give Nix the satisfaction of getting her way?

Kuo also says "If you choose her, I'll have no choice but to hunt you down like a criminal". Also why??? The game doesn't even present this as a good vs evil choice, aside from Kuo and Nix clearly being the angel and devil on Coles shoulders. But in this situation, Nix doesn't even propose any evil things, just to swap powers.

What other characters from other media are kinda like Polites who are nice and hopeful and want to spread peace, but end up either dying or meeting some tragic fate as a way for the story to set a dark narrative tone?

I always loved InFamous 2, my favorite game of all time, and wanted to return to it after a couple years. The game automatically put me in hard mode, which I thought was fine. Last time I played hard mode was for the platinum trophy and I played extremely safely and lame so I could finish. But now I'm trying not to be too cheesy.

A few militia can kill me in a couple of moments if I don't have cover, and a rocket launcher can oneshot me. But honestly, I think the higher risk is fun. Now I have to think instead of charging them head on and frying everyone easily.

My only issue are the "Bigass Filthy Mole Monsters" the Ravagers... Not the extra big guys you shoot in the mouth, those guys are fine. But the medium monsters that dig underground.

On hard mode there's about a 50% chance getting pinned down and having to spam R1 to get them off you is a guaranteed death sentence. And more than once I throw a sticky grenade on it, and it charges me, the damage combination of the grenade and the charge attack killing me instantly.

And the game loves giving me two at once, or one accompanied by about 20 corrupted.

I usually have to end up kiting it down the street for 8 blocks while sticking a ton of grenades to it, running away frantically needing a recharge, and hoping I don't get insta-squished by a stray flying car.

Do yall experts have any advice for me? I feel like about halfway through the game, they really chill out about putting two of these guys in every single mission.

I still absolutely love this game, just wanted to rant a little bit here...

The ending I'm referring to is when you allow Karlach to be the one to turn into a Mindflayer, dominate the brain, and live the rest of her life as a Mindflayer alongside the player who's romancing her.

Throughout the game Karlach makes it very clear that she would rather die than live in The Hells again. I know that you can eventually convince her to go back to Avernus to live, and if she goes alongside Wyll or Protagonist she's happy and a cure could even be possible. But frankly, I initially want to respect Karlach's wishes of staying on Faerun even if it means her heart will give out soon.

Regardless of weather or not you could call this her happiest ending or not, the Karlach Mindflayer ending is very interesting, and I really enjoy that I chose to see it.

First of all, she asks to sacrifice herself. Practically begs you to allow her to be the one who saves the world, since she's gonna die soon anyways.

After she turns into a Mindflayer, she seems like her mind and personality are completely intact. Perhaps it's just because it would be too much work for the developers, but she keeps all the same voice mannerisms, cheering, singing, and laughing during battle. She's absolutely thrilled that her engine is finally quiet and she can live a full and free life now. She barely even cares that she's a purple space squid.

There is the discussion on weather or not Mindflayers have souls... I think its inconclusive since Withers basically tells us they have no souls at both the beginning of the game and post credit scene. However, Karlach transformed in a different way, not enslaved to a brain, and under Orpheus's protection. Withers even says something along the lines of "Her physical form may have changed, but that's still the same ally you knew"

But in the epilogue, it seems like being a Mindflayer has effected Karlach's personality. She speaks more robotically, saying "Before, that love was an irrepressible inferno. Now it is a calm, cool object of beauty".

And at the party she talks about how she has an arrangement with old or dying people to allow her to feed on their brains, since that means the person's memories will live on. However, she comments on how she needs to restrain herself from thinking about all the brains of innocent people walking around the city.

This ending is really bittersweet, because this is what Karlach wanted and she seems happy. Although you have to question how much of Karlach is even left in there, or if it's just a tadpole doing it's best Karlach impression.

Personally, I see this ending kinda like the protagonist is staying with his wife that has Alzheimer's. It seems like she's slowly slipping away, and much of her personality is too. But you still love her, and owe it to her to stay by her side no matter what, cherishing your time with her and what affection the two of you can share.
