What do you think about the musical directors of the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies? I mean Carl Stalling is known to be the GOAT, but Milt Franklyn had a number of great musical greats, including Hillbilly Hare and What's Opera, Doc. And, even though I used to dislike William Lava's shorts, I now realize that he tried to make the best with a depleted resource as Warner pared down the Music Department.

I went to the laundromat today and discovered a new (to me) version of shrinkflation. The last time I went there the dryers would give me seven minutes of drying time for a quarter. Today I put my money in and they only gave me SIX per quarter. To their credit they didn't raise the cost of a wash, but it still stung a little.
