What do you think about Yota?
(Im an anime only so please no spoiler)
First off I’m bad with word and English isn’t my first language so sorry if it doesn’t make sense.
So Yota is my favorite character, and I was scrolling and looking at some ramparts of ice comment because I wanted to see, well, more Yota talk since there’s barely any and most people only talk about Minato and most of what I saw was (other than Momoka hate which is good) were either comparison between Minato and Yota or how Minato is the greatest male protagonist. Hell I even saw some people degrading Yota to make look Minato higher. I have nothing against Minato, yes I hated him at first like a lot of people, but now he’s my second favorite character because he’s also very relatable to me like Koyun and Yota, and I find him sweet too. That’s also what made me like Yota. I guess since he’s my favorite it kinda irked me the way some people were calling him “boring” “plain” or “less kind” compared to Minato. And some people were also hating on him because some people still ship with Koyun? Honestly at first I also found them cute but when Minato started becoming better (plus Yota already liked Miki) I realised that Minato and Koyun is wayyy better than Yota and Koyun as a couple. Tho Yota and Koyun friendship is one of my favorite in all fiction because I just love when a boy and a girl can be friends and comfortable with each other without being in love. Not a lot of anime do it, or do it well. Agasawa-sensei writing is truly good, both here and in polar opposite they managed to write realist and relatable character and friendship.
So I wanted to ask here what’s people here opinion on Yota? What made me like him is his kindness and the way he just feel very comfortable to be around with.
