Mathematical formula for calculating flight time?

Does anyone have it?

I tested it by chucking a rock 10km using 2 and 3 charges, at 40 and 60 degrees elevation (surprisingly, the 60 degree took less time - presumably the game just takes into account the amount of charge behind the shell), and ended up with 23 and a bit and 27 and a but seconds.

I'm just wondering if there's a formula for calculating it accurately.

Before I buy, would Potato (or any version tbh) work for this scenario...

I want to take 2 tracks in Fender Studio Pro (Presonus Studio One for anyone who isn't aware it's changed hands yet), guitar on one and a mic on the other, and feed them INDIVIDUALLY into OBS Studio as two separate audio inputs, so I can record a video with two separate audio tracks for when I come to edit it. I know how to deal with recording separate tracks in OBS - that isn't the thing I need help with - I'm just wondering if Voicemeeter can send two tracks separately, rather than just taking the output from the DAW and sending it to a single audio input in OBS.

Thanks.

Simplest way to pipe audio from a DAW into OBS?

I'm looking for an alternative to Reastream. I have Sonar and Fender Studio Pro, so if there's an integrated plugin with any of those, any suggestions would be appreciated.

My scenario is this:

2 smartphones as cameras using Droidcam.

Amp Sim VST3 hosted in OBS using atkAudio plugin for guitar

I need to record speech (I'm making a video, not streaming), and I figure the best way would be to use a DAW, that way I can tweak the audio.

Thanks

Who still uses soap and the white nozzle, even after getting the PV Pro and Trident?

I'm just curious. For some reason I just enjoy the game mechanic of soaping something up, then quick-switching to the white nozzle to clean - especially vehicles.

Maybe it's because it makes the game last a tiny bit longer, and doesn't feel as though I'm powering my way through it. I've played through both games a few times, and sometimes just dip in to relax and kill a bit of time, and the soap approach just feels more pleasant to me.

Just once...

Device limit on Spark app

I've got a Spark Mini and the Spark Neo headphones. I also have a lot of Android devices that I use for various tasks, and just installed the app on one that I'll be using to take away on holiday to control my devices, only to get a message saying I've reached the limit on the number of devices I can license the app on, and to contact support.

So fuck you, Positive Grid.

MIDI velocity filter needed

Hi. I have a Yamaha MIDI guitar, and the one major issue with it is that it sends a low velocity signal when the fret/string buttons are pressed. In Studio One I use the built-in Input Filter in front of Arturia to filter out the incoming notes in real time, but I can't find anything in Reaper that will allow me to do the same thing easily. Any suggestions?

Ideally I'd like something that will allow me to try different velocities until I find the lowest value that does the job.

<edit> I should probably mention that I've already tried JS: MIDI Velocity Control, and it doesn't do what I need. Being a noob, I may not have explained this correctly, so just to add a bit more information, all I need it to do is completely discard any MIDI signals that are below a set threshold. All "hammer-ons" on the Yamaha are exactly the same velocity, so all I want is to set the threshold 1 above that. It's 13 in Studio One, but that's possibly not a value that carries across to a different DAW (or maybe it is).

Looper plugin suggestions please

I use a few amp sims that have built-in loopers which work pretty well, such as TH-U and Amplitube 5, but I'd like to use other amp sims with my guitar and a looper that mimics a normal hardware looper.

Any suggestions folks? I could change to using Ableton, but...Ableton.

2022 Suzuki Swace (yeah, it's a Corolla really) no difference in economy between driving modes

I did a 100 mile round trip yesterday, on a mix of dual carriageway and B roads, and deliberately took it steady - 60-65 max on A roads. About 10 miles from home I put it in sport mode, expecting the overall economy to drop, but it continued to rise just as fast as it did in normal mode.

Has anyone else has a similar experience?

So the scenario is that I have a track separated into stems, and I want to re-recording the guitar part, which starts a few bars into the track. I want a 1 or 2 bar count in to where the guitar part starts, but whatever I do it starts at the very beginning of the track, so I'm clearly missing something.

I even tried cutting the guitar part at the section I want, and trying to get it to start there, but it's still just starting at the very beginning of the track.

Does anyone else use TH-U with Sonar? When enabling/disabling certain pedals - drive pedals especially - there's a noticeable lag and audio glitch. It doesn't happen in any other DAW, it isn't every pedal, and other amp sims seem fine in Sonar, it's just TH-U.
