If Mars sample return ever happens, do you think this rock will become concrete proof of alien life?

This is the Cheyava Falls rock found in Jezero Crater by Perseverance. It was discovered 2 years ago and sparked lots of interest because of its "Leopard spots" which may be fossils left my microbial life. Do you think it's actually proof or is it something non-biological?

What is causing this gradient?

This was taken a few months ago with my old Canon 1200D, Askar 60f, and Orion Skyview Pro. I gave up on processing this image because of how messy it is. Background extractions did not work on it, there were dust spots even though I used flats. Does anyone know what could be causing this gradient?

Eyepiece for my Colter Odyssey 10.1"

It's f/4.5 1155 mm focal length and I want a wide field eyepiece for DSO's and a medium zoomed eyepiece for planets and the moon. My budget is under $100 per eyepiece but preferably cheaper. Any recommendations?

Fixing up an old dob

Just got this old colter odyssey 10 inch for free. The primary mirror cell is a nightmare. The collimation screws have no springs and push directly against the mirror, likely causing severe warping of the mirror. Also, the retaining clips that prevent the mirror from falling are way to loose. I'm thinking of putting a 10 inch wide 1/2 inch thick disc of some substance under the mirror to prevent the warping and push the mirror up against the screws. Would this fix my problems?

First lucid dream

This was after waking up at 7:30 to record my dreams, then going back to bed. I immediately went into a normal dream. I was working in a warehouse with a lot of people. I was called over to sign a paper that had something to do with my school. School is a dream sign for me. I recognized this, so I did a reality check and I had 6 fingers. I got super excited, and the dream started breaking down. I was now in my bathroom, and I put my hand on the floor in an attempt to stabilize the dream. Everything looked AI generated like it was from some old image model from 2023. I even looked in the mirror, but quickly remembered that was a bad idea and looked away. I tried to teleport out but it woke me up into sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis only lasted a few seconds. This does not feel real at all. So much so that I'm starting to doubt if I was truly lucid. I've heard you can have a dream about having a lucid dream, where you don't actually become lucid, but I don't know. My memory of the dream is a little fuzzy, and that makes me doubt it too. Either way, the mentioning of school in the specific area I was at made me do a reality check and I realized I was in a dream. Crazy

Why does my Thai chili have drooping leaves?

Last slide is my other Thai chili plant growing right next to it

Anyone know why this could be happening? I checked the soil, and it was damp. I planted these 6 days ago and I've been watering 3 times a week and day highs have been consistently over 80 this week. The other one is fine. Why is this happening? I did just apply fertilizer yesterday... Could that be the cause?

Hand Cannons of the Destiny universe. Is there a real life version?

I play this game called Destiny 2, and there's an archetype of revolvers inside the game called hand cannons. They are basically a massive version of revolvers that hold a certain look that I have never seen outside of Destiny. Is there anything in real life that looks like this that may have been an inspiration for the in game design?
