I’ve been listening to ween for almost 2 years now and I honestly love every album of there’s BUT The Pod. It’s just not nice to listen to for me, and it’s weird because I love how brown God Ween Satan and Pure Guava. Maybe The Pod is just too brown for me?

I'm 16 (currently a sophomore in high school) and my dad still seems to be very strict about having electronics at night and sets a time for us to go to bed. During the school year he makes me and my brothers go to bed anywhere from 8:00-9:00 and doesn't allow phones or any computers of any sort in our rooms at night. During the weekends he is a little more lenient and lets us stay up from 9:30-10:00. The main problem with the enforcement of a bedtime is that most of the time I'm not tired. so, I end up just lying in my bed doing nothing. This especially gets annoying when I work a shift from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, which really only gives me an hour or so to do anything in my house before he sends me off to bed. Am I being overly moody about this, or should I be allowed to think for myself and choose when I can go to bed?

edit: When I mention the "Electronic" portion I was mainly trying to bring up the point about being in my room with nothing but books and a bed. maybe I would still want to talk to my brothers, or watch a show with my family? I understand it's not healthy to be on electronics at night.

I have a steamdeck but really miss playing all my switch games (switch light broke) so I’m thinking of upgrading to the switch 2! I’m planning on buying the choose your game bundle and picking Mario kart world, and I want some peoples thoughts on the console and if there is anything I should know about! Already over halfway there in saving up, just need to get my next paycheck.

Hi there, I’m 15M and I’m coming on here because I’m feeling terrible. Just a couple minutes ago I was going to ask my mom about having something for my lunch tomorrow. I ended up knocking on the door and after a couple seconds I heard no response so I decided to check if the door was locked, it wasn’t so I pushed it open slightly before I hear my moms boyfriend say “don’t come in I’m naked” before I heard him yell “theres a fucking kid”. I immediately closed the door and decided to head back to my room and sulk with my head in my hands. My mom lockpicked my door and begin asking me “why were you coming in?” “What did you want that was so important?” Before placing down a piece of paper that and saying “read this after you’re done sulking in your hands”. She then went to give the papers to everyone else in the house.

I understand what I did was wrong, no one should be bulging into their parent’s room. I’ve been trying to work on this recently because before hand we never had a knocking rule and walking into the room was fairly common (not trying to defend myself, I’m sorry)

I thought I might add this detail as well, as I have been wanting to get this out. I’m not a fan of my mom’s boyfriend, They’ve been dating for about 2 years and he and his three kids have entirely moved into our house. And now we’re fitting 9 people in a house that originally held 5, and no one (except for my mom him and his kids) have taken it well.

I apologize for coming on here about this, I just need some advice on what to do. I feel terrible and I know there’s no easy way out of this.

HOUSE RULES
MAY 2026

1. Knock before entering our bedroom. Always. Even if the door is open. If you are just coming in to check the laundry room AND THE DOOR IS ALREADY OPEN, feel free to go in but no further without permission. We should not have to leave our door closed and locked all day to prevent people from waltzing in. If the door is closed and no one answers, assume the laundry is not available at that time.
2. You will no longer have locks on your doors. I am no longer going to stand outside waiting for you to "let me in". If I find out any of you are abusing this by barging into each other's rooms without permission, your doors will be removed from the hinges. The new knobs have already been purchased, and I will be replacing them this week.
   When someone knocks on your door, you will answer with "Who is it". Shouting "What" is disrespectful and unacceptable in this house. You will have 3 "passes" since I realize this is a change for you. Once the 4th time occurs, you will lose your door.
3. Trash goes into your trash can and when full, is brought out to the large can in the garage. If I find trash on your floor, bed, window, shelves, desk, etc., you will lose your phone for the rest of the day. 2nd offense you will lose your phone/gaming system for the entire week you are with me.
   Bowls, plates, glasses, silverware are not to be kept in your room after you've used them.
   Bring them down and place them into the dishwasher immediately after you're done eating/ drinking. If I find dirty dishes in your room, you will lose your phone/gaming system a day for each item I find.
   When I ask you to do a chore, you will do it. If you can't do it at that exact minute then give me a time you will do it and get it done. If you do not perform the chore, you will lose your phone/gaming system for the rest of the day.
   Speak at a respectful volume. Even in your rooms. If you are in common areas (such as
   the kitchen, living, room, etc.) be mindful that others may be sleeping, resting.
   WALK down the stairs. Unless the house is on fire, there is no need to run with your feet
   pounding to get down or upstairs.
   You will ask permission to eat or drink anything outside of mealtime. None of the food in this house is yours. Once dinner is over and we have gone to bed, too bad. You can eat in the morning. No one should be making full meals at 11 o'clock at night in the kitchen.
4. You will not touch or take any item in this house that does not belong to you without first asking the owner. This will result in losing your phone/gaming system for a week.
   *new rules will be added as needed.

Really want this In my collection, have no clue where to find it. Not looking to buy currently but just wondering if anyone knows of its whereabouts?

Hey there! I’m trying to find a good portable cd player that displays the song/artist name as it plays! I’m not too good at this so if anyone could help that would be great! I’m preferably looking for a Sony model, maybe from around the early 2000’s.

Side c sounds really crackly for me, and side b’s logo spot is a little torn and weird. The first record is also quite warped, might try to get a refund from the local shop I bought it from, a little disappointed with this being my favorite album of theirs 🫤

Just WOW! Both games were incredible and I currently have Metro Exodus installing right now. I would have to say that I really loved the first game but Last Light was a much more fun experience for me. What are your thoughts on the two first games, and which do you favor more?
