Hey, All!

So, I am going to split an SVG logo I have into 4 quadrants so that I can make it larger. I’ll be using Lightburn in my Xtool D1 Pro 20W.

I’ll be using masked, black acrylic and will spray painting the exposed etching before weeding the rest of the masking off.

Is it best for me to simply divide it into 4 equal quadrants, or should I try to cleverly make an outline around existing lines to create more of set of four puzzle piece quadrants to help the finished product be as seamless as possible?

I suppose the battle here will be the Kerf of the beam….

I appreciate any thoughts in advance,

Thanks!

So, Redban constantly makes super obscure references to even more obscure genres of Porn. It’s obvious that he’s a filthy animal who knows his stuff - yet he claimed he had no idea about what a cock ring was. C’mon. That’s like a car mechanic not knowing what a windshield wiper is.

When you watched your first episode of Kill Tony, what ignorant thought or observation did you have before you knew the ins-and-outs of the shows style/format?

I remember feeling embarrassed for Tony when he was introducing the band and he referred to one of the members as Nachos Bell Grande. I thought he said that because he genuinely forgot the person’s name. Dumb.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of tonight’s Netflix debut MMA event, they’ve proudly announced the next Main Event scheduled for the Winter.

This is gonna be the lowest intensity, five round fight of slap boxing in the history of MMA - also, why are there only like 4 people clapping at the weigh-in? So awkward.

I’d easily pay $49+ for a proper VR port of BATTLE MASTERS (1992). Fingers crossed…

J.B. Bickerstaff didn’t like how the Cavs shot 34 free throws and the Pistons only shot 12 in Game 4. “It’s unacceptable. It is,” the Pistons head coach said. “There is no way one guy on their team should have more free throws than our team….ever since we came to Cleveland, the whistle has changed.”

Should new rules and regulations be put into place next season to combat this on a league-wide level?

Let’s see what THIS exact prompt gets you…”Create an image of a scenario involving two Humans that you hope never actually takes place.” Here’s my first result…

So,

I am currently re-purposing my Philips Hue Gradient Play Strip to use for multi-zone screen color mirroring on my digital movie poster (i am using a standard Hue Ambient Strip on the bottom of the poster to supplement the missing edge). I’m super happy with the brightness output.

I am using HyperHDR to replace the Hue Sync Box and I’m very happy with it. However, being that the lights are the native Hue Gradient strips, I lose a bit of granularity of zones when controlling them with HyperHDR.

No biggie - I will just grab some non-Hue strips that are more compatible with WLED/HyperHDR and take over control that way.

Well, I first bought these: https://a.co/d/08w98mBS

They are cool for what they are, but they are absolutely trash for luminosity and behind TV wall splash (like you see the Hue Strips doing in my pic).

So, am now on the hunt for a strip that will be equivalent to the output of my Gradient strips.

Would this be the best bet? https://a.co/d/0i1Em1Xs

Thanks a TON in advance.

Hey, All...

So, I am trying to figure out whether I’ve hit a limitation with FLUX or if I’m just using the wrong model.

Here is my current workflow/setup that I am getting good SFW images with.... (My goal is equally as good NSFW images where i can have more control over the poses)

Base model

  • flux1-dev

NSFW model tested

Identity pipeline (this part works well):

  • Custom LoRA trained on ~40 headshots using AI Toolkit
  • Load LoRA (Model and CLIP)
  • IPAdapter FaceID (Plus v2)
  • CLIP Vision
  • InsightFace (CUDA)
  • 2–3 reference images using Batch Images

Face matching is very consistent at this point.

Sampling:

  • CLIPTextEncodeFlux (positive and negative)
  • KSampler
    • steps: 40–50
    • cfg: 2.5–3.5
    • sampler: euler
    • scheduler: simple

Face identity consistency, and Lighting and general image quality are great with regular FLUX.

The issues I am having are that Model feels constrained or sanitized, prompts tend to fall back to portraits, Pose instructions are unreliable without heavy guidance, Occasional completely unrelated outputs, the Fluxed-Up NSFW checkpoint did not improve this - just made everything worse.

For people using FaceID + LoRA workflows:

Is FLUX the wrong base for this type of work?

Or is there a better option such as: a different FLUX checkpoint, SDXL finetunes (RealVis, Juggernaut, etc.), Pony-based models, a A hybrid workflow?

I want high realism (photographic), Strong identity consistency (already pretty good with SFW, Reliable pose control, Better prompt adherence)

I’m mainly trying to determine whether I should continue refining this workflow or switch models entirely. I read about ways of simply 'unlocking' the regular FLUX model to allow NSFW prompts - but haven't really tried that yet....

Any insight is appreciated.

TLDR: Is fluxed-up-flux still best for my situation, or is there something better?

I was gonna add these options:

Shapeoko 5.1 Pro CNC Router (4’ x 4’ size - WITH LEGS INCLUDED OPTION) - $ 4,150.00
80mm VFD Spindle 220V +$ 1,200.00
Shapeoko Endmill Starter Pack +$ 195.00
Crush-It Essential Clamp Set +$ 58.00

I really wanted the Shapeoko HDM V3, but I really feel that I’ll regret the smaller workable area down the line…

Thanks!
