Things to do when upgrading SD cards?

So I've had a Retroid Pocket Flip 2 for a couple of weeks and while I currently have a 512 GB microSD card I'm considering getting a 1 TB before prices spike even higher, because I want to test out more PC games natively which take up a lot more space.

I have multiple SD card readers and good type C cables that reliably transfer files so I feel like I should be able to hook up my Flip 2 and a new SD card to my computer at once and transfer all the files over, but is there anything I should know or do before hand?

When I set my Flip 2 up I put all my BIOS and emulators on the internal storage with this in mind. Before my Flip 2 came I pre-installed a bunch of games onto my 512 SD card, but it corrupted soon after inserting it so I had to reformat it and re add the games again, so I'm a little scared of that happening again after transferring everything over. Any tips or advice is appreciated!

Sidenote, I'd be going from an A2 170 MB/s write speed to an A1 150 MB/s, are the speed differences gonna be noticeable?

After months of waiting for this figure and taking my time to open it I find out it shipped with a broken shoulder joint

I don't exactly remember when I got it (I have to double check when it finally got delivered to me but I've taken a few weeks to finally open it), is it too late to get a replacement somehow? I got it through BBTS if that helps any, but I've never had to deal with a figure replacement before.

Edit: Realized it hasn't even been 30 days yet (came the 18th) and sent BBTS an email, fingers crossed. I've gotten Mafexed before but wasn't expecting it out of the box lol

Thinking about replacing my ASUS VG249Q 24" 1080P monitor I've had since 2022. I'm tempted to get an AOC 25G51Z since I want something 24" - 27" with the same resolution, but are there better options out there I don't know about?

Noticed my monitor I've had for years got a glitched row of pixels, and has been pretty finicky with HDMI cables for months now. I feel like it might not be a bad move to get a new monitor soon, especially one with a smaller base or is mountable that works better on my current desk setup. I just use my monitor for everything, like gaming and watching movies, and I know a dedicated gaming monitor may not be as good for those other things, and I may have to get proper speakers alongside it. I also have my same 1080p laptop, so upgrading to something that's 2K or 4K isn't gonna play nice with it.

Since it's been so long since I've looked for monitors, I am pretty out of touch with what's good currently. However, I saw that specific AOC recommended in an article, and the price is right around $100. Is AOC actually good? Or is it that cheap for a reason and I should look elsewhere?

Moonlight + Sunshine streams some Steam games perfectly, other games freeze on Vita's screen

I've had my Vita for a few years but I'm just now really getting into game streaming, and I've been having some interesting hurdles. Some games work perfectly, some games work to a certain point, and others don't work as soon as the game launches. How do ya'll specifically get 3D games to work well?

2D games consistently work. The Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection works perfectly, as does Streets of Rage 4. Fire Pro Wrestling World also works but looks significantly more pixelated.

3D games are where I consistently have issues. Kingdom Hearts 2.5 is the only 3D game I've played so far that works perfectly (probably due to it just being a HD remaster of a PS2 game). Games like Virtua Fighter 5 REVO and Sleeping Dogs, the display freezes from the jump in menus. King of Fighters XV, the main menu works until I get to the character select screen. WWE 2K25 weirdly worked flawlessly through all the menus and even the character entrances, but froze the instant a match started. However, the Vita controls all the games perfectly. Looking at my monitor it had the responsiveness of a standard controller, it just didn't stream the game's visuals at all or would change frames every 10 seconds.

I have fiber internet and have my computer hooked up with an ethernet cable. What settings do I need to tweak to help this? Is my computer just not strong enough for it?

Showing off design variations of my gymnast turned skateboarder. What look or elements should I stick with? [OC]

Hello everyone! I'm just the character designer who commissioned these pieces, these are all drawn by others.

Wanted to show how this sunshine goth character of mine has changed over time and my indecisiveness regarding elements of her design. I know realistically she can mix and match clothes, but I wanted to pin one specific look down for modeling sake (but she does have a bunch of skateboard deck designs).

The main idea I originally had was that she wore her old gymnast unitard underneath her outfit (making up the sleeves and cropped leggings), maybe ripping the lower body portion to resemble distressed leggings. However, I feel like thigh highs and a shorter skirt break up the design nicely and make it a bit more stylish. I've also flirted with the idea of her just wearing compression leg sleeves so there are gaps above the sock and below the skirt, instead of only having one or the other.

Also, most of these were made with the idea of her being fresh out of competition shape. Tweaks to her story have made it so she's been out of competition a little longer, and I've considered giving her a curvier body type.

Edit: In regards to her body type (since I'm seeing a lot of comments about it), I should really mention I like fighting games and she was designed with the intent of being a fighting game / beat em up character. Exaggerated, stylized muscles compared to real life is intentional! The degree of exaggeration does depend on the artist though lol

Found out this motorcycle that got posted here wasn't real. Is there a similar looking one that is?

A skater, a gangster, and a genetically modified test tube baby walk into a bar to take down the government [OC]

These 3 are the main protagonists of a story I'm making! I've posted some of them individually, but I want to know if they look good as a unit, and if there's anything I should change about their looks going forward.

Some things are already in the works (like Shana, the black character, having textured hair, and Blake, the skater, having a more distinctly different body type than the others).

I should mention, though I designed the characters, all of these pieces are done by online mutuals of mine
