I ordered a used X1 Carbon with the i5-1240P CPU. Now as much as I love the BIG.little paradigm, and I want the parallel silicon that the P series offers, 28W sustained 64W boost in an ultrabook chassis is obviously ridiculous, so I'm buying it with the express aim to limit it to 15w sustained 25w boost.
I'll be using powercap-set to do this on Fedora as I don't believe you can do this via bios, but before I get the machine, does the lenovo firmware allow this? Will it conflict with anything / reset the values to defaults?
Thank you very much.

So while browsing through non-Harley engined chops, I found this digger apparently built by Arlen Ness. I'm a big fan of everything about it. Aggressive rake, swingarm, front wheel slightly bigger than rear, sprung rear, smooth, low lines, Japanese engine, narrow profile. Love it.
Now, I would love to fire up CAD and start working on a replica, but I don't know anything about Arlen Ness bikes and he isn't really alive to ask.
I'd like to see the general geometry of the bike beyond what is readily apparent, dimensions, tubing gauges, frame jigs, etc. If anyone knows, perhaps from a similar bike, I'd love to know.
Thanks for your time!
I’m a relatively new player, and the screenshots show the three teams I currently use along with the rest of my roster. Aside from my Pyrois team, most of my actively used characters are older 1.x units.
I currently have about 10,500 Polychromes saved, plus roughly 28,000–30,000 Polychromes still available from Hollow Zero and other unfinished content.
My main priority is Sigrid, partly because I like her and partly because I currently lack a proper Ice DPS. However, I also:
I understand that Sigrid may compete with Pyrois for teammates. Since I do not have Rina, I’m considering choosing Trigger from the selector so that both teams can function more comfortably. I like Trigger anyway, so that would not be purely a meta choice.
My other selector ideas were:
At this point, my main questions are:
Basically, I’m trying to decide between these routes:
A. Save absolutely everything for Sigrid
B. Try for Remielle, then save the remainder for Sigrid
C. Pull Norma’s W-Engine, then save for Sigrid
D. Some other pull order that makes more sense for my current roster
Any advice on the safest pull schedule and selector choice would be appreciated.
TLDR; please let me know if you ever connected aftermarket dials to a BMW.
This is the dashboard on the F650CS that I purchased as my first bike. It was the cheapest ABS bike I could find nearby. and is overall a bit more banged up than I at first thought. I originally planned to put a couple thousand miles on it then scrap it for parts once I grew more confident, but I actually kinda grew to like this hideous thing.
One of its issues is this damaged dash cluster. As you can see the mounting holes for the faceplate are completely fucked and the plastic is cracked. Since I don't wanna pay 400+ USD for a replacement for a 25 year old dash cluster, I was hoping to design something myself using CNC and off the shelf components, but I'm having trouble finding data on how the dash works - whether it actually does any processing, whether it receives digital or analog signals, etc
If you could point me in the right direction, I would be grateful.
Title. I had this yellow jacket that I got as a gift for a while, and decided to keep it for visibility, buying shoes, jeans, and gloves to match, as well as a new helmet with pinlock. I decided to go gray since I am a little insecure about my head and didn't want to draw attention to it, but now I'm wondering if it's out of place with the sort of accidentally-sort-of-cafe-racer outfit?
Added a picture of my bike, but that'll be repainted to a more colorful paintjob. Denim blue with red-orange-cream striping, or red with cream striping.
Hello, I got a car and a motorbike, both equipped with android auto and waze. However, the bike doesn't have a highway vignette, and the car does.
Is there any way to have two profiles for multiple vehicles? Going to the settings and switching up the vehicle type + highway vignette every time I want to drive either is kinda frustrating.
Got it off a college kid who said it was too slow for him for 35000 CZK (1650 USD), 2002 model.
Down the line I'd like to repaint it to something more colorful, like denim blue with red cream and orange undertones, or a darker shade with orange with white undertones.
Something that says "I'm happy to be here, talk to me about bikes".
I'm a 185 cm, 100kg guy looking for a motorcycle or scooter to save me some fuel in cities and on weekly 300km round trips. Looking cool while doing it is optional. I've narrowed it to fuel injected 300cc-650cc bikes so that it's comfortable at 120 km/h while staying away from literbike suicide potential, either sportbikes (Suzuki SV650 etc), dualsports (Aprilia Pegaso 650ie, BMW F650GS), or maxiscooters (Suzuki Burgman 400, 650)
Two of the scooters I'm comparing are the Suzuki Burgman 400 and 650. The interesting difference is that the 400 has a swingarm mounted engine while the 650 has an engine mounted within the frame, as do most motorcycles. Are there any benefits to even having the engine in the swingarm asides from cost? Seems like the unsprung weight would be a nightmare.
Hi all,
I share a garage with my dad, who recently ordered brand new epoxy flooring for the garage. So me, being an asshole brat, immediately started working on my car in there and scuffed it up something fierce.
I feel very bad about that. I think the main culprits are the aluminum wheels that the jack came with, see pics. But I've seen heavy pallet jacks with wheels that had some sort of a rubber outer layer instead not to damage flooring. Is there something like that I could swap the cast alu wheels on my jack with?
As for the jackstands, is there something I could do to make them not scuff the floor as well? Maybe epoxy on a small layer of polyurethane or something?
I'm sure someone has done something like that before, unlike me who just ruined a brand new floor with this.
