Got off of Lexapro and am able to cry again

My personal opinion and experience by no means am I a Dr. and I am sure everyone has their own experience.

Hello, I started Lexapro a few years back when the company I was working for had a massive layoff. Since then I have gone through, a divorce, a loss of a Child, death of a grandmother, and some other personal stuff that is quite traumatizing.

I decided few weeks back to go cold turkey because I was sick and tired of just feeling numb. Note: I definitely Lexapro has helped me survive some of the hardest years of my life. It might have helped me survive but personally I don’t know if it helped me live. (I realize some people not be functional with out it and that it’s an amazing anti depressant)

When I say live I mean the ability to feel all emotions. I am a M (27) and I know crying and expressing emotions is very healthy and good for the body to process. After the first week of being of it and the initial toaster in the bath tub ideation (S) I feel as if all the pain that I have been numb to since starting lexapro has been slowly hitting.

For example, I was watching a sad show about loss by myself and I just ended up ugly crying. Remembering all of the sadness that has occurred these past few years. It’s honestly going to take allot of therapy and journaling but I’m happy to say that this is almost like the first step of emotionally healing, and that I’m grateful for Lexapro to act as an emotional hand to hold when I couldn’t hold myself up. Now it’s time to stand up and learn to walk again.

I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I think I accidentally summoned a demon how do I fix this?

Premise:I was 24 and was living a happy American dream life.
-was married with a new child
-great job at Fortune 500 company
-just bought a house and was planning on moving in once my lease was up

But then I got into the occult. I ended up buying a book from Alastair Crowley and something about Demonic Summoning. I read this book allot. Never did anything other than that but ever since life seems to have gone to rubbish.

Paranormal:
-corner of my eye and many of my family members eyes, dark human shadows flickering
-hearing people call for me from across the house when I know they were not home. (Happened to every member of the house)
-knocking at 3:00am
-sense of foreboding
-tried to burn the book and it wouldn’t burn
-tried throwing it away and it came back

How my life has gone to rubbish:
-divorce
-lost seeing rights of my son
-lost the house
-lost the job
-was convicted of a felony that I didn’t do.

It just seems like ever since I got that book and would read it my luck spiraled and I am sick of it.

Any advice or is this just bad coincidence?

New felon: how to get a remote job

Hi M(27),

I have a MBA and 2.5 years of experience as a senior Supply Chain Planner with a Fortune 500 automotive company. In a week I will be sentenced for a violent felony (F6) that my lawyer told me will be reduced to a misdemeanor A once I’m done with probation. (Never been in trouble in my life before, don’t smoke, and don’t drink so I’m assuming probation will be a boring cake walk to get over with)

I have been applying to jobs in person and even Burger King doesn’t want me.

For those who got a remote job and or have experience with getting into corporate America with a felony. (This may be a logical fallacy but since my feeling is violence based then a remote job I would assume would be more viable)

How did you do it? (About to be homeless and kinda desperate)

Best regards,

What is this? 2000 Toyota Celica

Hello, (not a car guy so please bear with me)

Premise: I own a 2000 Toyota Celica with 300,000 +miles on it.
-New (4 months) replaced alternator.
-Replaced (6/7 months) battery
-this issue has occurred before and so I screwed this black box onto a peice of metal (thinking that it might ground the box). I’m not sure if this is confirmation bias but it seemed to have made the car work for awhile.

Issue: when turning car on I hear a fast clicking sound. The lights in the dash show up normal and the radio turns on fine.

Right now: I am charging the battery and have cleaned the positive and negative terminals and will be applying anti corrosive liquid once I put them back.

I was stranded today and tried to use my (Stanley) jump starter and it didn’t do anything. jump starter may have needed a charge even though it stated it was green and ready, but a friend of mine showed too and jump started my car with his jump starter pack which I am confused by.

Long story short: I have no idea what’s going on with it. I’m assuming it’s the battery but also don’t know why In the past playing around with this black box and attaching it to a piece of metal actually does anything

Trying to get hired as a night shift supervisor

Hello,

Trying to get hired as a night shift supervisor and I’m kinda confused by the hiring process.

Luci (the AI bot) has me scheduled for an “in person location experience” for one day at what looks like a Lowe’s distribution center (not the store I’m trying to get hired at)

Then I was just contacted by Luci again for scheduling the actual interview.

What is an “in person location experience”, how should I dress, and what to expect?

I have a violent misdemeanor and a MBA with 2.5 years of supply chain experience as a Sr. Supply Chain Planner at a fortune 500 company. I am currently working as a supply chain specialist for a small company and was wondering if the violent misdemeanor will effect my job prospects.
