In my final semester. Did a full internship with React + TypeScript, Node + Express + TypeScript, SQL, and Prisma. Built one real full-stack project during the internship. Company had one junior seat open after — they picked the other intern.

Current honest situation:

- okiesh-ish with React/TS and Node/Express from real internship work

- JavaScript is my strongest language

- some projects to show for intership

- all things i learned in internship is that we doing with ai all those stuffs so nothing new learn

- No real network or connections in the industry

- Applying for junior full-stack roles locally in my home country and remote

What I'm confused about:

- Everyone says learn AI but I don't know if that means build AI products, use AI tools like Claude in workflow, or actually learn ML. Which one matters for a junior dev in 2026?

- Is one solid project enough to get interviews or do I need 2-3?

- Should I be deepening my backend skills (system design, Docker, AWS) or is that premature for where I am?

- How do I compete when most job listings now expect candidates to have AI workflow experience I don't have?

Not looking for "just keep learning bro" answers. What would you actually tell a junior dev in my position to do in the next 90 days to become hireable?

The reason is that in a private chat with my friend, he made a joke about "fooing my girlfriend." Before I got into a relationship, we used to joke around like that with each other, so it wasn't unusual in our friendship. However, my girlfriend saw the message and got really upset.

I told my friend not to make jokes like that again because it's disrespectful now that I'm in a relationship. But my girlfriend wants me to block him completely and stop talking to him.

I told her that we're in the same university, so it's hard to completely cut contact right now since we see each other regularly. I also said that after university I don't really plan on staying friends with him anyway and would be okay with cutting him off then.

She says that if I truly respect her, I should stop talking to him immediately.
