Lio #A2037385 needs adoption or rescue by 7/4/26 - Van Nuys / Los Angeles, CA - transport possible
‼️🆘 LIO #A2037385 NEEDS A HERO 🆘‼️
💔 Last day to save: July 4
🚨 Scheduled for euthanasia: July 5
While fireworks light up the sky, Lio could quietly lose his life the very next day.
For weeks, people have walked past his kennel without stopping. No one has asked to meet him. No one has given him a chance.
Lio is a 6-year-old, 60 lb sweetheart who lives for time with volunteers.
He loves butt scratches, treats, and learning to play ball.
He appears to be housetrained, enjoys affection, and has been described as relaxed and gentle with children in his previous home.
He has no bite history.
The behaviors that landed him on the euthanasia list are manageable with the right home.
Like many shelter dogs, he's stressed and doesn't enjoy playgroups. He needs patience, understanding, and someone willing to see the dog beyond the kennel walls.
Lio is not invisible. He deserves more than to have his story end because no one noticed him.
Please, if you've ever considered adopting or fostering, let today be the day.
If you can't adopt, sharing his post could reach the one person who can save him.
Please come meet him at
