While I was running 21km today, 3 boys ran with me

I am a 32 yo lady who runs every morning before work. It’s sunday today and I decided to run a half marathon.

This morning, I saw a group of kids (around 12-16yo) walking ahead and having fun. I guessed that they are basketball players because of different colored jerseys. By that time, I was on 5km.

When I ran passed by the group, I noticed the 3 kids: one with curly hair, one small, one thin running behind my back and they’re following my pace.

They didn’t overtake me. Just run.

After 500m, I stopped and the small kid crashed on me haha

They walked ahead and when I passed by them, they ran again.

It’s like they made me their pacer 😂

I intentionally stopped on the side to check if they’ll stop and they did!

I can hear them breathing so fast trying to catch up

I asked the smallest kid while running if they’re basketball players or runners. He said basketball and he asked what I do. I said, I just run for fun.

After 2km, I stopped by a small vendor selling bread and bought 20 breads.

I looked at the back and the curly haired kid was on the other lane of me catching his breath and the 2 kids are still running towards us 😂

I ate one bread and gave the 19 breads to the curly haired kid and told them it’s their snacks.

They are soooo happy

I continued my run and when I turned back my route to go to another road, I saw the 3 kids eating bread while walking and when they passed by me they waved at me and called me “ATEEEEE” which means Big sister in our dialect.

I waved back and continued my run.

Do I need stability shoes for marathon based on my run?

I started running 1.5 years ago and already did 5km, 10km, 12km and 21km on neutral shoes. No blisters using Vomero 18 and Brooks Ghost Max 2 for 5km~12km.

I did the half marathon using Nimbus 27 TR and I only had frictions blisters under the big toe nail and 2nd toe nail. The route had many uphills and downhills.

I had gait analysis and I was told that I have overpronation. Kayano 32 was recommended.

I did a half marathon last month and have 5 blisters on both feet: balls of the feet, sides of the heels and it was awful.

Based from my running video, do I still overpronate?
Should I return to neutral shoes?

I’m planning to buy Superblast 2 for my target marathon in 3 months. Pace 7~8/km weighing 53kg
