I think her personality type would make the season very entertaining. And with the confirmation that we’ll be seeing reality tv stars from other shows my mind immediately went to Kate from Traitors 1 & 2.

Shes pretty decent at the challenges (as seen on Traitors) and her personality would provide for good feeds.

With her experience on House of Villains, (which, the format of that show is very similar to Big Brother’s format) she already has an Idea how the game works. And shes competed alongside BB legends on other shows one way or another. (Cody Calafiore, Rachel Reilly, Dan Gheesling, Janelle Pierzina and Paul Abrahamian)

Hamster Watch also dropped the initials of the houseguests this season and one of the houseguests names starts with a K.

She also fits that “polarizing” bill that Julie hinted at in her press release.

In the moment, yes, Switch 2 sales have decreased when comparing it to the PlayStation. However longevity is everything. And I was wondering if it’s possible that in the future the Switch 2 will be the leading console for two reasons.

A) despite the price increase, it’s still the cheaper option when choosing between an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5.

B) It’s the only one of the three that will still be selling some physical copies of video games. Which may attract some gamers old and new to the console.

It’s honestly funny to me how the PlayStation and Xbox people who were complaining about Game Key Cards a year ago are now the ones who are gonna be stuck with complete digital libraries that they don’t own.

But in all seriousness, even if you don’t own a PlayStation or an Xbox this decision by Sony is a big hit for the gaming community as a whole. It’s a wake up call to the reality that dissolving owning physical media entirely is a lot closer than we previously anticipated. Like within the next decade. Maybe even less.

I already marked it with the flare, but SPOILERS UP AHEAD!!! If you haven’t played Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 and intend to do so in the future, don’t open this post. However if you don’t mind being spoiled, or if you already played Season 2, these are the 5 choices that factor directly into your ending and I’ll tell you which choices achieve you the “best” or “purest” route in Season 2.

First to define Purest, it means to reduce the death toll by as much as possible, also to befriend and not hold any grudges against anyone.

First Choice: Befriending Stella (Episode 3)
(80.5% of Players Did This)

By Befriending Stella in Episode 3 within the Sunshine Institute, you squander any beef you have with her. And she becomes your friend throughout the ending of the game. She also helps you on various occasions during the finale as a payback.

Second Choice: Bringing Lluna (Episode 3)
(38% of Players Did This)

By Bringing Lluna with you over Nurm, you unlock more scenes in Episode 4. But the major choice that has Lluna friendly with Jesse in the Ending it’s choosing her at the Sunshine Institute. If you don’t, she will leave back to Champion City with Stella feeling bitter by their choice. However if you’ve built a good relation with her, she will become Jesse’s new pet regardless if you choose to go Leave with Petra or Stay in Beacontown.

Third Choice: Giving Xara her Bed (Episode 4)
(83.1% of Players Did This)

Giving Xara her bed is VERY important as it will directly save her life in the following episode. If not, Romeo will kill her in Episode 5.

Fourth Choice: Save Fred’s People (Episode 4)
(67.5% of Players Did This)

By choosing Fred’s People, you Indirectly Save Romeo’s life in the next episode. Before you leave the Admin’s Terminal in Episode 5, Radar will return and bring the Giant Enderman with him which allows Romeo to escape with the group. Resulting in his survival. You also Save all of Fred’s People with This Choice. If you choose Radar, they will all die.

Fifth Choice: Bring Romeo With You (Episode 5)

Romeo only survives by the prior choice if you bring him with you at this decision. If you decide to leave him behind he will still sacrifice himself, resulting in his death.

While I feel like I know what a lot of people might say, my personal favourite was:

“I’m scared…” - Opposing Player to Dobes

“I know you’re scared” - Jakub Dobes

Or:

“Yup, today we’re going to recycle.”

It’s only been one year and he already has so many silly moments. 😭

It’s the outfits the main team gets! Don’t get me wrong I loved the Order of the Stone Armors from Season 1, but the attires in Season 2 were way more unique and it makes me wish the characters had more time wearing them before they eventually changed out of them for the final episode.

Here are my preferred attires for each member:

M & F Jesse: Secret Golden Armor.

Petra: Champion Attire.

Radar: Black Eye + Prison Attire.

Jack: Eyepatch + Tied Up Hair + Prison Attire

If the player decides to save Petra from the Wither Storm in Season 1 Episode 1, Petra is the only character (besides Jesse) to appear in every episode of Minecraft Story Mode across Season 1 and 2

This post isn’t meant to rip on people who did chose to save him from the Whiter Storm in Episode 1, it’s just genuine curiosity because recently I’ve been seeing more and more footage of people choosing Gabriel over Petra and I’m someone who chose the latter during my playthrough 2 years ago, and I just find it hard to think about all of the Petra sickness scenes and having them replaced with Gabriel.

So my question is mainly to those of you who picked Gabriel on your first/blind run, why did you pick him over Petra? And what was it like for your save file when he was the one with the sickness instead of the amnesia? Genuinely curious

I like Jack, but his role in Season 2 has a big issue.

When we are first introduced to Jack, he comes off as this tough and a little bit shady character who agrees to help work with Jesse and Petra to go to the sea temple. We know little to nothing about his actual character by this point, and even though we’re given breadcrumbs throughout the episode, it doesn’t justify him being in the Episode 1 End-Of-Episode Big Decision. Loads more people decided to Help Petra and it was because everyone knew Petra from the very start. So it was easy to pick her over a new character who we don’t know much about. Even though arguably helping Jack out is probably the better thing to do morally since the dude literally loses an eye if you don’t pick him whereas Petra just loses her sword. (Not saying thats an issue, just something worth mentioning)

The same decision happens again at the end of Episode 2 where Jack is put up in a major decision against Petra. And while picking Jack here is more justified, (as also shown through the in game statistics), I feel like picking Petra to go after the clock makes more sense later on from a narrative perspective. Since a lot of the game is built around Jesse and Petra’s relationship and them being the ones to fake dual in the next episode adds that extra layer of personal touch to the battle instead of fighting Jack. Where at this point, him and Jesse aren’t even really friends. They’re still just mutuals through Petra. (I’d only say Jesse and Jack become actual friends by Episode 4.)

So to summarize, Jack’s biggest problem wasn’t being a new character mashed with returning characters. As seen with Radar, he was able to grow and have his own personality later on too. It’s the fact that the writers always make Jack compete with Petra in main story decisions when the central story is already fabricated to be built around Jesse & Petra. Which removes some tension from otherwise difficult decisions or just makes less sense for it to happen at all.

It’s easy to chalk it up and just say “they’re washed”, but the reason why these legends lose a lot more in later seasons is a lot more nuanced than that. And it’s not just plot armour. (Although to some degree it is) however some portion is also their undoing.

From the God/Evolution Quartet, only Valt really keeps up with the new challengers in the Beyblade Game. And it’s more than just “he’s #1”. He’s been doing something these other legends haven’t and ultimately it’s what costs them later on. That thing, adapting and changing.

Shu, Free and Lui have been doing the same exact strategy since Beyblade Burst Evolution. Shu is the master of mode changes, Free is the master of spin stealing and Lui specializes in upper attacks.

I’m not saying that’s bad. It’s good to have a specialty actually. Same as Valt and the Rush Launch. However when your specialty becomes the only thing you master and you don’t dabble in other fields, once someone cracks the winning code, it leaves them open to losing.

A winning strategy from Season 2, isn’t gonna work as well against opponents in Season 5-6. And their failure to master any new techniques are what costs them in the long run. They failed to adapt to the changing game of Beyblade.

Valt along the way, incorporated rubber attack power on Valkyrie overtime. And as much as people like to sh*t on Savior Valkyrie, in the anime, the spring loaded driver was another way Valt was able to adapt to the new game around him. These new tactics are the reason why he never fell behind. It’s because the winning formula against Valt was always changing.

It’s also why we see legends like Aiga also succeed in later seasons. Overtime, he modified Achilles to incorporate Dual Spin. And also using different attachments on the layer.

A legend always remain a legend. However for one to keep up with the game and the rising talent, they have to learn, adapt and be willing to change with it too.

I think before I give you my explanation we have to assess Valt’s feats vs the other notable Legends across the seasons.

Valt seemingly has overcome Shu. Statistically the last time Valt lost to Shu was when he was Red Eye in the IBC. Since then, every Valt vs Shu face off has been a win towards Valt. So it’s fair to say that he’s comfortably surpassed him.

Valt also seemingly overcame Free. While there was a bit of debate still in the Evolution/Early Cho-Z era, since Valt defeated Free in Cho-Z he’s never lost against him since. Which I think is also a decent benchmark to say that Valt is comfortably stronger than Free.

Valt’s also never lost to Drum. So he is clearly above Drum.

Aiger is Valt’s only fellow Legend who still keeps him on his toes other than Lui. And even then, by the end, these two are very give and take. And I think that’s because by the time we reach QD Aiger is Valt’s Main Rival since they both toss that championship belt between each other like a hot potato. So theres a reason for Valt to still be 50-50 with Aiger since it’s clear that the writers had him in mind to be Valt’s biggest challenger.

But then, what about Lui?

Valt has objectively never defeated Lui in a 1 on 1. And his only technical win against him was in a tag team battle in where he wasn’t even the one who knocked Longinus out.

And I think this isn’t a plot hole. I think this is deliberate writers choice. If Valt defeated Lui, he’d pretty much be considered this perfect blader. But as we all know from Valt’s humble beginnings, Valt isn’t this genius at Beyblade. He just always gives it his very best, and he learns and adapts through both wins and loses. Even all the way in QD he does this. And I think the writers know this. They didn’t want the #1 Blader to be this unstoppable force who just wins every time they’re on screen. They wanted the #1 Blader to feel relatable. And despite having reached heights like never seen before, he still hasn’t reach his peak and still has room to grow. Which, I think is the beauty of their writing. They stay true to Valt’s roots even after all those years. It’s not to say Valt hasn’t changed, he did. He’s done a lot of growing since the first season. It’s just to say that the writers didn’t forget where Valt came from either. Both can be true at the same time.

But then, why Lui? If they were gonna make one legend stand out and be Valt’s benchmark he still hadn’t reach, why him?

I think it’s purely poetic reasons. Since looking back at when Valt was just starting, Lui was that ultimate challenger that Valt couldn’t beat in the end. And so, Lui symbolizes a lot more than he leads on in Valt’s journey. He symbolizes completion. And if Valt defeats Lui he’s reached that mastery stage. But seeing that he never did, it leaves us to believe that Valt can still reach even higher peaks.

Valt reminds me a lot of Ash from Pokémon. A flawed protagonist who just keeps getting better every season. But even with Ash there was a lot of benchmark opponents he never defeated outright despite becoming the Pokémon Master.

And before you jump to conclusions saying “Xander wins by default because his bey is one generation higher” keep in mind, God Beys have competed with Cho-Z Beys before (Toko using Screw Trident) and Sparking Beys have competed with DB Beys before (Death Solomon, Glide Ragnaruk) so theres more to it than just level of beys. It matters who the blader is, and the strategy they use.

Pretty much just the title.

If you asked me:

Biggest Pro: our newfound core. I think the ensemble of young players did us extremely well. Not entirely because of their ages, but their chemistry, teamwork together and overall skill levels. I’m real proud of what our boys accomplished this season. And they should be too!

Biggest Con: HITTING THAT DAMN PUCK! But seriously, I think the Habs game plan of “less shots but better shots” work… fine in the pre season, but when you’re on the actual bracket, it just doesn’t work. Plain and simple. If there’s one thing St. Louis and the players need to work on before the next season it’s fixing their game plan.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, MAKE AN OFFICIAL SOUNDTRACK FOR THE BURST SERIES!!!

I know it’s never gonna happen, but there are some banger tracks I wish I could be able to download and add to my music playlist.

The closest things we have are some good fan edits that do their best to mute all other sounds, and while they get the job done, I’d like and appreciate full length official soundtracks for the series.

For next season, this isn’t going to be a problem. Heck, probably not for the next few years as both of these players are still “cooking” and aren’t fully baked yet.

But for the Montreal Canadiens the starting Goalie position is one of, if not, the most contentious position currently for the team between Fowler and Dobeš.

Both of these players showed extreme promise and potential during the last NHL season, easily resulting in the dethroning of Samuel Montembault.

Though eventually, they’re gonna have to make up their mind and pick one. And so, who are you putting more stock in? Jacob Fowler or Jakub Dobeš?

Honestly, I think the team is gonna do great with either one as the starting position. I may be a little biased towards Dobeš just because I love his personality and also his underdog story of originally not even supposed to being a starting goalie but showed up when he was needed to and sticking it to the teams that overlooked him during the drafting.

I’m gonna start off and preface, I actually think theres about an 80-85% chance we get at least one returning houseguest this season. With speculation that this seasons theme is Time Travel, they can easily be considered as “heroes from the past” or something along those lines.

I also think if there’s any vets, it’ll be from the pool of BB23-BB27. From this new era not a single houseguest has been given a second shot at the prize. And I feel like they’ve expanded their pool of houseguests enough to where they can bring some of them back now.

From BB23 my picks were Derek.X and Claire. I think they’re both favourites among the fans and also easy to get back on. They probably wouldn’t sign them on together for obvious reasons, but having one of them on I think is likely. The reason why I didn’t pick Tiffany is because shes already set to be on Destination X. And while it’s still completely possible that shes on BB this year since that show only airs next year, we haven’t had a person confirmed to do BB after being confirmed to do another show first in a while. (Although I’d LOVE Tiffany!)

For BB24 I’d be honestly surprised if anyone comes back. But I think Turner and Joseph are the likeliest candidates by a long shot. They were both just on The Amazing Race, so they definitely still have interest on being on TV. And I think production knows that. So if they want a vet from BB24, they’d be their guys.

For BB25 this one was a bit tougher but I said Felicia and Hisam. Felicia is a fan favourite and shes honestly a very smart player. Her only downside is her comp prowess but either way how adjusted the comps are now for physical vs mental in the last 2 seasons, I can see her doing well on a return. Same for Hisam. He’d be kind of the underdog pick if they decide to bring him back. A 3rd boot means he has a lot to prove but he’s had enough time off the show where I feel like if he returns he’d correct what he did wrong his first time around. Another pick Would’ve been Reilly, but Reilly is going to be on the Challenge 42. So similar reasons as Tiffany, I don’t think she’ll be coming on BB this summer.

For BB26 I think it’s easily Tucker and Angela. They produced the best TV on their season. And while they’re both polarizing, I feel like they NEED to bring back one if not both of them for BB28 to ensure they get the good ratings they oh so desire. Other candidates I thought about were Quinn or Leah, and while I think both would say yes should they be asked, I think they’d ask Tucker and Angela lightyears before them. It just comes down to who I think gets the call first really.

For BB27 I said Morgan and Jimmy. Morgan doesn’t need to prove herself, she already has winner potential. She just got unlucky at the very end. So being on BB28 would be her chance to make that up. I picked Jimmy for similar reasons as Hisam. I think he can very well correct what he did wrong and potentially make the deep cut. My third pick would’ve been Will. Hes very well liked and even if he never won a comp I think if they want to bring him back he can easily be both a crowd and a houseguest favourite. The reason why I’m omitting Keanu is, yet again, he’s gonna be on The Challenge 42 with Reilly. If not I definitely see him being in consideration. Maybe BB29.
