What would your club's halftime show be like?
Down at Ashton Gate, it would be a couple of numbers by The Wurzels, a few rounds of celebrity crazy golf (dunno... Baldrick, the girl from Portishead, and ex-sex offender Justin Lee Collins) finished with a raffle to win a year's supply of Cheddar cheese. It would not over run.

Plastic tops now being attached to bottles suits Big Grocery. It creates more spillage and thus increases sales.
I don't remember being consulted about it or that unattached plastic bottle lids were a particularly pernicious environmental menace - compared to, say, air travel, shipping, nucleat waste. How many people didn't bother to put the lid in the recycling with the bottle anyway?

What's the difference between excited and super-excited?
I notice that all the podcast hosts are super-excited by their guests and/or visa versa - no matter how obscure. Eg Max Lugavere. And the guy on Bloomberg just said he was super-excited about the Fed's decision to keep interest rates on hold. What is the science? How can I get my wife super-excited?

Anyone dabbled with non-uk regulated bookies?
I just wondered if anyone has been limited or do they just shut you down and steal your money. I've tried one out. Didn't take the full bonus cos it meant putting in more than I was prepared to lose. But took a few free bets and free spins. Once my balance got higher than I was confortable with I made a withdraw (about 20% of the balance). They actually paid out - which was a surprise. And did again a few days later.
But as I'm only interested in bonuses and have no interest in gambling, I wondered how long these accounts last before they shut you down. Anyone doing a similar thing?
