Are hanging dust collectors/air filters a viable way to reduce dust on cars?

I have a black car I drive about once a month, if not less. It's just a dust magnet, and most of the time when I wash it, it's due to dust build up.

Will something like this do anything to help?

(yes, I have ceramic coating and blah blah blah)

On the spectrum? I’m covering the whole spectrum!

It was extra fun going between the two today because I got new alignment settings I was testing.

Fun fact: With enough negative camber up front, the viper will absolutely oversteer mid turn.

I am here once again to complain about abandonment

Black just didn’t do anything for over a minute and my screen locked out due to inactivity. By the time I unlocked it was over. Abandonment.
wtf.

Warrany/Customer service is absolutely unacceptable

I had my H2D for a few months and kept getting errors. Stupid stuff that would clear.

Then one day it couldn't read left nozzle temp

They send me a new sensor. Pain in the ass but fine.

It doesn't work

They tell me to upload my print logs (wtf? what for?)

They confirm I have the same problem I guess and just tell me to go fuck myself. Literally dont respond for weeks, despite repeated emails

"We sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience and any confusion caused. This was due to a communication issue with our ticketing system , and was absolutely not an intentional disregard of your needs. We hope you will forgive us for the inconvenience."

They send me a new circuit board.

First off, what the fuck. Why do I have to go buy tools and spend all weekend (6 hours or so) fucking with this thing? Absolute bullshit. YOUR product failed under warrant (and barely any use- 100 hours or if I had to guess).

So I spend my free time this weekend taking apart this whole thing, loosening and tightening a million 2mm bolts, trying desperately not to lose one (I did) and not to break any of the delicate wires or ribbons. It's a pain in the ass because there is no comfortable position and you're just leaned over this thing. My bad back didn't help, nor did my big hands and fat fingers.

This is not what I do. I have no experience in this. Again, why am I doing this? This isn't some sort of 5 minute, or even 20 minute, plug and play deal.

Well, I finish that up and I get to a new error. The Toolhead Lifting Motor position hall sensor has an open circuit.

GREAT. I keep taking it apart, checking every connection and reconnecting to the point where the little bolts are getting stripped and sketchy to remove. No solution.

Now I to chat with customer service via one email response every few days, if I'm lucky. No need to have realtime chat or anything. I mean, who gives a shit if a customer's printer doesn't work? They already paid.

Truly, go fuck yourself.

[old man yells at sky] Why can’t GM let go of chrome?

Gm: we are trying to break the image of caddy being for old farts. We will make cars that crush BMW’s M cars, race IMSA and start an F1 team to bring young blood to our brand. We will make carbon interiors and aero packages. We will even make carbon sport seats. We will offer a manual!

Also GM: and we will use chrome on our plastic emblems, lettering and wheels because it’s luxurious. Everyone knows chrome is expensive and this plastic chrome looks just like real metal dipped in chrome but for a fraction of the cost!

What sports cars, let alone six figure, near 700 hp sports cars with the literal word black in their name, even has chrome options let alone standard chrome accents?

I just replaced all my emblems (front, rear, steering wheel) and lettering. Jfc what a difference. I feel like I personally just got 5 years younger.

Why did it even have this stuff. It looks REMARKABLY sportier and that “oem tuber edition” lool that GM has been chasing so hard.

I bet it’s even cheaper to do black than chrome.

Now to do something about the stupid chrome wheels it came with. Anyone notice that no aftermarket wheels look “just right” on the car? Somehow the ugly oem 5BW look best. But I pains me just powder coat them. It’s also more of a pita than just bringing wheels to the tore shop. Has 3-4 days of downtime and lots of running around.

Thank you for attention to this matter.

ETA: lol just noticed my chrome lugnuts. (Facepalm). They pay extra for this.

Think how amazing this car would be if they saved the money on the chrome and put it towards interior. Or just nothing.

I am looking for tires for my 5BW. It may see a track day or two a year. Justs wondering how they are in the wet. I've driven them on track in the wet and they're horrendous.

Just wondering what they're like on the highway and street driving. I'll probably do 50x more rain street driving than dry track days.
