Need advice on getting this fixed/fixing myself

Rental property:
Returned from a trip to find bubbling paint and pieces of the wall falling away beside the bathtub. As soon as I started peeling the paint away, chunks of the wall started falling apart. I was able to get most of the damaged stuff out of the wall and clean it up. When I opened it up, though, I found this little cavity with rotting wood that had a piece of what I think was dry wall (tore apart like cardboard when wet) nailed into it. Kinda leads me to believe that this isn't the first time this has happened. I've never had a problem with my landlord before—he always send people to repair things quickly, but he is out of the country with spotty reception at the moment, so I'm not sure when I can expect a response. I'd like to get this fixed ASAP, even if that means just being reimbursed later. Is this something I can bring in a plumber to fix and then repair the wall myself?

Anyone else shocked by just how much they were eating before?

My bf and I attended a wedding yesterday, so I allowed myself to just relax and eat (close to) how I used to. By the end of the day, I had consumed 3,000+ calories. I've been very consistent, so going over this one day isn't going to kill me.

It did get me thinking though: how much was I eating when I wasn't tracking. Could have easily been 3,500-4,000kcal a day. No wonder I gained so much weight 😵‍💫 Anyone else have this realization now that they're counting?

Lost my shit on my mom today.

This whole thing is more of a rant, so just be prepared for that. Suggested family counseling to my mother after she flooded my kitchen today and ended up losing my absolute shit. 2 years of therapy and learning to hold my tongue and I feel like I regressed.

For context: she lives with me, I pay all the bills. She has an autoimmune disorder (not sure what yet) that causes painful flairups. After she hit me with the "I ain't reading all that" type message, I snapped. I feel like I'm losing my mind with a woman who absolutely refuses to be anything but a victim in her own story. I'm so over it.

Looking for Advice on my Workout Plan

I (27F) just started going back to the gym a couple of weeks ago, and I'm trying to lean back into what I used to do. I recently discovered I've got exercise-induced asthma, and cardio is horrible for me, so I'm mostly lifting now. Any tips or advice on how I can improve this schedule? Are some of these too redundant? Thanks!

Thinking about joining PF after bad experience with YouFit

I'm thinking about joining Planet Fitness after having a bad experience with YouFit. Obviously, the price is great and 24 hour access is fantastic, but I was wondering how easy it is to cancel and what their customer service is like. Has anyone had any major issues, and is it easy to get someone to help you?

Thanks!

Teeth refuse to move with rubber bands. What should I do?

TLDR: Been wearing bands consistently for over a year and bite refuses to move further. Should I take the braces off and live with it, or tough it out and wait.

So, I've been in braces for about 2 years now and it's been going great up until a few months ago. I started wearing bands about a year ago, and have been doing it religiously (this is a huge flex for me). They moved a bit the first 3 months, but now, even after another 9 months, they refuse to go any farther. What's strange is that the bite on the left side is nearly perfect while the bite on the right is still off. Like I said, I wear the bands constantly—only taking them off to eat—so the teeth themselves no longer hurt, but now I wake up with headaches every day that don't go away unless I remove the bands for about 20 minutes. At this point, the bite is purely cosmetic, and you would only be able to tell if you were looking for it, but I also paid completely out of pocket for the braces, so I don't want to regret not getting my teeth 100% of the way there. This is literally the only thing we're waiting on.
Should I just remove the braces and live with it, or try and stick it out till the end without knowing exactly when that will be?

EDIT: My orthodontist has me wearing two bands on that right side now to try and get it to move. I don't think he believes me when I tell him I wear my bands lol

How can I politely ask hairdressers not to chop off a ton of my hair?

So, I have fairly long hair (a bit longer now than shown in the photo), and I love it! I've been growing it out for a couple of years now, and it's been very healthy. I have found that I run into this problem whenever I go in for a trim, though: For some reason, many of the stylists I've visited will always insist on trying to cut 6-10 inches off and say that it's fine because I'll still have plenty of hair. I don't want to be rude, but it gives me such anxiety around getting a trim. The last one I got was perfect; the one before that removed about 9 inches without even warning me. Any advice on how to be firm but fair when asking?

**TLDR: How can I nicely ask hairdressers to stop cutting off so much of my hair?**
