My personal stats from this season ^

As long as you have a decent combat summ (Barrier+Flash/Exhaust+Flash) the matchup is more than playable, I even consider it slightly Vayne favoured.

Yes I'm hardstuck Emerald because I'm bad and it's not that many games in the grand scheme of things, but nevertheless I always enjoy seeing enemy team lock in Teemo as a "counter".

It used to be a meme, but with how S16 gold catch-up mechanics are implemented, it's no longer a meme. I just had a game where I ended my laning as 1/1 with 20cs down, rotated mid, collected a wave, got ganked by their jungle+mid and clutched a solo doublekill with no help. Started recalling with 1% hp to then suddenly realize: I can't even afford a fucking long sword.

How is this okay?

Luckily their team ff'ed a minute later at 15, I was still down 1.6k gold vs my laner (who was 2/3 at this point) in the post-match screen.

A game before that we killed each other minute 7 (300 gold each), then a while later I scored a clean kill and got 170 gold for it, even in CS.

This ofc happens in reverse, when you're winning hard your team is going to be denied shutdown gold on their laners.

No wonder the best soloQ top euw is a singed OTP who leaves lane at lvl 3 to perma roam, any gold advantage you stack early game is going result in a massive disadvantage to your team.

TLDR: Go lock in Yone and send it 0/10 every game to guarantee your team wins, thanks for the wonderful catchup mechanics Riot.
