I am unable to boot
I’m unable to boot Tails 7.14 after updating. Tails 7.13 boots and works normally, but 7.14 does not boot. I’m using Ventoy.
Edit:
I formatted my USB drive, and now it’s working. I created the bootable USB again using Ventoy.

I really like the app, but I’ve noticed that I know very few people who actually use it. Most people around me use Signal. My concern is that if SimpleX becomes inactive or shuts down a few years from now, what would happen to our chats and chat history?
I know SimpleX allows exporting and importing the encrypted database, which is reassuring, but I’m still wondering how people here think about its long-term sustainability and future.
Hey everyone,
I’m currently using a ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 1 with an i5-10310U and 16GB RAM, running CachyOS.
I’m thinking about switching to Qubes OS 4.3.1 mainly for better isolation and security. Before I wipe CachyOS, I wanted to ask if anyone here has used Qubes on the X13 Yoga Gen 1.
How has the overall experience been? Mainly wondering about Wi-Fi, touchscreen, suspend/resume, and general performance with 16GB RAM.
Would really appreciate hearing from someone who has actually used this laptop with Qubes.
Thanks!
Wordfence isn’t working properly on my shared hosting. The scan gets stuck and doesn’t complete. What should I do? Is there a good alternative security plugin that works better on shared hosting?
If you were starting as a WordPress developer today, what would you recommend learning first?
Block Editor, Elementor, or traditional PHP-based development?
I’m a web developer tired of just installing caching plugins. How do you properly diagnose slow sites (TTFB, DB, images, JS, plugins, etc.) and which tools + learning path actually teach this from beginner to advanced?
If you were building a new website today, would you choose the WordPress Block Editor (Greenshift) or Elementor?
Hi everyone,
I’m setting up a WooCommerce site for a wholesale business and I don’t want customers to be able to buy products directly. Instead, I’d like them to send an inquiry.
Here’s what I need:
Swap the “Add to Cart” button for a “Send Inquiry” button
The inquiry should automatically pull in the product name (and ideally the SKU and quantity too)
The customer just fills in their name, phone, email, and a message
I get an email with all the product details so I know exactly what they’re asking about
I’m hoping for a free solution if possible, but I’m open to a good paid plugin if it’s worth it.
What’s the best plugin or method you’ve used for this?
Any recommendations that work well with WooCommerce?
Thanks in advance!
I'm using NextDNS on my home network to block porn sites, but it's not working reliably through my router. It works perfectly when I configure NextDNS directly on my phone. Has anyone managed to enforce NextDNS at the router level and prevent devices from bypassing it? Any router recommendations or setup tips would be appreciate
AES is the default and has hardware acceleration on most modern CPUs. But VeraCrypt also offers algorithms like Serpent, Twofish, and cascades (AES-Twofish-Serpent).
Is any of them actually stronger than AES in a practical sense, or is there no real-world security benefit?

I'm trying to choose between the Google Pixel 7a and the Infinix Note 60. I'd appreciate your suggestion on which one is better overall. Also, is the Note 60 a solid option in this segment?
How can I share the screen in Video Calls like Whatsapp From Android app .
Hey everyone, just out of curiosity I recently bought the 50MB Social Addon from StormFiber. After activating it, I ran a speed test using Fast.com since it uses Netflix servers.
Surprisingly, my speed increased and I’m currently getting around 60 Mbps.(Normal browsing 25MB)
If anyone else has purchased this addon, try testing your speed on Fast.com and share your results. I’m curious to see if others are experiencing the same improvement.
I will remove this addon next month because I think it’s not very useful. It’s more helpful for content creators who upload videos.
