What mods do you use (and recommend)?

For me I'm using;

Mercs: Using the entire collection that adds JA2 mercs into JA3.

TheBase: Adds a base for your guys.

More Armor

Tons of Components + Tons of Guns: Adds tons of those things.

ShowChanceToHit

-Mods below are ones I'm testing-

GC-Militia / Militia Overhaul mod: Lets you have a shop for militia, train them, equip them, pay for them, command them in battle, move them on the map.

Don't Reposition: Stops the BS enemies running everywhere when you surprise them.

OctoSquad: Makes squads size 8, instead of 6.

For those that used GC-Militia; what do you think of it?

Any other mods you'd highly recommend for me?

Should I use a loot drop mod or keep going vanilla?

I don't want to end up breaking the balance of the game but this is my 2nd run since the game first came out and man, it really feels like the lack of loot is unfair however does it get better later on? I don't want to end up using a loot balance mod just to become OP a few hours later.

Realpolitiks 1, 2 or other modern themed grand strategy games?

Can you tell me if Realpolitiks 1 or 2 is worth it? And other modern grand strategy games I don't know that do it better?

I've played Eversim's grand strategy games but they're so buggy and way too indepth to learn in a reasonable amount of time. I've also played Supreme Ruler and I like it but it's more of an economy and war sim. Then not to mention all the Paradox grand strategy games I played - but they're not modern.

I really want to try Realpolitiks 1 and or 2 (I want the one with the most content) but the lack of information on them and the amount of badmouthing is kind of turning me off.

Zero Sugar Cranberry Juice to 10% Wine Results

Not much to say other than this tastes fabulous and I generally dislike the taste of alcohol better yet this is made with baking yeast too.

I did 2 batches, 1 full juice and the other diluted 50% with water. Since both were zero sugar I added the amount of sugar I wanted to be fermented to reach said ABV I wanted. It took about 20 days to reach bone dry (under 1.000).

I am now deciding if I want to jack it to make it into a freeze distilled brandy which I seem to love doing now.

With both you can hardly taste the alcohol in them; seriously for the full juiced bottle my mind have to sit for a second to find the alcohol note since it never hit like how it normally does with bread yeast - harsh and potent; I'm flabbergasted with how smooth it was. I need to do real cranberry juice next.

2016 Hyundai Accent - Are my rotors and pads OK? Intermittent braking noises.

Probably a stupid question and you get it 1000 times but I have no one IRL to cross reference and asking AI chat one moment it says it's FUBAR and next it's OK, lol.

My car is making intermittent grinding noises only when braking, brakes perfectly fine and straight - I can slam on the brakes and come to a complete stop abruptly. I know I didn't take photos of the other side but according to these photos what are your thoughts?

Edit (my plan of action), 5-12-26 4:21pm; So today I went out again and checked the rotor again (these photos are actually from 5-6 months ago) and I didn't have a impact punch or a rubber mallet so I plan on going to the store to buy those so I can take off the rotors in the future. With said tools I plan on taking off the drums to look at them however thankfully I'm flexible and was able to get into the wheel well to see the front rotors without having to take them fully off and the pictures do not do it well, while there is rust and a lip it is almost flush with the rest of the rotor and while the back looks ugly as hell it is fairly smooth when I slid my finger over it multiple times.

I'm still baffled on why the noise is happening while the rotor isn't in that bad of a condition from the skin contact I made with it and pads look pristine while both rotor and pads are OG (car is 100K mileage). I will still take advice and recommendations as I'm still stumped.

I also know my rotors aren't pretty and brand new and as I said I might be wrong but at the same time I feel like they could be surfaced a bit but they're not bad enough to be a safety issue as of now since there's no cracks and only symptoms is intermittent noises (I have no swerving issues, and no pulsating for example); some days it's 50/50 on the noise, sometimes I can drive 2-3 days and it be fine.

I ask because I did everything by the book; I sanitized my stuff, I used yeast nutrient, first time using EC1118 and it feels like my containers are done 6 days later but I'm unsure?

1 is 3.5L Pure grape juice, about 10% - if ended naturally it will be dry.
2nd is 1.5L left over grape juice and apple juice to make a mixed berry so I didn't have any juice waste. 6-8% if ended naturally it will be dry.

Basement is the location of both bottles probably fluctuation from 65-70F.

Both grapes I'm having a hard time seeing bubbles rise or fall but I can see through the liquid a bit if I hold my phone flashlight behind the bottle.

I forgot to take a gravity reading on both.

I sampled it about a week ago and it tasted fine while it smelled like vomit - 7 more days later it still smells like it. It has been fermenting steady but now is slowing down 15 days later.

Thoughts? Pictures are of what I used for the juice.

Edit, additional info; I brewed in the bottle itself, Fleischmann's yeast 1/4 scoop with boiled dead yeast as the nutrients.

I ended up putting about how much ever sugar to make it 11 ABV for 1L bottle and 30mL of lemon juice extract and it sat for 10 days, cold crashed for 4 days. It ended up just tasting like alcoholic sugar water, no hint of lemon. Well I put in 60mL and I can't feel or really taste the lemon so I ended up putting a Crush Grape packet in the bottle and now it's low tier fake quality grape juice but you know what? It taste surprising good.

It just sucks cause I wanted a hard lemonade but no matter the amount of hard lemon extract it still tasted like alcoholic sugar water. Maybe I went too high on the ABV? Give me your hard lemonade recipes.

Edit: Like the bottle? https://www.reddit.com/r/prisonhooch/comments/1sxnjov/saw_someone_say_aldis_was_selling_these_went_and/

Just my announcement to this community, it sucks to have a game out for years without any established updates and most mods settled down for a rogue update out of nowhere potentially breaking said mods.

When I'm done posting this I'm going to go install Rome 2 and then drag it to my HDD storage and keep it as a backup just in case.

(Some games you can manually switch versions through Steam but not all games have that possibility and I haven't checked for Rome 2 and I like going the old school way).

Strawberry Jam [est 12%, Fleischmann's]
Hard Lemonade [est 9-12%, Fleischmann's]
Peach Apple [est 12%, Fleischmann's]
Cranberry (2x) [est 10%, Fleischmann's]
Grapefruit [est 10%, EC1118]
Grape [est 10%, EC1118]
Apple [est 10%, EC1118]
Leftover Grape & Apple Mixed [est 6-10%, Fleischmann's]

This is a combination of my 1st-4th batch. I started this hobby in the middle of this month and the first grapes I did completed fast so my first grapes aren't shown.

Edit: I'm nervous for my strawberry jam one as it looks gross but I never made anything with tons of pectin in it so it might be normal? Eager to try my Cranberry but it might take a month or two to complete as it's going super slow. The grapefruit is probably going to be gnarly in a bad way.
