I disagreed with my dad about Caitlin Clark. He believes she’s only popular because she’s white and that previous Black stars weren’t equally celebrated because of racism. Is this a common perspective in the Black community?

How the Supplemental Draft Order Works
One thing I keep seeing people get wrong about the Supplemental Draft is the order. It isn’t just the normal draft order from last season.
Teams are actually put into 3 tiers first. Teams with 6 wins or fewer are all grouped together, then the rest of the non playoff teams, then the playoff teams. After that, the NFL uses a weighted lottery to determine the order within each tier.
The only realistic teams that are 6 wins or fewer and could be interested in Sorsby are the Browns, Jets, and Cardinals. The group in that next tier of non playoff teams that could be interested in Sorsby with a later bid may be the Bucs, Colts, Dolphins, Vikings, and Falcons.
Of the playoff teams, I could absolutely see the Steelers putting a bid on him and possibly even the Panthers depending on how they feel about extending Bryce Young.
I honestly think there will be more interest around the league, and even from the Browns, than some people think. At the end of the day, it will be very interesting to see how all of this plays out.
As a Browns fan, I just had a mini-stroke reading that headline
As a fellow Browns fan, I genuinely can’t understand how some Browns fans are this soft after everything we’ve sat through since ‘99. It’s a video of Johnny Manziel fighting MMA, not a shrine to the dude.
Because of course this happened: Johnny Manziel wins MMA fight by TKO
How do you guys feel about Russell Hunter and the impact his company ‘Abolitionist Rising’ has on the community as a whole?
I know a lot of people on Reddit see abolitionists as too extreme or overly religious, and I get why the label turns some people off. But I personally really enjoy Russell Hunter’s videos. He’s been building a pretty large following, and a lot of people, both young and old, seem to support him when he’s out doing street interviews and debates. I’ve also learned a few things from listening to him, and one thing I respect is that he seems to stick to the same standards every time he talks with people instead of changing his arguments depending on who he’s debating.
The slap-hitting shit goblins are in first with a +23 run differential, the White Sox and Twins are somehow second and third respectively, the Royals are underperforming in fourth, and Detroit is alone in last even though we’re more than a quarter of the way through the season. This division is art.
Am I crazy for thinking that Berry would actually consider signing Henry Ruggs III if he became available?
He’s a first round talent that’s shown promise in the league, still young and if he kept in shape he could be a rosterable receiver still and we all know we came into the offseason needing recievers as much as anybody. But I can’t lie, a young core of KC, Boston, Bond, Jeudy and Ruggs all 27 or younger is pretty decent.
Obviously there’s major character concerns, but this is the browns and if there’s two teams I wouldn’t be surprised if he signed with is us or the chiefs.
