What's your favorite shirt. I'm a simple no frills man

This is my favorite vintage shirt I own. Faded and repaired 80s Hanes pocket tee. Some of the repairs are from the original owner, some from me. Thin and faded; It's super comfy and fits great. While I have sold most of the "grails" I've found, I love collecting these simple no frills kind of tees. I look forward to wearing and repairing this one for years.

What are the unexpected favorites from your collection?

1970s Breeze Easy sheer shirt

Picked up this sheer button up mens short today. Never seen anything quite like this before. The style seems like it could be 60s, but 70s also seems reasonable. This will be great for summer and definitely a unique piece. Need an undershirt though unless you're looking to show off your nipples.

Standard Manufacturing Co. 3qt bean pot. Emergency rescue

Standard Manufacturing Company, 3qt bean pot. Cast in Pittsburgh PA., in roughly 1875-1900. Someone abused this poor pot by painting it and using it as a planter. Luckily, they didn't drill drainage holes. I'll get her clean back up and looking as new as I can. Excited to add this to the collection.

One plus is that the paint probably protected the pot some. Rust seems minor, and pitting minimal. Should be beautiful when it's done, but she's a bit further down the restoration lost right now.

Help in dating the age of this table

Picked this up very cheap at a garage sale. It has a great rustic vibe. I want to do a light restore on it (like strip the probably lead based paint). It seems pretty old, and my guess is early 20th century. Would love some opinions on it. I just have photos of the pieces since I wanted to limit spreading the chipping paint around

Planning to use a chemical stripper to remove the paint and some light sanding of the table leg feet to remove some of the water damaged wood.

Late 80s - early 90s nature and hunting stuff

Snagged this stuff from a local thrift. As someone interested in vintage clothing and a hunter it great to find stuff that speaks to your personal hobbies. The two sweatshirts have a great cropped boxy fit and are going into the personal collection. The white tail AOP henley is my favorite. The graphic tee is not my style but I couldn't leave it behind.

I have a Trebark camo shirt that matches the pants, so I can wear these both during early bow season. FYI, this camo pattern was the first developed specifically for hunting.

Hammered lodge?

Picked this up as part of a small lot. I think it's a hammered lodge from the 1930s. What do you all think?

Sorry I've been bad about taking before pictures of my restorations lately. This thing is super heavy for it's size though.

Been in the market and scored today. Early Griswold New American #7

Been on the look out for a waffle iron lately. I was almost ready to pay up for one. I was even out bid on a #9 at an auction (went for $260!). Pick this up today for $50. Looking forward to getting it cleaned up and back in service.

1997 White tab denim shorts??

I thought white tabs were from the 70s and 80s, on things like corduroy. I have a pair of 80s levi cords. First time I have ever seen them in shorts. These are 1997 assembled in Guatemala. I normally only grab MiUSA levis, but these were my size and $1.

Any info on the status of 90s white tab denim would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is this an old one?

I have a small corningware and pyrex collection that started with stuff from both my wife's and my grandmother's. This is a piece from my grandma. Is it one of the original pre-corningware pieces? I love opaque pyroceram lid.

Open hearth waffle iron, hand forged handles.

I found this open hearth waffle maker yesterday. The waffle iron is cast, with the handle and hinge being hand forged. The handle is 21 inches long and the waffle iron is 6"x8". This thing is heafty. Each waffle section has a different design on both sides with none being the same.

It's probably going to be tough to impossible to date this thing. Some initial research suggests it's likely early 19th century, potentially late 18th. I need to read some more though. I believe the design suggests an earlier example.

This was only $9 so I couldn't pass it up. Restoration is going to be a process! Had a good CI weekend with lots of good finds.

Unmarked Wagner plett pan?

I am pretty sure this is an unmarked wagner plett pan. Let me know if I am wrong. Does anyone know what years these were made?

Was buying a large antique skillet off someone and asked of they had anything else they want to get rid of, and they brought this out.

Tulip handle restoration. 19th century bottom gate

Posted this a few weeks ago, but just finished the restoration. Beautiful skillet. Last two pictures are before. I estimate 1860-1870 on this one. I know the sulfur pitting takes away value, but I think it adds to the character. Excited to pit this one into rotation.

Vintage stetson beaver felt gambler

I picked up this vintage gambler style hat recently. Unfortunately it doesn't fit me. I think this is from the 1970s or 80s. Would love more information and an estimate of value. It's it pretty good shape, but could use a little reshaping. What would you value it at?

Behemoth #12 Bottom Gate one spout Skillet

I just scored this amazing #12 bottom gated skillet. It's in excellent condition. This is a really unique piece. Giant single pour spout, handle big enough for two hands. Appears to have the remnants of a maker's mark. This thing is HEAVY though. Makes my griswold 12 feel very light. It's almost 14" across and just under 3" deep

I had to drive 4 hours round trip to get it, but I couldn't pass it up, especially how it was priced. My 19th century bottom gate collection is growing nicely. I estimate this one is 1860-1870ish, but with these it could be earlier or later. doubled spout were patented in 1867.

Restored WAPAK #5 straight block logo, 1903-1910.

Freshly restored WAPAK #5. Beautiful piece with only a few minor casting flaws. Always amazing how a >100 year old skillet can be polished up and put back into rotation.

This is my first wapak in my collection, but from what I have seen the #5 is a bit harder to come by.

Some vintage Canadian iron, #6 Smart skillet from Brockville Ontario

Got this Smart skillet today. First time finding Canadian cast iron (I live in upstate NY). From my research this is from 1920-1935.

While these don't seem particularly valuable, they do seem relatively rare. Most examples I can find are smooth bottom, but this has a heat ring. If anyone has more information I would appreciate it.

Antique dresses. Very delicate and old. Advice please!

We purchased a lot of vintage clothes today and there were several antique pieces. We buy, collect, and sell vintage clothing as a hobby/side gig, but have no experience with pieces this old. Several of these have characteristics of 1920s pieces, with one likely being from the late 19th century (first solo photo). The last dress (purple lace) we estimate atleast pre-60s, but likely much older.

These seem too delicate and rare for our normal venue, and would appreciate any advice on these. My wife might keep a piece or two. Needless to say we feel a bit over our heads with these.

These are all in good wearable condition, but we have several that are quite brittle.
