Hi, I finally switched from iPhone to a Pixel 10 after 6 years of using iPhones. The main reason was that I hate being trapped in an operating system where you can't install your own apps, you need a Mac for proper iOS development and so. And iOS 27 beta was enough to me. Those who beta test will probably know what I mean. So I bought the Pixel and have some screenreader issues now.

1. My Talkback is sometimes very slow. Most of the time it responds fine, but sometimes I swipe and it starts scrolling and I have to wait forever until scrolling is complete so it swipes down. With the Talk Forward screenreader, which I would use it it worked, this is not an issue.
2. In Talk Forward, when being in a keyboard and I swipe through the letters it just jumps where it wants. Talk forward only allows me explore by touch in the keyboard.
3. I bought the Acapela TTS voices, two of them, but can't really switch between them. In the system settings I can go to language and select a different voice, but then I disable the auto language switch. There must be a way to switch within the app.
4. When I connect my bluetooth speaker, Talkback talks through this speaker which causes a lot of latency. On iOS, this only happened with headphones. I really hope that someone has experience with this.

Hi, I have my Pixel 10 for some days now and I have a problem. My friend and I often call to do some nerd stuff on the computer with music production and such. When I had the iPhone we used FaceTime and I turned off the voice isolation so he could hear everything. Now on the Pixel, disabling Clear Calling doesn't make any difference here. We tried phone and Signal, both filter out all my background noise like music and everything. I can't find ann option to turn this filter off. Anny advice?

Hi, I'm an iOS user with latest Tidal app version on latest iOS. However the AI tagging system is not there and there is no option to enable it under audio and playback. I am in Austria. Is it a roll-out, or forbidden in the EU? I read that some are already having it.

Hi, sorry for posting this here but I don't know where else to bring this up. I'm a very sound-sensitive person and currently have the problem that really every alarm sound I can find scares me out of bed and I'm completely streed and shocked. I have a alarm clock I got from my mother I should use, but I never use that because that just beeps very loud. So I use my iPhone, first the Radial sound, which was horrible. Now, the best option for now is the seedling sound with the haptics disabled, but even that, as strange as it may sound to you, I get still completely shocked out of bed in the morning. So I wanted to ask: Do you have any ideas what I could use as an alarm sound on my iPhone or iPod touch? Sorry for my bad english. PS: I can get track in every length into my alarm since I developed my own app.

Hi, I got my moondrop pill last saturday, and after a total use time of three hours where I put them in the case quite often (I used it over the days till Tuesday), the case battery was at zero and didn't charge the buds anymore. Why does the case run out of battery so quick? Are the 28 hours only when you drain the buds completely and then put in the case? Does the case lose battery when unused?

Hi, I love slow whispering. But really everything I can find on YouTube is either too fast for me or they just make very long pauses between the whispering. But noone actually whispers the words itself as slow as I would imagine. So not just long pauses between the words, but whispering a word over an extra long duration. So I'm wondering if there really is nothing like that and if I should create my own channel doing this. I'm thinking about a channel for a year now but never really started then because scared that my family would find it and they hate ASMR.

Hi, I heard that Android resamples everything to 48 kHz. As an Apple use that never mattered to me, but now thinking to switch. So my question: Can Tidal get around this as it could earlier or will selecting Hi-Res doesn't have any advantages?

Hi, I recieved my Moondrop Pill yesterday. I bought it from Amazon for 27 € from ShenzhenAudio or how you write this. And sadly I noticed that the treble sounds like loq-quality MP3, so not very clear, but more like some faulty tape. Especially on consonants like s, it sounds like listening to 64 kbps MP3. Also the bass is a bit uncontrolled, a bit longer and not very snappy. I'm comparing this to my Moondrop Chu II now. And because I have never found any of this on the internet I am wondering if I got scammed with a fake pair or if they have issues. The Moondrop Global App recognizes them as normal.

Hi, I am iPhone user for 7 years now and I have a problem with my VoiceOver audio. Whenever I plug my IEMs with the DAC into the phone and start navigating around the screen, VoiceOver stops talking when I don't move the focus for three seconds or longer. The DAC goes into a standby mode and then fades in slowly over a second when starting moving again. This makes me always miss the beginning of the text. Anyone an idea how to prevent the DAC from going to a standby mode?

The situation I will describe now it was recently happened to me and it happens quite often to me: When I meet with new people and they help me move in a new location by just guiding me, they often are too careful. Once someone even asked me if his touch is too intense for me. When I asked why, he said that I am blind and blind people are much more sensitive and feel way more intense. I replied back that I am not over sensitive and he was confused: What? Do you still have some sight? And this happened a few times now, although this was the worst case I just described. Hi, I'm a blind person just having fun developing. I made some windows apps (jokyboy129.github.io if you are interested) and now trying with Swuft. Since I do not have a Mar or the money to buy an apple developer account I have no way to get my app to the Appstore. I developed a sleep app where you can create your custom soundscapes with some presets and a way to import own sounds, reverb and spatial panning. You can also set an alarm that very gently fades in and some other features like sleep timer/fade out and fade back in in the morning before the alarm fires. You can also import a sleep meditation to fall asleep to. While the meditation plays, the soundscape slowly fades in. Now my question: Since I can't get it to the appstore and I have an unsigned IPA built on Github Actions, is anyone in the sideloiding community interested? If yes, I will provide it here on reddit, if not, I will just keep it private and use it for myself.

Hi, I'm a blind developer currently developing a meditation timer and sleep engine application. For this, I'm looking for background sounds. I can't find any rain sound that I could loop without getting this weird loop sound. Do you, the listeners of ASMR, know where to get some high quality rain sounds that can be looped? I can't push from YouTube, because they are all 10 hours or so. The app is open-source once it is finnished.
