Is the appliance/tech market ready for no frills type of brand?

No frills is a (canadian?) super market that carries no brands and just sells you cans with minimal labeling that says sauce, beans etc...

Is the market ready for a similar approach in appliances, home tech? simple fridge, washing machine, dishwasher.. things that dont have an app, dont connect to the internet.. just does the thing it was designed for and calls it a day.

I watched elijah's online pot SC and goodness me.. that thing combined the worst in "smart appliances" and the hassle of cooking and cleaning to the point we are 10 steps behind!
