might sound silly, but is it alright to leave a portable air inflator ( so a lithium battery ) under the seat despite how warm it gets under there?

i just kinda know heat and battery = bad.

Sprocket change - 17/39 to 16/41. noticeable difference?

Maths is working out at a 11.7% increase for acceleration/high rpms per gear.

I can deal with that, 6th never gets used anyway and I barely go over national speed limits, so putting that power/gear ratio into accel vs top speed is fine with me.

Is changing the sprockets this way enough? 11% doesn't feel like a lot on paper, but from reading around it's a noticeable difference apparently?

Getting a new bike, was going to immediately take it to my garage to service it just to get it upto scratch. anything i should specifically ask to replace? peace of mind kind of thing?

I was thinking replacing chain/sprockets regardless of condition for example, and check/top up all ya basics like fluids and stuff even if look fine, i'd feel better putting brand new in.

Got scammed buying a car. :(

Went to buy a more newer / reliable car for transport to and from hospital from a serious condition that's over an hour away which will need to be done multiple times a week for a awhile soon

Find one, seems good, passes all the usual sniff checks, full of paperwork etc, normal, everything looks a-ok. about an hour out but s'alright....

one of them is even a cop ( non-US otherwise i'd instantly bail lol ) . drove fine for a lil bit and then bam.... issues and problems, i've been blocked. and im not about to go confront a cop and its also a private sale so not really any recourse without super hard proof which obvs there isnt any... and its time, hassle, stress, cost for courts too...cars are a bit cheaper this way though because of it.. this is the biggest purchase ive ever made in my life and its only a couple of k.

I got home, just with no vehicle, i used food money to arrange for it to be towed to a garage and probably just gonna try to recoup some little cost there i guess and sell it to them.

im just sad more then ranting i guess. my partners really bummed out.. theres chronic illness and we just want to be able to go to the appointments and back reliably. last thing we need ffs.

dinner is donuts but ive only had one.

2011 Toyota Aygo 1.0 - Drives for 60 miles ( 1.5hourish ) then cuts out, reseting for half an hour or so allows us to continue journey

Theres absolutely no sign anythign is wrong, no check engine light or anything. the car is 100% normal

then the power just goes, accelerator does nothing, switching to a lower gear as speed reduces just stops the car faster.

Im suspecting something is over heating? maybe a fuel pump? It didnt sound very smooth and consistent listening to it run when cycling the ignition on and off and few times to build pressure, but i thought it should only need to run to pressure teh rail ONCE per ignitiion cycle .but yeah took 2-3 for the noise to actually stop as the pressure had built.
